Why did you join PokéCommunity?

I just stumbled onto here and thought it was cool, so I became a Member.
 
Because I liked the slogan. No seriously, back when the slogan was "We are looking for a better slogan", I thought it was funny. :[

Then I joined again a few months later (I'd forgotten about the place and it'd done a restart to vBulletin), I joined because of the slogan again, because it was an updated version of the original and I recognized it. ♥

Pretty lame, huh?

Pokemon Rom Hacking.

I wanted to play shiny gold and get the tools so I could make my own game. But then I gave up.
 
Meh.

I tried to start over with my forum life from a bad reputation at another Pokemon Forum. I tried to leave that forum, so I joined and decided to come hear, and I was attracted by one of Trainer Kat's RP's so then I finally joined. I still go to the other forum that I tried to leave though, I can't seem to get rid of going there. ;__;

And now I can't seem to find a fitting avatar...

Back then I was in love with the anime....don't really watch it anymore.
 
I joined because my friend across the street showed me the Teen Titans RPs. XD So I started rp-ing and joined the Teen Titans club and met other Teen Titans fans. : 3
I stay here because everyone here is so friendly and it's just fun to chat around with everyone, plus modding is fun. XD

Well as a noob hacker, i wanted to find a place to download pokemon shinygold.
I finally found the thread and downloaded it.
but I found that the PC is so much more than meets the eye(transformers saying) and thats how i decided to come and stay here.
this is a great friendly place, but the noobs are the only bad parts about this place. They don't even read the rules.
 
A good long while ago. I know that it says 2005but really I joined a year before in 2004 I made this accoung with a simlar name but I forgot the new password to that one and had to create this since I couldn't figure out the old (or more like new one).

Still joined to RP, staying for friends and junk. Also it is fun to post around every so often and have fun with the new theme ideas that I have and junk. Need to come up with a new one by the way.
 
I was a member on SPPF and I always lurked around fanfiction and I read tons of stories on there. I then began to wonder if maybe more sites had fanfiction areas. So I went to good 'ole google and typed in "pokemon fanfiction" and sure enough this site popped up! I was knew to forums and I liked the idea of being apart of them.

So I joined and went straight to fanfics! In fact, all my earlier threads were fancfictions. Then I decided to lurk around and I came across MCG and began posting in Clubs and even more so in fanclubs. I met almost all my good friends in some sort of club, mainly from randomly saying "Hi, you're cool! Friends? :D" in their fanclubs XD;

I joined for fanfiction and stayed for the people.
 
I actually joined by complete accident one night. It was about 2 AM, and I was a bit drunk, and stuck in my fire red game (For the record, pokemon is actually alot more fun while playing under the influence). I didn't know where to go next, so i did the practical thing, and decided to google-search it. I forget exactly what i typed in, but this site was on of the first links that showed up, so just for the hell of it I clicked it, and decided to register on here. I posted around in the fanclubs section for a bit, then signed off, expecting never to actually bother coming back here again. The next day I was looking through my IE history, only to see that this site was still there. Having a clouded memory of what had actually happened the night before, I was all like "...wtf?" and clicked into it.

...Basically, I joined here for the pokemon-aspect of the forums, but only ended up staying this long because of all the kick-ass people I've met here. <3
 
Hey.
I joined PokeCommunity because i love pokemon alot.
I came across it when i saw a thread on Google that was on Pc.
I also saw the Gaming Boards to so that also made me Join.
The reason why i am still hanging around since i joined last year i like most of the friendly people here and i love wifi battling.
 
Because I needed the quickest means possible to see why I couldn't trade a hacked Sapphire Deoxys into Emerald.
Point blank.
 
I joined to troll a member, but I got all lazy and ended up not trolling him. I decided to actually stay 'cause the graphic community was a lot more active than the one at SPPf, and some other things.

Joined because back in 2003 I was pulled back into my Pokemon obesession.. after being sort of out of it for about a year, or so. Never totally stopped liking it, but other anime had a hold on me. xD

In 2003 I wasn't aware that were Pokemon forums like PC and Serebii around.. and I didn't find PC until 2005, when I was looking up some info and found this place by chance. Joined, because it looked like a cool place to talk about Pokemon-related things. The rest is histroy.. been here since then.
 
I originally joined for Shiny Gold, but after a while of searching other areas it just felt natural. I have only 2 friends in real life who share my obsession with pokemon and neither like talking aobut the subject unless they want my help. This just feels like a place I belong...

I was looking for Pokemon downloadable saves and stumbled across this site, it looked like a good community so I joined, now I know its a good community.
