    ...No, this isn't a thread about the Pokemon, as cute as it is, this is instead a thread about the music of the Fourth Generation!

    This is a thread where you can post and/or mention your favourite music tracks from the Fourth Gen games and comment on why you like it. Feel free to discuss your choices between each other, and don't be afraid to post more than 1 song~!

    Be sure to have fun and to rejoice in Cynthia's before battle theme!
     
    I really enjoyed Sandgem Town's music, as it would always make me feel calm whenever I listened. Another of my favorites is Cynthia's theme; it's pretty epic, haha.
     
    Sinnoh has a lot of great tunes. I like all the legendary battle music for that region.
    I like the fact that the music changes depending on the time. One memorable theme for me would be the Hearthome City theme, especially at night. It is calming and makes me feel relaxed.

    And of course, Cynthia. o/

    This is probably the reason as to why I always found myself flying to Sandgem Town. The music is so calming and just soothing, so I always fly there to heal my Pokemon for whatever reason.

    I personally liked the Lakefront themes when you walk into the three lakes. It too was calming, but it also had a sense of beauty, like it was nature's harmony. Made the journey to catch the 2 stationary lake guardians a lot more enjoyable, if I may say so. :p

    Honourable mentions to the Distortion World for perfectly suiting the location. The strange sounds within the track makes the Distortion World what it is: a disturbing, backwards world that we didn't even know existed, and to the Frontier Brain theme for being blood pumping and excitable music, perfect for a battle against someone that's basically on par with the Elite Four.
     
    Cynthia's theme was amazing. I really liked the Gym Leader themes too. I didn't particularly fall in love with all of the city soundtracks, but I can't deny that they're not pleasant to the eye. ;]
     
    Actually, despite claiming to love the original tunes of Kanto, the mysterious notes of Johto and the trumpets of Hoenn, and despite Gen 4 having the games I have played the absolute least (!), it's somehow the music from Sinnoh I think is the most thrilling. I really don't know why. I love the title soundtrack and most route music, don't love the battle tunes as much I suppose though. I mean, even Route 201 is nice in my ears! The early-route tunes are never very great haha, but this one is.

    I liked the music of most of Sinnoh's routes. Route 201 comes to mind, and I also like the tracks Doctor posted. I'm a big fan of the battle music too: Barry's and Dialga/Palkia is one of my favorite battle music in any Pokemon game. :D
     
    Honestly the music wasn't too bad. Almost all of it is withstandable. Usually when listening to it, you get accustomed to the sounds lol
