I never understood the point of having legenderies ME. After all, all the point of that is the bond between the trainer and the Pokemon. If they wanna power up a Pokemon like Giratina they should just give it another form or alternitevly give it an evolution item (not ME's one).

I think people may have taken my post out of context, even though I had clearly acknowledged it to be Tretta... and I apologize for that. I just think it would be kind of awesome if they named the upcoming new game similar to the "Ultimate Z" title in Tretta.

Um, but my post had no relation to that. I knew what tretta Z was. i said that I still believe it will be called Delta Z and combine ORAS and X and Y story wise. I also believe all this merch is adding up to the announcement next month, especially if they are pixelating out images in an update to a spinoff. It seems that all the recent spinoffs are being made with future games in mind, so they can update them with those games contents. For example, pokemon shuffle has an ability called mega boost. It makes you achieve your mega faster if it's the same type as the pokemon with mega boost. One of the pokemon that uses it is trubbish. Yet there is no poison mega. Beedrill's according to what hackers found, is a bug type mega. So if he isn't poison, then another pokemon has to take it's slot. This leads to believe the spinoffs are being prepped for Z and the game will focus on connecting all the recent entries to make it a huge release for the 20th anniversary.

You mentioned that you wondered what Arceus' role would be so it seemed like you were talking about an Arceus Mega xD (the image is from Tretta so...)

Mega Machamp possible due to that whole power belt sealing its power thing. as for dialga & palkia that would technically be a primal reversion. Giratina has absolutly no need for a mega evolution and it's forum change is practically a primal reversion

now as foe that whole mega arceus thing, look at the pokedex

Why would Primal Reverted Dialga look like what in Japan is referred to as Dark Dialga? Irc Primal Groudon and Kyogre are still called Primals in Japanese so Dark Dialga isn't a true Primal.

There is actually, if that happens it means they are referencing a standalone spinoff series. I believe Game Freak have no rights over Primal Dialga (not to confused with the normal Dialga as we know; Nintendo however have rights over both kinds of Dialga), I'm not sure if Spike Chunsoft has Primal Dialga trademarked or licensed. But it's gonna be trouble between Game Freak and Spike Chunsoft if that happens. {XD}

Having said that, it's possible for Game Freak to create a new form for Dialga, perhaps sometime in the future?

For the time being, I don't think we're gonna see any 'Primal forms' and 'Mega Evolution forms' of the mascot legendaries, with the Sinnoh ones in particular.

Though I wouldn't mind the likes of Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres to receive alternate forms. I believe only those who made it through the Kalos dex received Megas, while those Pokemon that received Megas in ORAS aren't neccesarily part of the Hoenn dex (Prolly due to lack of diversity, no?)

What if the new Megas in Z are limited to the Kalos dex again? I assume that they are gonna use the same dex as XY for now, as there's no definite prove for a whole new dex. Incidentally only six of the New Megas from ORAS are not part of the Kalos dex, they are namely Lopunny, Glalie, Metagross, Sceptile, Camerupt and Swampert. The Eon duos do not count for an obvious reason.

What if the new Megas in Z are limited to the Kalos dex again? I assume that they are gonna use the same dex as XY for now, as there's no definite prove for a whole new dex. Incidentally only six of the New Megas from ORAS are not part of the Kalos dex, they are namely Lopunny, Glalie, Metagross, Sceptile, Camerupt and Swampert. The Eon duos do not count for an obvious reason.

If they're planning to put-together a mega-evolution for some Pokémon, I feel they'll likely modify the Kalos dex and include its line. Either this, or they might have us wait until post-game.

Interesting! By modify there are two meaning: completely changing or adding more selections. If they are adding more selection, there's no harm on including over 690 Pokemon or we should simply begin with a National dex, which have not been done before.

I would be intrigued if they completely change the old Pokemon in Kalos dex into those old Pokemon they haven't featured before such as the Happiny linne, the Totodile line and so on. It adds a bit of fun and unexpected twists.

I imagine that we're going to get a revamped Kalos Dex in some form. Like what was just said, Platinum and BW2 made some changes to the Dex that already existed in their respective duo versions. I think it will be interesting to see what exactly they'll do, because of the fact that all non-event Pokemon, including Deoxys, are available in ORAS. Do they plan on making all Pokemon available in "Z" to fix the compatibility issues that exist with X/Y and ORAS?

In other news, the 5th episode title for XY&Z has been revealed. Call me crazy, but it's starting to make me really wonder just what they plan on doing for the game's plot. Because essentially, we're going to be spoiled by the anime if they planned on the game(s) having a similar plot. This is a strange situation we're in, usually the "3rd version" is released worldwide by the time the plot is covered in Japan's anime episodes. If they want to avoid too many spoilers, they would almost have to make some pretty big changes opposed to your typical "3rd version".

I don't understand the compatibility issue? I think you meant the New Mega Stones from last year and other 'ORAS exclusive features'. If so, no need to worry. :D It'll be fixed most likely, unless they wanna create riots. {XD} Poor X and Y versions are further degraded.

While slightly unrelated i don't think we're gonna see major spoilers for 'Z version' in 'XY&Z'. I think they are gonna focus on Squishy's development, like its personality? I expect Sycamore from the anime is gonna throw out the usual, 'we don't know much about the specie'-kinda lines. Just like you though, I hope they'll be able to show us something new and more than the Ash-Greninja. Not gonna further elaborate, we don't wanna stray out of the speculation. :D

I think that the movie instead will have a plot closer to the games as most likely we'll get the games before the movie in July 2016. Also keep an eye on Pokemon Special. Back during the RS arc they included Rayquaza into the conclusion and even provided a proto-type to the Jade orb oddly enough...

How would adding mons to the dex fix the compatibility issues between XY and OrAs? OrAs megas that weren't in the Kalos dex would just become post game Megas like those mons in OrAs which couldn't be found until after Groudon/Kyogre were defeated/captured.

I think that the only way GF will add mons to the dex is if they actually do a Gen 7/ Gen 6.5 and add entirely new ones. Or perhaps Z will simply add a few old mons like the Kanto birds, and Mew. Doesn't necessary have to be big. They could also take some away and add some which aren't in either the Kalos or Hoenn dex (OrAs).

Yeah, sorry for the confusion there, I was thinking among the lines that arceus could be important to the two games.( it be cool if they set up a small plot revolving around arceus and the kalos war but that probably won't happen)

I think that if any Event legend from another region could be connected to the Kalos War it is Deoxys...it's possible that the ultimate weapon hit a virus. In real life there is a theory that viruses influenced and actually might be a driver of evolution, as as we know Mega Stones came about from the Ultimate weapon's effects on the environment. So it's possible that Mega Stones have a little of Deoxys in them...

So for you your speculation is 50/50? I think that there's a higher chance for a Delta Emerald and Z pair rather than Delta Z, especially as the coding of OrAs has two placement holders which implies two versions. It could be that the other one is Pokemon GO, especially since they mentioned it has a connection (pretty sure they meant it can connect to them rather than story wise )to the main games.
