Who was your favorite Elite Four Member?

My favorite is probably..... Grimsley!

1)He uses the Dark type, my favorite type.
2) Amazing and deep quotes. There are more quotes.

Grimsley is my favorite as well. I like his slick design, pokemon team, and cool back-story about being from a prominent family who fell into ruin (and being a gambling addict). His quotes are what make him stand out to me though. The one you mentioned and the one about the flipped coin are my favorite of his. Dude is definitely a deep thinker. {XD}

I'd also have to jump on the Gimsley hype train as well. He just stood out so much more in terms of design and personality. His back-story was really interesting as well. I think Phoebe would be my second favorite.

Karen is my favourite. She's the first Dark-type specialist, her design is edgy and her team is actually really well rounded despite not being totally restricted to Dark-types. She also happens to have some great dialogue!

^ damn, I like that quote a lot. There's a couple bits in Johto when characters found different ways of saying something like that - the dragon's den quiz thingamajig was kinda like that, as well as the game contrasting you with Silver, who refuses to use anything but strong Pokémon. I feel like loving all Pokémon equally was a consistent theme in the Johto games, but Karen put it really well :)

As for me? I like Will a lot, seeing as he's one of the few trainers that uses Xatu, my favorite Pokémon. Grimsley is pretty epic, and I love Drasna as well! She's so sweet and her outfit is amazing ^_^ Speaking of XY, I also really like Malva! It's not too often that the Elite Four members have any character development other than "character who stands in the middle of a room to be battled", so the idea of a evil Team Flare E4 member is pretty interesting to me. Similar reason to why I like Giovanni, really.

Overall... I don't think I could pick a favorite among those I mentioned.

This is exactly what I was going to say. Quote and all. After Karen, definitely Phoebe.

Caitlin will always be my favorite. I like her constantly relaxed style and the fact that she is incredibly rich and has influence in many different areas all across the PokeWorld makes her incredibly interesting. Plus I really like Musharna and she just seems so close with her Musharna.

I still have a strong feeling she will be appearing in Sun and Moon.

I've always liked Sidney for his design. Like a punk guy with a penchant for Dark types. Not a formidable challenge to battle, though. Wikstrom and Siebold come to mind too. Great characterisations.

Well I guess since Angie changed her mind I'm the only one here whose favourite is Drake ;)

I love his character design, his cape makes him look like the awesome Dragon Tamer he is and although he has three Dragonites which is annoying, his team has some pretty cool Pokemon on it.

This might be surprising, buuut I actually love Drasna:

Drasna is probably the kindest Elite Four member ever, as she's pretty strong with Dragon type pokemon, and she has the smile of Mother Earth~ Well, I'm also biased because I do generally love Dragon type Gym Leaders and Elite Four members, but Drasna just seals the deal for me. <33

And yeah, like everyone else, I do like Karen, from her philosophy on Pokemon, and her artwork; it's reaaaaally cool. Another couple of mentions would be Aaron, Bertha, Lorelei, and Phoebe.

I love Shauntal from Unova!

Her style is so cute, and she's a ghost type trainer, like me.

I don't see why more people don't love her, she's just so sweet and so cool. She's also a writer which I think is just adorable and also makes some of her quotes quite nice!

I haven't played all of the generations, but Karen and Phoebe are definitely my current favourites. Both have really interesting visual designs and Karen's quote is old, but gold. (Haha, get it, Pokémon Gold and Silver?) I also like how Phoebe is related to the guardians.
