    Chishio was taken aback by the Quilava's sudden announcement. The Pokemon called Avanarti appeared to have some grudge against these humans which were apparently disrupting the islands. Listening to the argument, Chishio understood that Avanarti had a valuable point but his approach to the situation appeared a bit rash and unforgiving. Chishio was not one for conflict. However, she appeared to be the only representative from Doma Island who knew of this oncoming threat.

    "Excuse me," she said with a slight bow to the group. The young Dragonair lifted herself up into the air and begun her return to Doma Island.
    It appeared that the Pokemon were to begin some sort of rebellion against the humans who were to arrive upon the islands. Chishio however was not convinced that their intentions were evil. The neighbouring Quilava and Jolteon however, appeared to have raised a valid point in being cautious around the new inhabitants.
    This isn't going well… the Dragonair thought as she landed upon Doma Island soil. We know nothing about these so-called humans yet we may be in danger if we don't take the necessary precautions…
    Chishio shook her head and raised her wings. Stabling her path of flight, the Dragonair continued to make her way towards the cratered beach within the centre of Doma Island.

    OOC: Um I don't think the Pokemon even know about Pokeballs and the such. How would we know if the islands have been inhabited by Pokemon and Pokemon only (no humans). Plus I don't think that we even know who Team Rocket are. They're just strangers to us.

    "Hmmmm... Wasn´t there a meeting today?" Dyna asked suddenly. "Yup yup." Strike only answered. "I can smell them. They are not far away. Should we go an observe them?" the Pikachu asked. "Yup yup. Just as our tribe want." Dyna answered. They went on their way through the wood. They came very near to the group of Pokemon which seemed to have a conversation started already. "Should we hook up with them?" Strike asked. "Nope, not yet. Let´s hide behind this bush and listen to that they are talking about. Perhaps it´s interesting for our tribe." "Isn´t the mission to meet with these pokemon?" Strike asked wondering. "Yes it is. But you know we are carefull. We watch them, and if everybody seems to be trustworthy, we come out of our hiding. Got it?" "Ah..."

    Hmmm, but do we have here. A Jolteon, a dragonair, a Growlithe and an Arcanine. Ok, that´s the Pocchama Udorn told us. And that Quilava lookes dangerous. I wonder what he is thinking. Dyna thought at first. Then they heared about the humans. "Hey Dyna. They mean this two-legged. I don´t understand that now. Are they our enemy?" "Why do you think that?" "Because they came to our islands with a huge number of them." "You mean it looks like a war or something?" "Who knows?" "C´mon, i don´t think these humans are dangerous Strike. They even have no tail. Why should they be dangerous?" "Dyna, just think about these Pokeballs."

    Dyna made a serious face. Well thats a fact my friend. They have these strange cage-weapons... Let´s just see that we are not be seen now and listen to the others. Perhaps they know more about the human...

    ((OOC: Fair point. But, for the sake of argument, Avanarti was a witness to the first invasion, and thus knows about them. Hope that clears it up.))

    ((Okay, back IC))

    I looked at the Dragonair, sleek and lithe. Yes, I thought, perhaps this is a little too rushed. Excellent. Of course I should have remembered. We mustn't throw ourselves around like I said in my rage. We must be careful: plan, assemble, then strike.

    "Um?" I said quickly. "I take my thoughts back. Our Dragonair friend, though non-vocal about her feelings, gives off a vibe. I was foolish to advertise such wanton violence against the... humans. But, as a witness and close escapee of the first invasion, I WILL suggest some careful planning and defense. I apologize for my hastened rage, but I cannot let my Mum go unavenged. IF these are the same... humans... that involved themselves in that horrid set of hours, we cannot roll over and let them take us over. But, as this Dragonair surely believes, we cannot simply fight them with a smoldering of unyielding elemental downpour. We wait... for them... to make the first move..."

    Chishio flew deeper into the forest of Doma Island, hopefully heading towards the island's cratered beach where many of its inhabitants dwelled. The oncoming threat that Pocchi and the group had been discussing was beginning to worry the young Dragonair.
    Okay, so there have been some human sightings, but that's nothing to really worry about is it? Chishio asked herself as she passed the spring where she had just rested moments ago. That Quilava sure knew a bit about them though…are they really that dangerous?
    Chishio continued along the path through the forest as her mind raced in an attempt to understand her current situation. Beating her wings, the Dragonair sped through the forest as she narrowed her eyes to make out what was ahead of her. Hopefully this path will take me to the inner shoreline and I can th--
    The Dragonair stumbled to a stop as she peered up into the sky. A large orb flew over her head before shattering into pieces across the sky. What th--what is that? she thought as she gazed awestruck at the shattering sphere. I guess I'll find out what it is later, but now, I need to reach the others…
    Resetting her focus on her initial goal, Chishio prepared to continue on her path when another disturbance caught her attention. The sound of rustling leaves and twigs and soft footsteps could be heard. Focusing her attention on the now approaching sounds, Chishio soon realised that their was someone following her.
    Hmm, I can't tell if it's a Pokemon or a human… she thought despairingly. But regardless, I have to keep moving.
    With that, the young Dragonair raised her wings and set off along the path towards the centre of Doma Island, with the hope of losing her pursuer or pursuers on the way.

    ((OOC: Fair point. But, for the sake of argument, Avanarti was a witness to the first invasion, and thus knows about them. Hope that clears it up.))

    OOC: Haha, that's cool. Just wasn't sure how everyone knew about humans :P.

    OOC: Time to clear things up a bit...

    Prince Gryph: Your characters are on Volca Island, while the Rukushio you mentioned is on Silphy Island. You couldn't have possibly seen what the Rukushio was doing, nor could you have seen the Team Rocket members which are also on Silphy Island. After you change those things, your sign up is fine.

    Nigma: There really isn't much on Tidal Island, so hardly any Pokemon live there. It's just a meeting place for the legendaries. But, for now I'll assume your characters are from Volca Island instead (there is a forest there too), since you reached the group there without crossing the ocean. And also, you can have two characters--lots of other people did. So your sign-up is OK, if you're okay with Strike being a NPC.

    *Gee, lots of people are from Volca Island now... And Korinku is the only person who posted who has characters in Silphy Island so far... so I have no clue how Mikey, Bulby, and Boko will react to what Team Rocket will do next...

    IC:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    --Volca Island--
    Pocchi looked up at the glowing energy ball off in the distance, the one that had just split into three and shattered.
    A message of the goddesses? Pocchi guessed. If so, what is the message?
    Then she looked at the rest of the group.
    "I don't completely know, but I'm guessing the legendaries are also aware of whatever's disturbing us. Maybe something's going on on Tidal Island..."
    But most of the other Pokemon weren't looking at Pocchi. Instead they were looking at the volcano in the center of the island. Lots of smoke was spewing from it. A few embers flew from it, but they hit the side of the island opposite where the group was. Whew--the wind was in their favour.
    Meanwhile, a Slowking was walking towards where the group was. She seemed to be curious about the conversation the Pokemon were having, especially since it had to do with the legendaries and the humans that were arriving on the island.
    "Hello," she said politely to the group and bowed. "Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rose, and I live across the way on Doma Island. But I've been listening to the conversation you all had, and my, this quest sounds rather interesting. I think I can be of help in your quest. You see, I've been spying on the humans that arrived here, and I already know a bit about them."
    "Wait--did you say you just came here from Doma Island?" Pocchi asked. "How?"
    The Slowking, instead of answering, turned her back on Pocchi and faced the sea. Then she formed a few spheres of energy around herself and fired them into the sea. Seconds after she did, a Lapras rose up to the surface.
    "May I introduce Lassie," Rose introduced, turning back to face the group. "I think one thing we can do first is hop on and see what is going on elsewhere."
    "I dunno..." Pocchi reacted, "it seems pretty safe here, with no humans you speak of..."
    "But not with that volcano," Rose noted. "From the way it's been acting lately, I think it's gonna blow soon enough. The very least we can do is evacuate this island, just to be safe."
    "Yes, hop on if you're interested," Lassie offered. She and Rose awaited a response from the others.
    --Silphy Island--
    "A Rukushio!" Jessie noticed. "Go on, Seviper, let's catch it!"
    "Umm," James interrupted, "don't you think it's a little..."
    "Of course not!" Jessie cut him off. "Seviper, use Poison Tail!"
    Seviper jumped out at Ruku, then lashed out her tail. Ruku jumped to dodge the attack. Then Ruku fired a Spark attack in response, but Seviper blocked the attack with her tail. This seemed to be (almost) an even match...
    Meanwhile, the other Pokemon prepared for battle as well. All except Meowth that is--he just hopped back into the submarine as if to guard it.
    "Inspector to commander," the same voice on the radio spoke. Jessie got a cross look on her face and threw the radio to James.
    "You answer it, I'm in a battle here," Jessie muttered.
    "Commander to Inspector," James answered. "What is it?"
    "Jester again. Oh, James that's you. I'm still on patrol on Doma. I've been trying to catch this Dragonair there, but it's been just slipping out of my sight... Now, the Dragonair just went to Volca Island and then back here. Its driving me nuts! Now it's headed towards the centre of the island."
    "Ooh, a Dragonair, how pretty. Do you need any help?"
    "Umm, I would appreciate it..."
    "I'll send backup then." James then went to phone a couple other Rockets.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    OOC: For those of you with characters on Silphy Island: You may now battle Jessie/James' Pokemon. Just pick either Cacnea, Mime Jr, Chimecho, or Wobbuffet. Ruku doesn't get to choose--he's already in a battle with Seviper. Also, don't make Jessie and James "blast off", nor battle more than one Pokemon (even if you already beat one).

    Toomi: OK, you have more Rockets after you. Just letting you know.

    **Rose and Lassie are NPC's I just created. You can control them for a while if you want.

    Boko wiated for sometime behind the bush. peeking over the bush he notices that the trainer had either gotten boar d with him or just couldn't keep up. seeing as the coast was clear he decides to continue to walk, not really nowing where to go know. "humans on the island, thats bad." he thinks to himself. "i have to warn anyone and everyone i see." he concludes and starts to run towards a thicker part of the forest, only stoping to see a Rukushio being attacked by a humans seviper. "oh man what should i do know." he thinks to himself. "hey Rukushio you need some help." he yells to the Rukushio.

    [( Well, seeing as no one else is wanting to post...^^' Sorry for the short-ness.)]

    Jolteon's mind was already convinced. She'd rather go out to Lassie than to be around this active volcano for any longer. She looked about at the other Pokemon.

    "I suggest we leave. Unless you can withstand the agonizing heat and melting sensation of lava." She stated simply. With that, she began to make her way towards the Lapras on her slight limp. She went to an outcropping of rock just to the side of the Laprass, and tenderly jumped down onto Lassie's back. There she sat after greeting Lassie, and looked back to the others further up shore. She wanted to see how many of them would come.

    Jamison stared at the volcano, then at Lassie, then the volcano again, then Lassie. Volcano,Lassie,Volcano,Lassie,Volcano.... Jamison saw a small ember hit this side.
    "I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming!" Jamison said then ran over toward Lassie. He stood on Lassie's head for a brief moment, being so light he wouldn't disturb her. "Trouble on Silphy Island. I see... A big snake fighting a small blue and yellow Pokemon, the yellow one has a dark gray mane. I've heard of those... It's a Rukushio! I think we might need to go to Silphy Island." Jamison noticed nobody was listening, so he stopped talking.

    As Ruku heard someone call to him he looked around and saw a scyther. Letting his guard down, Ruku was hit by a poison tail but wasn't poisoned. "Uh, sure yea I would really appreciate it." Replied Ruku to the scyther. As Kory saw his older brother get attacked by those people, he jumped out of the grass and stood in front of his brother in a protective stance. "Bro are you all right?" Asked Kory. "Ye-yes i'm fine...are, are you going to fight?" Asked Ruku. Kory looked at Ruku and nodded. "But I thought you didn't like to fight." "yea but I don't care anymore, my brother was just now hurt." Kory jumped forward towards the seviper and used spark. smoke started coming up because of the attack. Ruku stood looking into the smoke, hoping that his little brother was okay.

    Flare jumps down from his rock, standing next to his pup. Looking around at the group who has yet to reply, he looks at Blu.
    "Well Papa? What should we do?" inquired Blu.
    "I'm not sure. But for now I think we should trust this Slowking and Lapras." he said to his daughter. Oh, which reminds me... Do you expect to carry us all?" he asked Lassie.

    Ninetales: That's not mini-modding, it's a sure-fire way of not getting your roleplay warned. ^^ If you tell your RPer's four lines minimum, I don't have to come here and post for you. xD So good job on avoiding a warn, but if you'll excuse me while I mini-mod your thread,

    Kaishen, four lines minimum, on Blue Variant or Winter Friends layout please.

    [/The thread's not warned, because I didn't give you -Ninetales- a chance to tell him about it. I just thought I'd say it since I'm doing my check-ups.]

    Pokehunter56: You heard what Bijou said. Your last post was only three lines. I will not have this RPG locked because of short posters--it's unfair to all the people who joined. But I won't ban you from the RPG for now--as all your other posts were okay. I don't blame you for putting a short post--there was really not much for you to do there besides watch the smoke. But if you can't post something the correct length, it's better to wait...

    Kaishen: I don't know what Bijou's talking about--your post was just barely four lines. And this is on a 15" computer screen. Maybe on a bigger screen it looks like three lines...

    --Off the coast of Volca Island--

    "Oh sure," Lassie said to the young Growlithe. "I can handle anyone who's lighter than me. And if I have problems holding you up, Rosie here can use telekinesis to prevent me from sinking. Right, Rosie?"
    The Slowbro nodded and hopped onto Lassie's back, after everyone who wanted to come got on. After she did, the Lapras started to sink.
    "Whoa..." Rosie noticed. Then she used her Psychic attack on Lassie, holding her up right on the water's surface.
    "Oh, don't worry about moving me forward," Lassie said to Rosie. She had an instinct to turn her head, but she feared that doing so would startle the Torchic sitting atop it.
    "That's what my flippers are for. Well anyways, to Silphy Island it is."
    With that, Lassie started to move forward. It took her a while and quite a bit of effort because of the extra weight.

    "Need help?" Pocchi asked. But she didn't wait for a response--she just jumped off of Lassie's back and saw behind her. Then she started to push the Lapras from behind.
    "Careful, that tickles..." Lapras commented. "You're too much, Pocchama. Really."

    Within a few moments, Lapras was finally moving at a good pace. Once she was, Pocchi stopped paddling her way forward for a while. Then she quickly swam forward and jumped out of the water, landing back on Lassie's back.

    --Doma Island--

    A Team Rocket member with fiery red hair was walking through the small forest on Doma Island. He was holding what looked like a remote control with a squiggly antenna attached to it, which had an attached sphere that occasionally lit up and turned off again. A Weavile walked beside him.

