Yeah some are not that great, but it's also partly because they're motionless ripped models with poor lighting.. I think they'll look better in motion in the game and when their official art comes out. :(

Not really feeling most of these designs tbh. The only ones I like are Liligant, Arcanine, Electrode, Sligoo/Goodra, Samurott and Decidueye (that ronin aesthetic). The new Sneasel and Ursaring evos look alright - I'm curious about their lore and why they're extinct in modern Sinnoh (especially Sneasel?). The Qwilfish evo would be so much better without that pair of gigantic spines imo. Dialga and Palkia are kinda...well those "origin forms" are incredibly ugly imo. There's no thematic link to Giratina's own origin form - I'm wndering if these are actually fusions ala Black/White Kyurem and not actual alternate forms.

Really hoping this is the case for Typhlosion. That's my favourite Johto starter

I am so sad because the designs looked so promising and indeed I still like some of them. Like, Arcanine looks kinda good, the starters evolutions are ok. Decidueye is really cool. I HATE the new Dialga and Palkia forms, like the worst pokemon designs I have even seen tbh, It makes me really sad because they're my fav legendaries. I am very disappointed for the lack of a new Arceus form because the game it's about them and because to complete Sinnoh lore, we needed it. Other forms are ok, but I am not really a fan of them. The forms shown in the trailers were soooo good. But these others, I don't really like any of them...
I am truly kinda disappointed...

Really, really disappointed with most of the new forms so far. I'll wait on animations before fully judging them but I definitely like most of the originals over these new forms. What is the deal with most of them looking depressed, by the way? Although... H-Typhlosion is kind of amusing to me, since I noticed it looks like Gym Leader Morty. That means, Morty probably modeled his outfit on H-Typhlosion, which is a Ghost-type Pokémon. Pretty sweet detail.

Also disappointed with the time travel shenanigans, even though the Arc Phone was a dead giveaway for it. I was hoping this game would draw closer to the historical fiction genre rather than time travel science fiction. Oh, well - can't have your cake and eat it.

I'm waiting on human character leaks as well. I was super happy to see Karen's ancestor here; I'm not too keen on the Sinnoh ancestors barring possibly Kamado and Ginter, so seeing a familiar friendly face with a familiar fluffy baby got me excited. Also, if she's in, that means... Koga's ancestor must not be too far, whoever they are! I hope we actually get to see them.

My favourite Pokemon Lilligant is getting an alternate form. I am so happy. The alternate form also explains why regular Lilligant 'hops'. Lilligant and Samurott are my favourite forms.

I am not talking about the graphics of the game itself, but the style in general, like the clothes, the cover art, the good Hisuian forms that were shown and so on. Can't accept they ruined my fav legendaries...
According to another leak Volo is going to have Giratina on their team at the end of the story. I would be disappointed if they didn't let us catch them after that tbh.

Well... I'm meh on the whole time travel aspect itself. I'm way more excited to know whose ancestors beside those of the Sinnoh characters turn up in this, now that they've shown Karen's ancestor. (Ironically, my favourite of the ancestors before they showed Sanqua was Lian - the possible ancestor of a Unova character.) And I agree - I think "cursed" perfectly describes some of these variants. I even described Hisuian Lilligant as such in my mind - I mean, she looks like one of those images of "naked" Pokémon with no fur, feathers or hair anywhere!

As for Volo... Oh, sweet Jesus, no. Something is REALLY wrong with the entire lineage. Their connection to the Legendaries, the extremely powerful Pokémon, the stalking and turning up exactly where they can meet you... *shivers*

btw, the ore I look at them, the more I am getting used to it. Maybe it's because the whole aesthetic and environment is totally different from usual pokemon games, so we're not used to this "new kind of pokemon designs". I mean, idk. They still look bad but the seem more of "weird" now, rather than Nature disaster lol

The ones I don't like specifically are the legendaries. And the starters look too similar to the normal ones. Other then those I don't dislike the non legendaries. I haven't seen the Qwilfish line yet.
