Yellow Remake?

    I don't know if this is the right place to put this, so if a mod could move it, that would be great.

    I noticed that HG/SS are somewhat hinting a Yellow remake. They make Pichu a big deal (Little form of Pikachu, main character aside from you). One big thing was the follow you around part. Making the pokemon follow you around like Pikachu gave me a thought of this.

    What do you think? Does Nintendo intend for a Yellow remake next?
     
    I highly doubt that. Though they do seem to want to rack up on the money, the third game in the generations (Yellow, Crystal, etc.) do not need a remake since they're the revamp of the ones that came before it.
     
    I think that'd be a little too much. There's not enough of difference from Red/Blue anyways. That won't be reason enough to stop them though. :/
     
    A yellow remake? Nahh... Too many remakes right now,but if they ever did a game all about pika,then the should do something like a interactive pikachu,kinda like nintendodogs.
     
    Nu, I don't think they will.

    They already have that 'follow me I am your trainer' feature, and why make a remake of a Pikachu stalking ya?

    Every generation has a third game, but I doubt they'd make it Yellow considering that you can do the follow-around thing in HG&SS.
     
    Nah, they would've done it by now. Yellow was released pretty much only because of the show becoming huge in America, especially due to Ash/Pikachu becoming popular. Yellow is tied closely to the first season of the show, so obviously releasing it now wouldn't make much sense.
     
    I certainly hope not. The last thing this franchise needs is another game devoted to that certain yellow rodent-like annoyance. Besides, it logically would have been released around the time of FR/LG.
     
    No - the only thing that made it different from RBG was the influence of the Anime (which has been around for a while and is kinda old news now), Pikachu following you (which every Pokemon can do now) and getting all the Kanto starters (you can get one in HGSS, and Wi-fi has made trading for the others a lot easier).

    Note that HGSS included features not only from GS, but from Crystal as well, negating the need for a third remake. I think they're establishing that they will only make remakes of the first two games in each generation, and simply incorporate elements of the third game.

    that would be an ok idea though- "Nintenpokes" or "Nintenmons"
    i would buy that :) i like Nintendogs, so "Nintenmons" wouldn't be that bad an idea :) it would sell pretty good IMO
     
    Nah, not going to happen. I wouldn't want a Yellow remake anyway, since now in HGSS you can walk with all your pokemon and can travel to Kanto.
     
    I personally wouldn't recommend a remake. Yellow was an interesting game, but the thing I hate about 3rd installation pokemon games is the fact that they always add a feature you wish all of the games had, for example I wish my watch could cycle back and forth between apps like it does in platinum. It just annoys you.
     
    How's incorporating the main selling point of a game in the other games hint that a remake for the original is coming? I don't think Yellow will be remade this generation, since last gen was when Gen I was getting remade. However, a Crystal? Maybe (just with new features, not the ones put in HGSS).

    I mean so far no one generation has sent out the one scheme of games. If this gen finishes now, it would unprecedently follow the scheme of a previous generation.
     
    HG/SS is great idea they come up to remake silver version and gold version i recken yellow remake would be great idea it was one of my favorites one reason for is pika can follow you

    oh yea i forgot to add pearl/diamond remake was great platium is reallly good i like couple of the new twists