    The Rocket and his Weavile continued walking, weaving around trees and rustling leaves in their path. As they did so, the remote control started to flash on and off at a faster pace. It also let out a soft beep.
    "Shhhh..." the Rocket whispered to his Weavile. The two started to walk more slowly, and more quietly as well. They were careful not to step on any twigs out of fear of snapping them. They tried not to step on piles of fallen leaves. They ducked under leafy branches. They kept an eye out for each other as well as what was ahead.

    A while later, they saw it. A Dragonair was flying through the forest not too far ahead. The Rocket was so excited at this that he instinctively moved towards it. As he did, he bumped into a small branch. This didn't hurt him, but it made a sound of rustling leaves which the Dragonair clearly heard. The Rocket saw the Dragonair turning her head and quickly ducked to avoid being seen.

    A second or two later, Chishio continued flying, towards a lighter spot that the Rocket recognized as the giant water-filled crater in the centre of the island. The Rocket could still see her though, and her beatiful tail orbs behind.
    Bingo. Jester has come to town.
    The Rocket named Jester then pulled out some sort of gun and shot it at the Dragonair. Instead of a net or bullet, it fired a thick metal cord with a claw attached. This claw grabbed hold of Chishio's tail, right in front of the two orbs on it. Jester snickered with satisfaction as he made to reel the Dragonair in. His Weavile stood beside him and eyed Chishio as well.

    --Silphy Island--

    When the smoke cleared, Kory and Seviper could be clearly seen. When the Korinku attacked with Spark, he had hit Seviper in the tail. This had not caused too much damage, but Seviper was paralyzed.

    James saw that none of the other Pokemon were being attacked. He also saw that a Scyther had arrived on the scene as well, assuming a fighting stance.
    "Come on Cacnea and Mime Jr," James commanded, "let's help Jessie out. Mime Jr, use Confusion on the Rukushio! Cacnea, use Pin... owww!"
    Cacnea started hugging James as he usually did at the start of a battle, piercing poor James with the needles on his body. At least Mime Jr. did what he was told, so he threw Ruku up into the air with his psychic powers. When Ruku fell back down, he caught him in his control again, twisting and turning him around for a while before finally dropping him.

    "Come... on..." James managed to pull Cacnea out of his embrace. Then he threw the Pokemon towards Scyther.
    "Do it right this time! Pin Missile!"
    "Cac-nea!"
    Cacnea flew towards Boko while firing a wave of spikes at him. He directed most of them to the parts of his legs that were the least armoured, and the rest to his wings and chest.

    "Hey," Jessie noticed, "look, there's that Lapras!"
    "You focus on the Lapras, I'll focus on the battle," James snapped without turning around.
    Sure enough, Lassie and the Pokemon on her were getting close to Silphy Island, and were just about to land there.

    --Tidal Island--

    "Be safe, soulful inhabitants of this island." Isix hoped for the Pokemon's well-being on the islands. She and the other two legendaries watched the orb they had just created split into three and shatter over the other islands.
    "So now our meeting is over," Lustre concluded, closing her eyes afterward. Gold? Frankincense? Myrrh?
    Three Alakazam teleported onto the island behind the legendaries, having heard Lustre's telepathic call. The one named Gold telekinetically lifted Lustre up and turned her around to face them.
    "Where are you planning to go?" Shakahani asked. These were the Alakazam that transported the immobile Lustre from place to place.
    "I suggest that we return to the islands now," Lustre explained.
    "That is a good idea," the Alakazam named Frankincense commented. "There is trouble in the islands. Look over there--Mt. Kito is erupting! Look over there--a bunch of humans and Pokemon are gathered on Silphy Island, and they don't seem to be in a happy mood. Look over there--there is a distressed Pokemon on Doma Island."
    "You are wise, my friend," Lustre complimented. "Well, why don't you take me to the beach on Doma Island?"
    Frankincense nodded. Within a second, he and Lustre had vanished.

    The other two Alakazam looked at each other, seeming slightly surprised.
    "Why'd she only want Frankincense to go?" Myrrh asked incredulously.
    "I suppose there is some reason..." Gold figured.
    "Doma Island?" Shakahani clarified. Ah, I see what she's doing. Myrrh, why don't you come with me to Volca Island? Don't bother teleporting--just ride on my back."
    With that, Shakahani slid back into the water, and Myrrh climbed on her back. The two headed for Volca Island, to the exact spot from which Lassie had departed. In the distance, the volcano in the center of Volca Island was spewing lava everywhere, but Shakahani came prepared by using Safeguard to pretect herself and the Alakazam riding on her.

    "Just watch out for the lava," Isix commented. Then she turned to the remaining Alakazam.
    "Well, Gold, I guess that leaves Silphy Island. Let's go check out what's going on near the shore."
    "Isix, O fiery one," Gold said to the sunset-feathered phoenix, "would you be so kind as to tell me anything you know about the troubles that befall these islands now?"
    "We suspect it's the humans, but we don't know of the intensity of the threat they pose. We'd be overreacting if we were to just kick them out of this place. That would disrespect the divine order itself. First we must see if we can get to know them better, and maybe work out something. I'm sure they would love to meet us anyways."
    Gold frowned at what Isix said.
    "Hmmm... It might work, but let's not take too many chances. A being of less holy responsibility, such as myself and my kin, can protect you if needed be."
    Isix nodded.
    "I know of your powers, wise one."

