It was great! A bit messy though, might have to watch it again to catch all the details.

So Twelve met Davros as a kid and realized that he had had a chance to kill Davros before the Dleks were created? Thus changing history heavily? Anybody drawing a reference here to how Ten refused to change history in Fires of Pompeii? :)

Also no way Clara and Missy are dead, nope.

Did you guys notice some references to the RTD era they put in? Shadow Proclamation with the rhino thug, Davros overall, and of course clips from the old Who. And he HUGGED Clara! That was beautiful.

He didn't change history in the 50th special, he just realized the truth. Would he really erase the Daleks in order to get Missy and Clara back?

My thoughts on Magician's Apprentice were:

It was really cool to see Davros return, and I was blown away when the little boy at the beginning of the episode was him. It was also nice to see Missy return. She was a ton of fun in this episode! I think that like Rika said though, there's no way Missy and Clara are dead. I wouldn't be surprised if it's like in Journey's End, where they were just transported to another location rather than killed, or something to that effect.

Omg. Doctor Who The Witch's Familiar was amazing. Just thinking about the episode I wanna rip my eyes out of excitement.

I really believed Davros was dying and didn't have any evil intent behind anything. Clara was a dalek. I thought the doctor was really going to shoot her. There's no way Missy is going to die. It seemed like she was about to make a deal with the Daleks, they might pop back up at season finale.

Loved this episode. I too gasped and freaked out when the boy said his name. Still really unsettled about that whole Tank/Guitar/Sunglass, Clara is right, its just not really The Doctor.

Really liked how it visited previous places at the start. It really was a episode that rewarded you for watching. I love how they re-visited Genisis of the Daleks.

Also was it necessary for Bors to be a Dalek person? I feel like it was only because "Hey these guys still exist, remember guys!!!" And Skaro has returned! I wonder if its a new planet all together, guess we won't be seeing the other Skaro life then.

Missy really shined in these episodes, was unsure last year, but starting to like her.

Really don't want to comment on this without a second watch, but I'll just forget to post again.

I didn't even know Davros had real eyes, and the crying. That was powerful. I was probably the only one who expected Davros to actually die. But alas as the Doctor's Arch Nemesis it was all a Trap for the Doctor.

Unlike most theories that the powerful Hybrid is the Dalek/Timelord. I actually think it was referencing back the Human/Timelord that has happened a few times in NuWho. Though ofcourse Davros would want it to be Daleks.

Well after watching several episodes of Doctor Who on Netflix this past summer, I debated on whether to join this club or not. I have decided to join.

Favorite Episode: When it comes to my favorite episode, I am going to list my favorite Classic Who episode and my favorite New Who episode. For my favorite Classic Who episode, it is The Curse of Fenric. As for my favorite New Who episode, it is Victory of the Daleks.

As for where I am on watching Doctor Who, I am still only on Series 8. For those that have not heard, Doctor Who is one of the franchises featured in the video game Lego Dimensions. Both the Doctor and a Cyberman are playable characters.

Doctor Who: Under The Lake

I wasn't expecting much from this episode, I just thought it'd be an average episode. I was wrong, I want to know what those ghosts are, I want to know about that ending, too many questions. I'm sure everything will be settled by the end of the next episode.

Am I the only one who hates doesn't like Rose?

New episode tonight! So that means also re-watching last weeks as I'll be doing with each two parter. I'm glad they brought 2-parters back, but they need to find a balance, too much eps this season are two parters.

No you are not Al3x, I didn't mind her so much in S1, but Davis put too much force on the lovey thing after that, and thus ended up ruining Marthas run too. Though I guess if she wasn't like that, she couldnt become the character she did during the finale, after that, and on torchwood.

I'm just getting back into Doctor Who, I stopped watching when Amy left. At the moment, I'm rewatching all the way from season one (2005), I'm halfway through Season Four. I might not post too often at first because of that since obviously I will have nothing to say with regards to current episodes.

Favorite Doctor: 10th (sometimes nostalgia makes me think 9th, I also really like 11th but there were so many bad episodes during his spell that it's hard to pick him)
Favorite Companion: Amy (Rose would be a close second if she never returned in series four with the strange voice)
Favorite episode: Vincent and the Doctor. I was surprised that this was well received in general though.

I wanna keep this short, overall the episode was your generic Doctor Who episode. But that ending was crazy. I think Arya (that's what I'm calling her) will play a part in a later episode or season.

I actually liked the whole ep very much! My fav in s9 so far. Funny, Clara was good, the Doctor was good, the village was not too generic a group.

But the "big reveal"... We had been waiting since Capaldi was casted and now this? They better make Ashildr's story worth waiting for !

Not suuuure if I think this was big enough for Moffat's / RTD's big plan with Capaldi's face. Hm. She probably comes back, Ashildr. I mean, she was in the selfie and all...

Also Clara and the Doctor are cuter than ever. I get why Capaldi refuses to have any romance between them (he blames age difference between the actors now) but they LOVE each other so deeply anyways. I mean, he's so dependant on her while she could probably go and live her life without him still. I would wish that if Clara has to go, it happens after she's decided to leave her earthly life behind and travel on the TARDIS full time, like Rose and Donna did. And then something awful happens and she sacrifices herself or something... For sure. Idk. I don't want Clara to go ;;

I mean, they've turned Clara into the most important and special companion ever. She has saved the Doctor in all of his regenerations, she made him choose that specific TARDIS, she talked to him about fear when he was a child, she was there when he realized that he did NOT murder Time Lords/Daleks to end the war. She went through hell on Earth when Danny died, they got a snapshot of what her life could have been if the Doctor hadn't come back for her in Last Christmas, and now she's STILL traveling with him after regeneration. She's his mayfly, but she has been with him for nearly 1000 of his own years (on Trenzalore!) and if she leaves,... Who could EVER be companion enough for him again?
