The Johto episodes were dull as hell so it has to be the worst saga IMO, like everyone says, there are just too many fillers!

The best has to be Hoenn/Sinnoh (not seen much of Unova so still to judge that ;)) mainly because I prefer the battles and I find the episodes less boring somehow.

yeah, i'm not a big fan of johto either. none of it just really interested me.
after that is deffinitly isshu.

Only 16 episodes have aired, you can't base an opinion on it this early.
Why not? I can still base an opinion on other things, like the early character developpement and stuff.

That can be true in some ways but overall, other regions has worser problems, there isn't enough episodes/information to compare it to other saga's. That's why I didn't add it to the poll.

Its a tie between johto and shinoh for me. Both had a ridiculous amount of fillers and took almost forever to finish. Though i think the one that's worse out of the two is shinoh. Aside from the massive filler, it cranked the contest meter to 11 and introduced clones of the contest rivals in hoenn, most of which are kinda unnecessary in my opinion. The voices i can forgive since i've gotten used to it. And there was only a few episodes worth watching in my opinion.

Johto for me..

1. Way too many fillers. If you are to take out at least 1/3, or even half of the fillers, Johto would be an okay saga.

2. No Character development. Brock became some girl crazy weirdo, Misty spent almost the whole time carrying togepi around, and ash was still ash..

DP Saga was the worst, seriously. 52 episode to Icicle badge from Beacon Badge -.-'

Really, i couldn't watch a SINGLE episode without yawning, the only episode i was excited in DP Saga was "Gym Leader Volkner, Elite Four Flint". The rest i didn't care so much. That saga was really boring, even my best friend though that, he was almost sleeping watching only ONE episode.

Johto, mainly cause there were too many fillers! D:

Plus, there was hardly any character change. Honestly, I like a good character change. It shows that Pokemon isn't completley dead.

Johto.

Just, ugh.

The the only thing that's managed to make me enjoy Johto in any way, are the Heart Gold and Soul Silver games. :/ Even when I was 13, and was so hugely into Pokemon, I stopped watching it for a few years, because the Johto anime was uninteresting to me. I never even beat any of the original G/S/C games. xD; ( I love Heart Gold, oddly..) & Next to Johto, Sinnoh didn't impress me much, but I at least enjoyed most of the episodes I saw of it, to a point.

For me it would have to me the Advanced Gen. I just never really liked it all that much.

I hate myself for saying this but I gotta go with Kanto. I really only have two major complaints about it:

1. Orange Islands, I hate that archepeligo that somehow has like 80 completly independent islands. Did Groudon get mad and decide to split the place up?

2. In the Indigo League (this is my only complaint about the Indigo League) the gym battles and league battles were pretty boring in my opinion. Most of them only lasted for like two moves.

I used to not like Hoenn because I thought Ruby and Sapphire were just awful games so I never really gave it a chance. But when Emerald came out, I went back to watch the Advanced Gen. episodes and actually liked them. So now that Hoenn isn't my least favorite, I'd have to go with Kanto just because Ash was pretty much given half of his badges by fluke(Like the whole thing with Erika when they didn't even finish their battle in the first place).

I'm kinda stuck between Kanto and Advanced, Kanto was kind of too fast for me and the battles weren't very exciting. The Advanced series had Max, so yeah.

Firstable if you know anything about the real allegory essence of Pokémon the first two series are 'BY FAR' the best generations. This thread doesn't make any logical sense as the younger users here didn't start watching the anime from when it started to air on TV. they wouldn't know about the aesthesis spirit that Pokémon once had. Which is not found anymore in the Pokémon world.

I don't know why so many people the Johto arc was bad. I reckon the Sinnoh arc was the worst. ._.;
For me, it felt really draggy.

-and I actually consider the Johto arc to be the best. xDD;;-

i lost interest in the anime at the advanced saga so i guess ill have to go with that. i just got sick of all of the filler. seriously though, exactly how long did ash stay in training to prepare for the second gym battle? it took way too long.

Agree 100%

I would also add that Sinnoh is no where close the first two but you pretty much said it

Johto. All I can say about it is that it's got way too many fillers.
Not as much as Sinnoh it took a whole year worth of episodes between Ash's for Ash to get his 8th sinnoh badge oh and that time was only between the 7th and 8th...I'm glad to see BW seems to be avoiding that :)

Battle Frontier - Present is the worst in my opinion.

Show has been going downhill, new voices simply kill the nostalgia I once had for the show.

I own Season 1 (Indigo League) and 2 (Orange Islands) on DVD. The rest ain't worth it.