    Isix and Gold contemplated what each other had said for the next few moments. It was quite a while before Gold mounted Isix, who began to fly towards Silphy Island.

    --Doma Island again--

    Lustre and Frankincense suddenly appeared on the beach facing the crater in the middle of Doma Island.
    "The trouble I am sensing is coming from over there," the Alakazam noted, pointing the spoon in his hand at the forest nearby.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    OOC: Lassie and the Pokemon from Volca Island are arriving at Silphy Island now, but Isix and Gold are still pretty far away. You won't be able to see those two at this point.
    And the forest indicated at the end of this post is the one Chishio is in.
    **For those of you from Volca Island who have not posted recently, the group is on Lassie now and is approaching Silphy Island. If you still want to join them, just assume you are already on Lassie. If you don't, just stay on Volca Island (if you stay, you risk getting burnt, but you get to be visited by Shakahani).
    Jolteon sat there near Lassies' neck, closing her eyes as she gently inhaled. Sure, everything seemed a bit stressful and tinged with anticipation, but she wanted to have a clear mind. The other Pokemons' chatter slid in and out of her focus. It did not necissarily include her, so it didn't matter. As Silphy Island drew more and more near, she couldn't help but feel a bit of excitement.
    Nothing never seemed to happen on these islands--and now, at last, there was. Though it may be dangerous and maybe even irratating from their almost lazy lifestyle, it was something new.
    Chishio felt the grasp of something cold and hard grip her newly shed skin. It was painful and it dug around the jewels detailing her slender tail as holsters to secure her to her position. Turning her head, she looked back through the forest to see where the sudden apparatus had derived from.
    It's a…it's a human? the Dragonair thought as she struggled against her captor. Oh no, he's pulling…me…in…
    Chishio struggled against the man's device that had captured her. She had no intention of being caught, at least not until she had warned the other Pokemon.
    I'm so close! she thought as she tugged against the man's bonds. I have to warn the others before it's too late!
    The sound of rushed footsteps caught her attention as she continued her struggle against her captor. Opening her eyes, she saw another Pokemon rushing towards her. It was a Weavile, but it didn't appear to be content in helping her escape. It seemed more like its intention was to prevent her from escaping. She then realised she had no choice. She had to escape regardless, even if it meant fighting back.
    For the good of the other Pokemon I must do this… she reassured herself as she turned to face her active pursuers. Okay, here I go!
    The Dragonair shifted all of her strength into her torso in order to gather enough energy to initiate an attack. Seeing the Dragonair's sudden movement, the Weavile leapt back and raised its claws. The human also stopped his attempt in reeling the Pokemon in as he watched the dragon create a large orb of fluorescent energy at the tip of her mouth. Stretching as far back as she could manage in her position, Chishio closed her eyes before propelling her head forward in the direction of the human and his accompanying Weavile to unleash her attack. A static stream of concentrated energy shot from the Dragonair's mouth and headed straight for the two pursuers, severing the cable that tied the device to her tail on its path. The human and Weavile easily dodged the attack but lost sight of the Pokemon as it escaped in the wake of its own attack.
    Tearing through the forest at the fastest speed she could manage, Chishio flew towards her goal within the island's centre. She was not about to give up on her cause to warn the other Pokemon and she soon realised that she would have to fight regardless of her opinion on the matter. The invading humans and accompanying Pokemon appeared to be holding no restraint against the island's Pokemon. She and a few others were the only ones who new of the oncoming threat, and it was now up to them to help save their homes.
    Jamison was watching what the two Rockets were doing. Apparently the female was going to try to capture the group of Pokemon on Lassie's back. He looked at the Pokemon, and thought up something.
    "Now, I think right when we land, we'll be facing those people's Pokemon. I want you in a defensive position, or an offensive one. Either way, we'll need to hold our ground. If we won't be able to make it out uncaptured, then we'll set up a last stand and try taking them down with us. We're about to land, so get ready!" Jamison, for some reason, took up an offensive position. Apparently he didn't think he was too small to take anything three times his size. He didn't turn around, but said one last thing.
    "Victory comes to the ones willing to get it!"
    I stared at the active volcano, keeping a firm stand on my position. "Leave me if you want," I said stiffly. "I'm a Fire type. I can handle the heat. Besides, if I fall in the water, I'm good as dead. I will remain here and try to gather some forces to defend Volca Island. Besides, I think you need to take much of the group over on Lassie anyway. We're not all Fire-types that live on Volca, you know. I won't have a problem gathering the troops together.
    As I looked at the rest of the group. I gave them all a half-smirk and nodded. "What, you just expected me to abandon my home? No, thank you; I'll take my chances here and not risk the unforgiving oceans."
    "I have heard enough. What do you think?" Dyna asked. "Well let´s get it rollin." the Pikachu answered. Perhaps they shouldn´t have said that outloud, because it was probably possible to hear both. But now they didn´t mind if they were seen or not. They jumped out of their hidings and started to dash towards the next meeting point from their tribe. For sure some of the other pokemon could hear them, but now it was up to them to inform the tribe about the happenings on the islands. "Dyna! Shouldn´t we just invite the other pokemon to fight with us?" "I don´t think they would join. Even if they had a plan to get rid of this humans, they seem to be some kind of lone fighters. They surely won´t accept us both in their team or something else. So don´t think about it..." the Raichu answered. For sure he didn´t know what kind of pokemon that were, but he hadn´t have enough time to figure out every detail. That what he had heard and seen was enough to mobilize the tribe.
    OOC: Sorry about the long wait...
    IC:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    --Volca Island--

