What were some of the most wild things you've experienced in your Pokemon game playthroughs?
One of the most wild things to ever happen to me was that while I was trying to find a Chansey with a lucky egg, I instead came across TWO shiny Pokemon before getting a Chansey encounter. This was within the same week, too. I was trying to find wild Chansey with a lucky egg in HeartGold to complete my Pokedex. First time I tried finding a Lucky Egg Chansey in the Kanto region, I instead ran into a shiny Nidorino. After that, I went to the Johto Safari Zone. While hunting for Lucky Egg Chansey there, I ran into a Shiny Skiploom! Since shiny odds in gen 4 are 1 in 8,092 I was shocked, especially since a Lucky Egg Chansey has a 5% capability of happening (higher than a shiny, I think). Oh, yeah, that same week, I also find a Shiny Magikarp, too, but in Soul Silver, so not as wild.
Also, what's funny is that I've encountered a shiny from the Nido family about three times in my life. I failed a shiny Nidorina in LeafGreen about 11-12 years ago. Last year, I found a shiny Nidoran F in Liquid Crystal, and, yeah, lmfao, the Nido family shinies just love me, I guess.
Also, today, while hunting for shiny Skwovet, I somehow ran into a shiny Rookidee instead! It reminded me of why I don't shiny hunt, lmfao.
Non-shiny related wild gameplay experiences...let's see..buying a used copy of Diamond that full of cheated/hacked Pokemon. It was very amusing. Getting to the 21st floor in the Battle Pyramid and losing was also pretty wild. That one still stings, tbh.
What about you guys? Any wild/outrageous things happen to you in your Pokemon games? If any of you guys play randomized nuzlockes or something, I'd especially love to hear your most wild Randomizer stories.
