Depends on what you are doing. If you are defeating it, I am really okay. Your game.Does hacking a Pokemon to appear in the wild against the rules?
If you are capturing and trading it, I am not okay.
Battling with legal hacks is okay; tell your opponent in advance.
Again, depends if your client accepts it or not. Most cannot tell or perhaps do not care. You cannot offer virtually unobtainable items, however (e.g. Cherish Balls). Also, are hacked items against the rules as well? I would think not as most people offer a rare candy leveling service on their trade threads.
Considered timezones? He lives in Europe while the other 3 live in North America. Less forum activity during GMT than EST timezone. Less reports. Not to sound like a jerk or anything, but why is Horizon a Moderator of the Trade Center? I honestly have never seen him moderating here like TwilightBlade and Erik Destler, or maybe thats just me.
I "cannot" mod, and yet I still do. Activity =/= a good moderator. However, I do agree that stable activity is a key component of being a moderator, but you must realize that most of PC's staff is preoccupied with life, families, friends, education, work, hobbies, etc. A thread asking for a Piplup is not the end of the world. It will be moved eventually. Carry about your day. Finally, somebody that agrees with me..
Sorry if anyone finds this insulting, but simply put, why be a mod when you cannot mod?
Mkay, so I gleaned this thread yesterday, and from what I can remember, here is my take on previous discussions:
1. Please do not suggest "more mods" because adding more eggs does not make a better cake. Not being mean, just honestly blunt.
2. Thread moderation was the big change we have been discussing, but I felt that it was too extreme to implement in such a busy forum (especially since the HGSS wave). Of course, some here may think, COOL, but what about us approving..? At Wifi's insane new thread rate...? We need to recharge, you know.
3. Feel free to ask if a trader's Pokemon are cloned, RNGd, etc. Generally, I do not think anyone would have a fuss over providing such information... If you ever feel uneasy, do not trade with the person, lawl. ;o
4. LOVE that redirect to rules suggestion; I saw that feature utilized on another forum (and they had a quiz too, lol, okay not for us) but I learned a lot in 10 minutes. -hardly reads other rules- :3
5. Do not like Pokedex thread; I believe that that will cause others to ask for a shiny thread, event thread, IV/EV thread, etc. Um, no. Just browse/search shops... Not that hard. You should step in a shop to see what they are offering, because the title will not always indicate the offers (We have McDonalds, not McFries or McBurgers on the huge sign, thanks). :D