    There was a Pikachu, Raichu, and Quilava that had decided to stay on Volca Island, and were beginning to formulate a plan to defend the other Pokemon on the island from the erupting volcano and from any Rockets that might be approaching. Around the island, embers and lava spurts rained down, and a thick aroma of smoke filled the area. On the volcano, there was an avalanche of fiery rocks, and a thick black smoke was descending on the surrounding area. However, this area was in the centre of the island, nowhere near where the Quilava was standing.

    Seconds later, a stray ember flew out into a forest near the coast of the island, setting a tree on fire. This fire began to spread, until it engulfed a few other trees in flame. Pokemon cries could be heard all over the island--whether they were Geodude upset from their sleep by falling rocks, Spearow fleeing from their burning homes in the forest, or water Pokemon rushing to the sea to escape. There were lots of Pokemon running or flying all over the island, some in a panic.

    Not too far away from where Avanarti was standing, a geyser shot out from a crack in the rocks--right underneath where a Vulpix was standing. The Vulpix cried out as she was shot into the air, drenched with boiling water. Then she fell to the ground, shaking herself off and wincing at the burns caused by the heat of the water. Such burns were some of the only burns possible with a fire Pokemon such as this Vulpix. It was a tough time in Volca Island, but these kinds of eruptions did periodically happen (though they were often a couple of months apart at least).

    All of a sudden, a couple of Squirtle that had fled the island landed back on the shore again, jubilantly running towards any Pokemon they could find. The first ones they spotted were Avanarti and the burnt Vulpix.
    "Guys, you won't believe this!" one of the Squirtle announced excitedly. "Shakahani's coming!"
    The two fire Pokemon looked at each other, and Vulpix looked rather surprised.
    "Here?" asked the Vulpix. "But why?"
    But by the time she finished her question, the Squirtle had run off again, spreading the word further. One of them got hit by an ember from the volcano, but kept going to continue this announcement.

    A wave of cool water washed ashore, drenching the Vulpix and narrowly missing the Quilava sitting there. Normal ocean waves never washed up on the hot springs unless they were tidal waves... And if this was a tidal wave, the Pokemon would have been able to foresee it by noticing the ocean receding (which it didn't). Even more mysteriously, after the wave splashed on the hot rocks, it seemed to glitter amongst the steam and the smoke. And after all was done, the Vulpix noticed that her burns were healed.

    A large shadow passed over the two fire Pokemon. Some of the Pokemon in the vicinity looked up, to see Shakahani floating there, surrounded by a blue glow. Those who were further away could see an Alakazam riding on her.
    "Halt!" shouted the Alakazam. He held his hand out and pointed the spoon towards the falling rocks on the side of the volcano. All at once they stopped mid-fall, then crumbled down into dirt and fell gracefully on the sides of the volcano. Stray lava that flew out was directed to areas containing no Pokemon and fell to the ground like large raindrops.

    Shakahani flapped her fins and glowed green. As she did so, the Alakazam teleported and reappeared on the ground, near Avanarti and the Vulpix. He was still focused on Shakahani though, still using his Psychic attack to hold her up in the air. Meanwhile, any lava rocks that fell on or near Shakahani shattered and seemed to vanish into thin air. The Alakazam kept moving Shakahani around, to an area that seemed to contain more Pokemon.

    Seconds later, Shakahani squirted a stream of water at the burning forest to extinguish it. The flames in the forest fizzled out into nothingness, and the trees and ground were dripping wet afterwards. After doing this, she squirted a second stream of water into a lava pool near the top of the volcano. Steam spewed out everywhere, but the lava hardened and became plain rock. Then Shakahani landed in the pool of water she had made.

    "It is curious that Mt. Kito is behaving like this at this time," said the Alakazam, after releasing Shakahani from his psychic control.
    "So you work for Shakahani then?" asked the Vulpix.
    "Lustre, actually--these special times call for special missions," the Alakazam answered. "I'm glad you are all okay... mostly in the least. You probably don't like being wet, don't you... Well, I'm mainly here to help ensure the safety of everyone here during this eruption, as is of course Shakahani. Anyways, may I introduce myself as Myrrh. And who might these precious Volca citizens be?"
    "Umm, I'm Vixen," said the Vulpix.

