Higuain just missed an absolute sitter.
Game's started really brightly though, looking good!

EDIT: What a header from Heinze!, dreadful marking but bloody hell that was good.
 
Argentina ahead after some woeful defending from Nigeria. Great.
 
Nigeria's physical strength seems to be really bothering Argentina though..I wouldn't call it over just yet.
 
Messi's shot was good..
I wouldn't be surprised if Nigeria got one back. They're doing pretty well.
 
Nigeria are giving the ball away far too cheaply and they're wasting the set piece opportunities they're getting. They're going to have to tighten it up a bit if they want to stay in the game.

They've got their keeper to thank for not being 2 or 3 goals down already.

More poor marking from a set piece from Nigeria, I can only see one team scoring atm.
 
Another very good save from Nigeria's keeper, they'll be wanting to make sure Argentina don't score another before half time.

Half time 1-0, Nigeria not out of it yet but Argentina have been very, very comfortable.

Oh god, Greece-South Korea was almost as bad as France-Uruguay yesterday, take away the goals and even less happened.

This has been an interesting game so far as both teams have had their fair share of chances and Argentina have even more weaknesses than I thought. What the hell is Guiterrez doing at right back?
 
Argentina has good swarming defence??? named it right did I? Nigeria's Goalie has been doing great i have to agree about that. Still only 1-0 Argentina lets see what happens after halftime.

Oh yeah, Enyeama looks brilliant. With Foster off to Birmingham then we could sign him if Kuszczak turns out not to possess the qualityto replace VDS.

I think if Lagerback makes a couple of tactical change, maybe even a substitute at half time then Nigeria could be in here.

I am seriously loving this game after this i am gonna watch the England VS USA but yea if they keep the goalie in and change one defender idk his name and one forward then Nigeria will have a better chance but I still want Argentina to win =P.

He needs to change the system tbh, Argentina are overwhelming them and look lethal every time they break forward.

That and the fact Nigeria's forwards aren't getting any support.

I can't see them keeping the same lineup and formation for the second half, it just isn't working.
 
yes lol satellites back!!!! you know watching the World Cup makes me wanna pick up a soccer ball and play but i havent played in like 2 years and now want to play for the rest of my life anyone else feel the same?

Still 1-0. I think it's going to stay like that. I would have liked to see Nigeria score, but they didn't lose that bad. It's only one goal. At one point Obasi got hurt in his private xD poor guy. But what made me laugh the most is that there's one Nigerian player called Shittu! I was roflmao so hard and my parents didn't understand a thing xD
 
lol 4 minutes extra time and i'm so stressed i don't want nigeria to score lol i want argentina to win. my satellites been turning on and off all game lol well at least the second half.
