I'm thinking Houndoom. And yes, it was Carninvine.

I'm not the most popular fire type, but that doesn't make me a bad one to have around. I carry "the weight of the world" on my back and I'm from gen III. Who am I?

Hoppy and pippy? Tough one :P The wonderful Hoppip, of course!

I can generate up to 100,000 volts and can knock a Dragonite unconscious with a single shot. I can use my tail to ground myself as well as collect electricity from the air. Once I'm fully charged, I can get very aggressive.

I'm probably quite controversial because of my large appendage. I was introduced in generation IV as an evolution to a gen I Pokemon that has the same thing. Don't ever say my name out loud if you're asking your friend to trade me over. You'll get looked at. Who am I?

I am known as the volcano Pokémon and according to many dex entries withstand any flame attack. A sign that I am about to strike is that I will turn my back to you. I may be on all fours, but I can be quick to doge your attack. Who am I?