    --Doma Island--

    On the cratered beach in the centre of Doma Island, there were several Pokemon relaxing amidst its gentle waves, cut off from the rip and roar of the surrounding ocean. A group of Krabby wrestled with their pincers. A few Sunkern and Oddish gathered together to gossip. A Dratini sat and watched the Wingull circling above. And some Seel in the water played catch with a curious-looking red and white ball.

    All was light and happy--until all of a sudden, Lustre and Frankincense the Alakazam appeared on the beach amongst all the Pokemon. Most Pokemon that noticed this froze.
    "Er-hem," Lustre began. "Greetings, Doma Island citizens. For those of you who don't know me, I am Lustre, the main guardian of Silphy Island. Why am I here, you ask? I would really hate to disrupt your playtime, but strange creatures called humans have been coming to the islands recently."
    "Oh, so that's what they are," said one of the Oddish. "We've just been talking about some weird two-legged creature that was wandering about. He didn't look at all like he could have been a Pokemon."
    "Yes... Currently not even I know exactly why the humans are here. They don't seem to be causing too much trouble, but I've talked it over with the other guardians, and we've decided we should not let our guard down, just in case. For all we know, they might be a threat, but it's probably not a good idea to just kick them off the islands. There's also the chance that they're just explorers, just wanting to know what's here. There was even a couple of humans on Silphy Island that decided to engage in a friendly battle with some of the civilians."

    "Battle?" asked one of the Krabby. "You mean they can battle too? How?"
    Lustre laughed sweetly. "They don't battle by themselves. They seem to befriend Pokemon, then have them battle. Maybe, in the land where the humans live, they have Pokemon as companions."
    "You mean like friends?" asked the Dratini. It was a hard concept to imagine.
    "Yeah..." a Sunkern commented. "Come to think of it, recently I thought I saw a human walking around with a strange Pokemon he called 'Weavile'. I've never seen a Weavile before..."
    "Maybe they live on one of the other islands," Dratini guessed.
    "Weavile... I've never seen one either. Maybe they don't live anywhere around here--maybe they live only where the humans live."

    "One thing we also know," Frankincense added while watching the unattentive group of Seel, "is that humans usually keep Pokemon in these contraptions called Pokeballs. They look like... Hey! You there!"
    Frankincense saw one of the Seel throw the red-and-white ball into the air. The group of Seel looked back at him, some of who were surprised to see Lustre there.
    "That ball, the red and white one you were playing with," Frankincense called out to the Seel group. "Could I borrow it for a minute?"
    "Hey, just because you work with Lustre doesn't mean you have the power to get anything you want!" one of the Seel shouted.
    "Would it matter if that ball was potentially dangerous?" Frankincense noted.
    The Seel that made the previous remark frowned at the Alakazam in disbelief, and another held the ball and looked at Lustre in surprise.
    "Please," Lustre said in a calm voice, "there are things about that ball that involve a curious arrival by the humans. You may have it back after we are done discussing it, which shall be shortly."
    "Okay..." the Seel holding the ball obeyed, diving underwater and resurfacing at the shore.

    Frankincense telekinetically carried the ball closer, and balanced it in the spoon in his hand.
    "This," Frankincense indicated, "is a Pokeball. Notice how it opens..."
    He tapped the top of the Pokeball with the other spoon, and it opened.
    "Usually, there's a ball of red energy that comes out and materializes into a Pokemon. When a person wants the Pokemon back in the Pokeball, he or she holds the ball out..."
    Frankincense held the other spoon on top of the Pokeball, so that both spoons were holding it in place.
    "...the small round window in the front emits a red laser beam. This beam turns the Pokemon back into the red energy mass, which goes back inside the Pokeball through the window."
    "What's it like inside a Pokeball?" the Dratini asked.
    "Well, I..." Frankincense started--but he was interrupted...

    Just then, a few peculiar sounds came from the forest. A cry that sounded like it came from a Dragonair. An explosion. A metal object breaking. A Weavile shouting. Another Dragonair cry. Rustling leaves.

    This may have been the disturbance I sensed earlier, Frankincense thought, as he and many of the other Pokemon watched the forest in anticipation of what would happen next...

    --Silphy Island--

    "All aboard!" Lassie announced--she was now resting on the beaches of Silphy Island. Only a few feet away were the two Rockets and the bunch of Pokemon sitting there or engaging in battle.
    "Whoa, look, a battle!" Pocchi noticed as she and many of the other Pokemon dismounted Lassie and wandered onto the sandy shore. Pocchi then started walking cautiously towards a Wobbuffet that was standing there doing nothing.

    "Scy!" Meanwhile, Boko the Scyther blocked Cacnea's Pin Missile attack with his scythed claws. Then he prepared to slash at the Cacnea.
    "Cac!" Cacnea jumped to avoid Boko's attack.
    "Use Leech Seed!" James commaded.
    "Cac-nea!" Cacnea then shot a single seed at the Scyther who was steadying himself again. But before he knew it, the seed hit him in the shoulder and sprouted. Thin vines began to wrap around Boko's body.
    "Scy..." Boko knew what to do. He started extending his claws, making to cut the vines apart.
    "Oh no you don't," James threatened. "Use Stun Spore!"
    Boko only had time to cut a few vines apart before a strange powder blew over him, paralyzing him in an instant. The rest of the vines continued wrapping around him like mummy bandages, till the trapped Scyther fell to the ground.

