Which Region had the best Leauge?

By that I mean, you know how each pokemon games have 8 Gym Badges, 4 Elite Four Members, and 1 Champion? Well yeah, that's what all 6 regions revealed so far have gotten! Well, on this thread, this is basically asking you;

*Which one of those 'leagues' from the 6 regions did you like the best?
*Which one had the best music?
*Which one had the best badges?
*Any other thoughts? Share em' here!

Regardless of the fact that there is STILL no Dark-type Gym Leaders, I'd definitely say the Sinnoh League is my favourite. The Elite Four for starters is actually somewhat challenging in comparison to the likes of the Johto E4, and the Gym Leaders actually use a good mix of Pokemon. Then we've got Cynthia who is in a league of her own.

This is a tough one... if I were to pick only a single league, although I do like Hoenn a lot, I would say Sinnoh.

Their badge designs, at least in my eyes, look very appealing; they tend to catch our eyes without much trouble at all. On top this, in-game, we were able to clean them by wiping our stylus to the bottom screen, which I found to be sort of nifty; it did help add more realism. If it were real life, badges would likely be getting themselves dirty after a while, and in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, they did!

Besides that, they also seemed to have had a good mixture of Gym Leader typing (as goes for their Elite Four members). Of all leaders they had, I'd say I'm most fond of Volkner; his appearance is rather unique overall (very fitting for the league's final Gym Leader, if you ask me), and his team was sort of challenging to go up against as well. Also, Sinnoh's champion, Cynthia, was definitely one of the toughest I have ever went up against; in my first play-through, it had taken me days to get her finally beaten.

Sinnoh. Firstly, the badge designs are the best ones, in my eyes. They're not complicated, there's a clever and/or interesting reasoning behind them and that metallic look to them is the icing on the cake. They're what badges should look like. Secondly, I preferred many of the Gym Leaders and the E4 to the ones of other regions. The Gym Leaders were all interesting, whether it be their personality, dialogue or the way they looked, in many cases it was a mixture of those things. Plus, I think the Pokemon they use are very nice, preferable to a number of the other Leaders that use the same type. The E4 were more enjoyable to battle than other E4's, with the Sinnoh E4 being the best in my opinion. I think the types that the E4 had were interesting, the only Bug and Ground-type E4 members to date, along with their selection of Pokemon. Then there was Cynthia, a wonderfully designed character who was someone that helped you throughout the story with a very strong team, the best of the Champions.

Best league is the Sinnoh league in Platinum flavor. I find the Platinum E4 to be inferior to BW, but the Champion makes up for it.

Best music is BW.

Best badges, Johto, I believe.

Best Badges: Kalos. I think each badge is really unique whereas the other regions kind of followed a similar shape. On a side note when I first saw the silhouette of the psychic badge from anistar city I thought I'd be facing a poison type gym. I get how it's a badge for a psychic gym, but I feel like that wouldn't be your initial thought... or at least it wasn't mine.

Best music: Either Hoenn or Sinnoh. hoenn's gym music makes me feel pumped while something about sinnoh feels really Pokemon like to me.

Best league: Best league is really hard omg. I feel like the gym leaders of Johto were the most consistently challenging. Though the only gym leader I really care for from that region is Jasmine. But now that I'm going through each region's gym leaders I tend to only like one or two from each. But then I think Unova had the best elite four and I'm torn between Steven and Cynthia as best Champion. SO I DONT HAVE AN ANSWER

I knoooow I'm being a tad biased here. XD

But, for league, I'd have to say the Kanto League is my favourite, because I'll always remember the struggles and torture that I went through as a kid just trying to get through everything in Pokemon Yellow especially, when the levels sky rocket from The Celadon Gym to the Fushia Gym, but all and all, I actually pretty much loved the challenge! Then again, I simply relied on Pikachu for the whole game, haha.. but still, it was really awesome. <33

Ah, as for music, I'd say the Kalos Gym music & the Hoenn Elite Four music, as well as Sinnoh's Champion music were my favourites!



The other themes were good, but, the Kalos' Gym theme especially makes you pumped up for a match and ready to rock~! I dunno, out of all of em', it feels more Gym-Battleish to me! Now as for Badges, for me it's a tie between Kanto's and Hoenn's badges. I'm a fan of simplicity, and well,I do love how they look in particular. :3
