6th Gen X/Y Quick Q&A

It evolves at level 39 at nighttime, if I remembered correctly. There might be something wrong, or the time isn't technically considered 'nighttime'.
 
The stars are out and its dark too. Maybe I need to level it up for it to take effect. I'll let you guys know.

How do people get 4IV / 5IV Dittos?

Route 8, 12, or Cyllage City with Old Rod. Wild Luvdisc can be found holding heart scales; try using a pokemon with Compound Eyes as your lead to increase the likelihood.
 
I need a team request for youtube play.

I would like someone with full HD gameplay to upload this team in they're gameplay (Pokemon X/Y) on Wifi Battles.

The reason is: I can't play X/Y yet... cause I don't own a 3DS (I want the 3D version, not the 2D version... in my opinion, 2D is a $100 downgrade) yet or pokemon X/Y... but I really want to see my team in 3-D action!

Requirements: No Speeding Up Video. No Editing Video (Including any Movie Maker, Vegas, ect), No Pre-Editing Video (Chopping out Extra Parts that don't matter in the video like battle selection, using your recording program.) If video turns out to be Longer than 15 minutes, you'll need an activated account. All Requested Pokemon must be present in your team together on every battle/match. Show the Pokemon on both teams before the match. You need to upload at least 6 matches against different trainers. The trainers must have same or higher level pokemon and must be EV trained (no easy victory matches). 2 matches are 1 on 1 pokemon (single battle), 2 matches are 2 on 2 pokemon (double battle), 2 matches are 3 on 3 pokemon (triple/rotation battle). Any extra bonus matches you choose to do are up to you. You must use ALL pokemon in every battle. If you lose, don't sweat it, it's my team, I'll take the loss. Upload the video anyway, and count the victory or loss against this Youtube account: PokemonPureShadow (I don't have X/Y yet, but I soon will have a 3DS and the Game Pokemon Z)

Here's the requested team:
Generation 1: Ninetales (Fire)
Generation 2: Girafarig (Psychic)
Generation 3: Milotic (Water)
Generation 4: Zebrastrika (Electric)
Generation 5: Sawsbuck (Grass)

I'm curious about the technical side of Wonder Trade. When starting one, does it cruise the servers until it finds a partner? It seems that it takes a while, and other times it's very quick. Sometimes it can't find a partner at all, which is kind of odd.

Well i plan on using it for breeding cause it'll just make my life a lot easier on breeding. Especially when most of my pokemons require eggmoves that they already know.
 
Shiny hatching / breeding shinies.

Okay guys. So if I have a shiny ditto and a regular even from KOR/JPN. what will the odds be of me hatching a shiny?


Also, if I get a shiny pokemon and breed it with a shiny ditto, what will the odds be then?

Odds of getting a shiny should be the same as anyone who is using the Masuda Method, which would be 1/1365 i think. Having a shiny parents doesn't increase the odds of shiny babies. If someone more experienced in breeding wants to comment on that and tell me I'm wrong please do.

I thought I just asked it this morning, but i don't see it so I'll ask again.

Does anyone know why Pokebox is only allowing storage from BW/B2W2? I have a lot of stuff in HG and PEarl that I never transfered (cause it was a pain, and I only have one ds). Has Nintendo/Gamefreak said if they may open older games to it in the future?

Also, does anyone know if I get a Pokemon Y in US and set the Language to Japanese and then trade with myself, will it be a Japanese whatever? So, if I could get a japanese Ditto with good IVs by myself then give it to myself for Masuda/IV-trained eggs?

The odds of breeding a shiny are exactly the same as getting a random shiny encounter in the wild, which would be 1/8192 (1/4096 as of X & Y), even if one or both parents are shiny. Using the Masuda Method however, will increase the chance of breeding a shiny to 1/1365.3 (Even better odds as of X and Y). Obtaining the "Shiny Charm" item by completing the national dex (Not yet possible in X and Y until Dec. 25, 2013) will further increase the odds by 300% being about 1/1024 in the masuda method.
 
Does anyone know how to get a dusk stone? D: I've tried searching online, but everyone says different things. I want to evolve my Doublade... but I'm not sure how to obtain a dusk stone. >< Sue me, I don't normally need to ask for help when it comes to pokemon. :[