    "Hello there," Pocchi said to the Wobbuffet. "Could you tell me what's going on here?"
    "Um..." said the Wobbuffet, scratching his head as he spoke, "I'm not really sure... I don't know why everybody's... battling..."
    "Do you know these humans?" Pocchi asked. "Or do you just live here?"
    "I, um... live here..." the Wobbuffet answered.
    "THAT WOBBUFFET IS A LIAR!" Boko shouted from the flurry of vines. "OF COURSE HE'S WITH THE HUMANS!"

    "Okay Seviper, use Haze!" Jessie commanded. Seviper sprayed smoke from her mouth, shrouding herself, Ruku, Kory, Boko, Cacnea, and James in it so that they couldn't be seen. But a few seconds later, Jessie became visible again--she was walking towards Wobbuffet, getting a cross look of her face when she spotted the Pocchama he was talking to.
    "Wobbuffet!" Jessie shouted. "Why are you socializing at a time like this? Why don't you battle like everyone else?"
    "Wobba...?" Wobbuffet looked confused--he didn't know any attacking moves! He and Pocchi just stood there, staring off into space. Jessie shook her head in shame.
    "Ohh, why me..." Then she turned to Chimecho, who was floating around to keep his guard.
    "Well, why don't YOU help out?" Jessie asked Chimecho, in her usual harsh voice.
    "Watch it, Jessie!" said James' voice from the smoke. Soon after, he emerged as well, holding a Pokeball in his hand. "Don't do anything to harm my darling little Chimecho! I'll take things from here!"
    Jessie turned to look at James.
    "Oh, and by the way, I got the Scyther as well," James continued in more of a whisper, so only Jessie and Chimecho could hear. "And Mime Jr. and Cacnea are handling things by themselves with the Rukushio. If you hear them cheering, it means Rukushio's down too. If they're complaining, the poor things, it means they fainted..."
    "Oh, excellent!" Jessie said with a giggle. "Now, I think we should take care of these other Po..."
    "Careful, not so fast!" James interrupted. Again, he whispered to Jessie. "We can't just barge in and attack them. They outnumber us! I think we should try to gain the Pokemon's trust first, then surprise them at the last minute--that sort of thing. We shouldn't be so violent about this--that's why we just kept on blasting off before!"
    Jessie said nothing--she just frowned.
    "If you really want to fight," James continued, "why don't you help out Cacnea and Mime Jr and Seviper?"
    "Oh, all right..." Jessie grumbled, heading back into the haze.

    James walked over and sat next to Wobbuffet. Chimecho accompanied him.
    "Hello," James introduced. "Don't mind Jessie--she's just--a little aggressive. We're just here to visit--to find out what's here. Really, I didn't even know these islands existed until a few days ago!"
    <"Yeah,"> Chimecho agreed. <"it really is a neat place. You guys really are lucky to be living here in peace.">
    <"You should see Volca Island,"> Pocchi suggested. <"Right now the volcano on it's erupting, but there are these really nice hot springs there--I find them really relaxing.">
    As Pocchi spoke, she had a hard time keeping her eyes off of James. She had never seen a human before. And, she remembered a conversation the Pokemon had back on Volca Island. One particular Quilava was not pleased with the humans at all, and had rambled on about how dangerous they were. But this one seemed at least to be friendly... Pocchi was confused. Uncertain, she quickly turned around to ask Rosie and Lassie about it.
    "Rosie? Lassie? Do you..." Pocchi stopped short when she saw that Rosie and Lassie had disappeared... Everyone that was previously on Lassie's back was now on the beach as well. Anyways, Pocchi turned back to Chimecho and shrugged.
    "Never mind."

    OOC: Yeah, not something I'd normally have Team Rocket do, huh?

    -Heh, Chishio could find quite a bit of a surprise when she gets to the beach...
    -Blizzard... it seems you are the only person with a Pokemon that has met Shakahani. Now, Shakahani knows about the humans, but doesn't currently know their purpose here. Myrrh is the same way. Keep that in mind if you want to talk to him. (Myrrh is kind of a NPC, so you can)
    -I am not posing any limits on what the Pokemon on Silphy Island can do at this point (this includes the new arrivals). Battle, talk, whatever.
    -The reason why I'm bunnying Boko is because Pokehunter56 left the RPG. I won't kill him off or anything, but he will still play a role in this RPG...

    --Current NPC's:
    -Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh (the Alakazam that are now with the legendaries on each island)
    -Vixen (the Vulpix that is now with Avanarti and Myrrh on Volca Island)
    -Everyone on the Doma Island Beach except Lustre
    **Note that Rosie and Lassie aren't on the list, because they have other things to do...
