Will Pokemon End?

They rake in so much profit from the games, even if they did cancel the anime, the games would most likely continue.
 
I don't think generation V will be the last generation, because GameFreak and Nintendo win a lot of money. But if gen V is the last one, I hope they end the Pokémon series with a remake of RSE or a ultimate edition (with all regions).

Okay, I get what you mean. But the Anime isn't really has to end while the Game is still on. Cause the Anime is telling us what Satoshi Tajiri like when he was a kid a.k.a Ash (Satoshi in Japan).

They eventually will have to end it, mainly because they are running out of ideas. I think they are at their breaking point with creating new pokemon. Just look at Munna. Pretty poor thinking in my opinion.
 
*Everything that has a beginning has an end Neo* Just kidding lol I just watched that movie with my friend, I'm a little jacked up on energy drinks :). My awnser is pokemon will end when the earth does.

Like I Think It Would Be Cool If Not Only Can We Call A Pokemon In Battle But Outside Of Battle Also.Like Say I Am Strolling Thru A City.GO EMPOLEON And Bam Then Empoleon Comes Out And Follows Me.If They Could Do It For Pokemon Yellow Way Way Back.You Know They Can Do It Now With How Far Graphics Have come.

I am thinking of going into the video game making career, & I have plenty of ideas for Pokemon...
& I'm for sure will listen to the populace on what they want to see on the pokemon game. (especially the more loyal fans.)
& I have many ideas for other games as well.

Running "Out of Ideas"!? Hmm....Maybe. I don't know what to say either. But about that Munna, You seems have a point there. Why'd they have to put an Old design to the New one anyway.

On that "People think 4th gen is the End", I don't know anything about that. But maybe those who says 5th gen is gonna be the end will come to be false. MAYBE...

Who's to say it's an old design? For all we know Munna could be a completely new idea, and made to reference Gen 1,

You can't honestly think that. I assure Pokemon will be alive and well 3 years from now. GF would have to screw up and make BW remarkably bad. Really, just don't worry about it. I'm a bit confused as to how this thread has managed to stay alive, the same things are being said over and over.

Eh, you never know with Pokémon.

There really hope they don't go too far.... Yet I hope they do a few remakes of a couple of older generation games.
 
Hmm, unfortunately, everything has to come at end sometime. Though I doubt Pokemon will end anytime soon. It rakes in way too much money to end it!

I think even if they completely ran out of ideas for Pokemon, people would still buy new games, it's like they trap you! xD
 
I seriously doubt they're running out of ideas. The world has enough animals and concepts to keep 'em coming for the next hundred years, I'm sure. It will only end when it ceases to be profitable, or if something unexpected happens. I get the feeling it's like the world ending in Y2K or 2012. People expect it to happen so much sooner than it probably will, but there's a chance of it happening at any point.
 
Pokemon has been a huge cash cow for about 15 years and is still going strong, theyll keep cranking them out as long as we keep playing them
 
I personally think that the original trainer pokemon games will end after the remake of pokemon Black/White.
It had a good run, but then again, all good things must come to an end. Plus, even though it has already been stated, i don't really think Gamefreak is putting their whole heart into pokemon.

I do think it would be better if the pokemon OT games ended after the fifth generation, but they should still carry on bringing out spin-offs of pokemon I.e:Pokemon Ranger, Mystery dungeon ect..

You're right. GF can't...No, I mean GF shouldn't depend on Pokemon forever. I know this might sounds weird but, This is totally a Great promise. I'm gonna make my own Game/Anime on GF. Seriously!
 
Pokémon has plenty of generations left in it. From what I heard, there were over 1000 original Pokémon designs before the release of RGBY, along with the new ideas coming out, Pokémon is not going to end until we probably have well over 1000 total Pokémon.

Well, If Nintendo and GF can accept that. Then yes. Satoshi may be replace. But as a creator, They must show responsibility to their makes. Also a discipline person. It can never be that easily for the original Creator being replaced. That's what I think.

Maybe you're kinda right. About that 1.000 Arts they have. I bet they're gonna use it back and maybe a bit remaking it.

Maybe. But Mario and Pokemon can't be the same ever. They're totally different to me. We just have to see. Which one is going to end sooner. Pokemon? Or Mario?

What do you mean by Tajiri being "replaced"? If you're talking about him being replaced as the main director, that already happened once RSE started. If your talking about him being replaced as the founder, that's literally impossible. Pokemon's already been created, you can't replace a creator as the new creator. Are you maybe talking about someone replacing him as the producer, the guy who just handles the money involved with the project? That's all Tajiri even does anymore, so if someone else became the producer he would really be doing nothing.
