Oh lord Green trust West Ham >___>

Seriously, England are playing pretty well though.. they should just calm it and hold the ball now.

Good game. I'll take a tie with England any day.

In my opinion these 5 games have been dreadful, although I didnt see the England game that much, the vuvuzelas(i think thats what there called) have been burned into my brain and they make me wanna cry. (Those horn thingys). Green made a horrible mistake. David James is alot better of a keeper because experience wins (He played in euro 2004,I believe Green didnt.) Heinze's goal was epic. I would love to score a goal like that it just went (WOOOSH!!!!) and the Nigeran Goalkeeper should be president,he is amazing. The Greece match, well Greece just lobbed random balls into the box in the hope one of them would fall into a Greek head, didnt work of course. They have fallen downhill since Euro 2004,its hard to believe that that team won a major competition six years ago,I mean they were half as fast as the Koreans (I believe they could be dark horses).

Although I have never played in a world cup and probally never will. This one could be a lot better.

That was a great game, we really did keep it at a tie. x3
I think everybody's pretty much satisfied with the result. ^^

Could someone tell me how England slaughtered the USA yet didn't win? I've seen far worse England performances in matches they've won.

That was awful.

Not enough effort made to win the game in the second half.

Though a few positivies, Hart might get a game now, King might finally be banished from the national side for the fitness he has and Heskey turned out to be one of the better players on the pitch.

Still a shambles though.

You look at the clubs they've played for in the premiership though and only Howard and Donovan have been at good ones.

Howard - Manchester United (Poor aswell) then on to Everton
Donovan - Everton
Guzan - Aston Villa (Good but he has only one appearance in the Premier league and probably wont be used for USA)
Hanhnemann - Reading & Wolves
Spector - Manchester United (but didnt cut it) and West Ham
Dempsey - Fulham (Fulham are average and when he joined they were relegation candidates and he isnt playign week in, week out now)
Altidore - Hull (and even there he was bad for the average quality of the team)

Also, you forgot DeMerit & Bocanegra who have.

Donovan & Micheal Bradley should be the ones who can make trouble but our squad is just a whole level higher than theirs.

Why does it matter who they've played for? They've got experience in the Premier League regardless. And I also wasn't going out of my way to name every American player who's played here, I was naming a few examples.

Anyway, the match. First half: fine without being spectacular, their goal came against the run of play. Second half: awful to watch.

Tonight highlighted exactly why we won't win the World Cup for a number of years, let alone this time round. We'll be very lucky to reach the Semi Finals.

Oh and also to all the idiots who questioned why Heskey's being picked for England, look no further than tonight's man of the match performance.

Shambles is a bit unfair; with the chances we had we should have won the game, yes, but credit to the Americans for remaining organised and defending well.

Well, I'll take a tie over a loss too. Of course, I'm going for England and the US as well as Spain and France, so I could've cared less about who won today. I'm glad that the 4 teams I'm going for are still in this though.
They'll all still be in it for another two matches at least.

The match was alright. First half of the first half went well but then the game went, in England's perspective, quite average. I think putting Sean Wright-Phillips instead of Joe Cole was wrong, but he did play okay, I guess. XD;

They drew in 66. Don't worry. We'll be fine.

:'(

I don't know guys...I was hoping the U.S. would win 2-1, but for some reason even with this draw I don't feel very satisfied, only because that goal should have never been in and it was a goalkeeper's mistake. My little brother wouldn't have made that kind of error with his friends, and he's 13...

Maybe the vuvuzelas were controlling green. He must have thought a swarm of bees were fast approaching. :D

I could not be more angry at Green.
I have been a goalkeeper for nearly 8 years now, and the MAIN AND MOST BASIC THING is to get your body behind the ball for THAT exact reason.

I haven't been this angry at a player for a long time.

Yes Green should have saved it. Yes it's typical England..But let's face it, we should have scored more than one anyway.

I'd say Spain, but Pele tipped them, so...I can't really be sure.

I'll be cheering for Australia, even though we've not the slightest chance of winning. :D

I cannot believe how the US got that goal. When I saw it I thought to myself that my younger brother could of stopped it. I hope this match shows the world that the US is not to be taken lightly.
