Approved: Writing Competition

So you two, Hiroshi Sotomura posted some final requirements for the threads and a couple stuff caught my interest:

Running restrictions

Events must run within the four day schedule. This includes any submissions a member makes. Entries should only, unless part of something that involves giving out answers (like the wordsearch or scavenger hunts, which would mandate sending entries via PM) be submitted as posts.
You guys are fine with having the entries be posted (perhaps under a spoiler) instead of being PMed to us? I'm assuming the threads have to be approved by the higher ups and not sure if you two can do that.

Emblems or other awards

Please state at the top of your planning thread the emblems, blog or Supporter Credit that your event will use. Your event may not be approved if there is an issue with your use of the emblems. (Also note that prizes are not mandatory.)
This one I'm going to say the first post of this thread can be edited with the emblems I made?

/Bay is paranoid

Well I suppose Astinus can just c+p the emblems/the planned opening post into her first post int he thread then, easy enough via quoting my post to get it all.

And... I guess they could be posted (if so then yes, under spoilers), but I just feel that it would be better if they were PM'd as usual nonetheless like with previous years/other competitions. That's just my personal preference though and I don't really mind - your thoughts, Astinus?

Done.

I prefer PM for one reason being that's how we did things before. For another reason, I don't like the idea of people seeing what the competition is like and either bragging that they think their story is better or people withdrawing/worried that their story isn't as good as the others. And besides, that stories being posted in a bulk at the end of the judging period gives a nice boost to FF&W's activity, and is a tradition that the participants look forward to every time.

Pretty much my reason for preferring the entries to be in PM. I know there are times when I see someone's writing posted I get a bit discouraged. I don't really mind though if the entries have to be posted and be in a spoiler.

SO if the GT is extended as discussed in that other thread, it may be up to a week (so 3 extra days) but it's optional if we want to extend the competition length ourselves. https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=257458

Personally - I would be okay with another day of two I guess but no longer, more than that just seems... well, too much. Bay from a chat seems to be in a similar frame of mind - your thoughts, Astinus?
