4th Gen Who was your starter?

I picked Turtwig. His design is insanely good (like other Gen IV starters' who are actually cute and seem to be connected to each other more than other starter groups), I love turtles and his stats are pretty good. Torterra's STAB is awesome, way better than other Grass-type starters'. One reason I like Torterra so much is because he's the slowest of all and thus the fastest under Trick Room. But think his base Speed should be abysmal, like 35 or 40 instead of 56.

On the other hand, I'm glad I bred my sister's Pokemon on my game because now I have a female Empoleon, which is quite rare according to Serebii :3

All starters have a gender ratio of 1♀:7♂, so all female starters, regardless of its species, are rare.

I got chimchar in a trade later on, but since i used Torchic in Sapphire i wanted to use the oppsite in sinnoh. And i wasnt a fan of playing another fire/fighting

First time in Diamond, I picked Chimchar. I picked Piplup for both my first Pearl and Platinum playthroughs. Probably my favorite of the starters...Empoleon, that is. I don't really like the Sinnoh starters very much. :( Especially the middle evolutions, yuck.
