One would be like Platinum in that cyrus wanted both DP mascots except with the third member added into the goals, along with being similar to Emerald if they do take the 'quasi-sequel for a third version' route again.
As for Two...well it doesn't have to be two teams as Flare, and Galactic were after one of the mascots of the pair versions and didn't have any rival team. Plasma kind of wanted our dragon too...
I think the two cores if they are the only ones will be two halves of Zygarde's brain and both will be able to turn into 50 percent. It's possible that the Zyagrde Flare has in the anime is Blue core already transformed...
Some think that XY were too short so a long game would be welcomed.Oh true, I forgot about Platinum. I never played gen four or five so I am (at least storywise) unaware of the plot of the games so thanks for pointing these out!
No I also do not think we will get two evil teams, just that (maybe) in the first game the legendary encounter would be a 75% Red Core Zygarde and in the other one a 75% Blue Core Zygarde. We do not want any new evil teams unless we're getting a new generation or something more intriguing.
Although your final words look a lot better (and much more reasonable to make it that way) about the brain split into two. But then again, how will the story progress if they have to obtain two cores and then summon the legendary bla bla bla. That way we'll either have a reaaaally long game or reaaaally long cutscenes, won't we?
So Z confirmed for the direct tomorrow:
https://twitter.com/Junichi_Masuda/status/664620327679332352
He retweeted the direct, which he never does. Could be pokken related but that isn't as likely since he doesn't seem to acknowledge spin offs. So Z seems somewhat likely, thoughts?
Must resist hype... Btw that tweet translating his tweet seems to be a direct translation (as Minna means everyone/people in this context). I'll translate everything beyond "Pokenchi!". "Tomorrow morning at 7 (a.m) watch the Nintendo direct, please (the Kudasai (please) could just be his formal way of speaking, Kudasai isn't a rare word in everyday speech in Japan so one shouldn't look too into it) .)"
The ND tweet is longer than this, at least the one I saw before.Ah, I thought it was a generic retweet, but that's still interesting. As 3rd party developers retweet directs when they have big news. Such as Techmo Koei retweeting tomorrow's direct, saying we will get a trailer for the king of red lions in it tomorrow.

That it's not a retweet makes it even more interesting...he actually took the time to write this down...
Now the Pokenchi is the most interesting.. that's the variety show's name... could he be hinting at a link?

It is, especially since he didn't hype up the latest two issues of corocoro (which had nothing to hype about). So it most likely has something Pokémon related. Someone mentioned that he rarely hypes up side games so chances are it's 'Z' or Volcanion will be officially revealed. Maybe a short trailer of the game which shows nothing much like Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire's announcement 'trailer' did. So just the logo and name for the game...but that's enough for us at this point xD.Well, now that he's tweeted about it and is telling people to watch out for it, I guess we'll ever so slightly brace ourselves for the umpteenth time.
I'm not trying to overhype myself or you guys here, but I think it's interesting in that this is almost a repeat of when he told us to watch out for CoroCoro in September, in that CoroCoro and Nintendo are not exclusively about Pokemon but Masuda and Pokenchi are. And if he's telling us to watch out for it, well... I'm not saying anything until the fat Mario sings or has a stroke.
It's tomorrow (as Masuda said in his tweet), in Japan it'll be 7 a.m. 13/11(/2015) (I forgot to translate this part, sorry) when it's European and American counterparts air (Directs are semi WW events).At least it's only 2 days away, so we won't have to be on pins and needles for too long. Still, I can't help but think that even if this isn't the big reveal, it's got to be coming up soon. By the usual Pokemon game release schedule, it feels like we're long overdue ;-;

As Joe from Serebii has said on twitter and I've said on here several times, this wait isn't that long. Pt was announced 20 months or so after DP came out, and B2W2 were in the upper tens in terms of months after the prequels had come out.
I think that the fact that we have gotten a game every year since Pt outside of Japan makes it feel like short waits, because for us it was. BW were announced in Japan a few months after HgSs came out in the U.S., and Emerald came out in Japan when we got FrLg, so we got one game to play and one game to speculate on until now that we got a Worldwide release.
I understood it :P I had just neglected to account for the time differences.
But anyways, yea, they do seem to normally release the games shortly after announcing them. So I'd imagine if we do get an announcement on the games (not getting my hopes up too much, but if), it'd probably be a few months away. I guess we'll find out soon enough though c:
