It was in the wrong location (If moved to another forum) or it matched another thread with the same topic (if merged with another thread.)

If you made a thread to ask a question, it got merged with a question thread if it wasn't answered before the mod saw it. If it was a thread that didn't belong in the specific forum in which it was posted in, then the mod moved it to a more appropriate forum so you'd get a more adequate response from the people that lurk in those forums.
 
What is required to be allowed to shop in the Lumoise City clothing shop? All the woman tells me is to try other things in the city and I even have the gym badge.

You have to buy items from all the other stores, get a hair cut, make a PR video, work in Hotel Richissem, battle in the restaurants, get an interview/info from Alexa at the newspaper place, have your Furfrou Groomed.


Basically you are raising your style in the city when you do these things. Its an unseen stat your character has and once it reaches a certain point, the lady will let you in to shop.

I'm on my way, I've made a video, gotten a haircut and purchased from several of the stores. I have a furfrou so I'm going to the pokemon center now to fetch it for grooming.
 
Anyone have their items just vanish?

Okay, so I had 20 Rare Candies in my game I bought from the online Pokemiles club. They were in my bag for days now and I just use them to level up my pokemon to check their IVs and then reset. However, I got a Tyrogue in trade (and for whatever reason, three of it's Ivs are eiter 30 0r 31, but all online calculators REQUIRE it to be at lv 100 to tell me for sure, so tha's weird) and went to use the 20 rare candies I had and they're all gone! Not a single rare candy anywhere! Has anyone else had items mysteriously vanish on them?

Have you tried aiming and holding down the stylus to let your Pokemon release a charged shot? It also helps to hold down the L button to put up a shield to deflect shots that you can't dodge.
 
Resetting console question?

Hey guys, if I reset my 2DS, am I able to retain my pokemon save?

I'm asking this because I want to know if I can change my friend safari. xD

If I do do this, should I take out my SD card or is that required to be in there? And are pokemon saves in the SD card or in the pokemon game itself?

If you have a digital game, it is saved on the SD card, if you have a physical game crad however, the game is gave on the card itself.

EDIT: I saw online that Pokemon X and Y require SD cards to work, so does that mean if I reset my 2DS, Pokemon Y will not recognize my SD card?

Nah my aim was fine. I figured out the problem though. The points you get from hitting the target and your speed go up the more EV's you have. I didn't have nearly enough EV's to complete the training stages in part 2 so I'm going back to part 1 until I increase my base stats a bit more.
 
I am in the right part of my bag, but I did end up looking through each item in every section of the bag just in case, and I thought I might have saved too, but all my caught pokemon are still at level 15 and all my traded Safari pokemon are still at level 30, so anything I might have used the Rare Candy on shows no signs of being saved afterwards.
 
No, it will still recognize your SD card and if it doesn't, whatever files the game created and saved on the SD card will just get re created again.
 
So I had like +4000 PokeMiles, and hadn't spent a single one. Now I have 3. Is there any sort of explanation for that? ._.

Did you use Game Sync? By default your Pokemiles will be transferred to the Global link when you use it but you can turn that off.

Use Vs Recorder. All videos should be saved onto your SD Card, which you can then plug into your computer and have them transferred. Once the videos are in your computer, see if they have a format that YouTube supports. If they do, then they're ready to be uploaded! (:
