You are so not cool, without it you never will be.

It happens everywhere. Even here. If you're not gay and you don't like Lady Gaga then you're totally not cool. I just ignore it. I don't need to feel "cool" to be happy and content. I like my own stuff.

I wouldn't necessarily say that there is a craze, nor really a trend. What is "in" and "out" really varies between the different cliques. But.. you don't really need anything at my school to be cool. I guess that it is the benefits of being a smaller town, people are more accepting... at least in my experience. I mean, you need one of three things really. 1. Intelligence. 2. Appearance or 3. Attitude. I bet that everyone has at least one of those three, if not 2-3. So... yeah.

A lot of students from my school has a Facebook. My estimate is that one out of four students either made one but never use it, or is addicted to it. There is also a large group of students who have a formspring. They always complain about it, even though some of them check it every hour for more "questions."

Recently, my school is starting to discover sites such as livejournal and tumblr. It wasn't this popular last year. Something in Spring Break made everyone notice their existence.

Oh, and jerk dancing. Ever since last summer, everyone seemed to be wearing skinny jeans and tight shirts on a daily basis. There used to a jerk off every Friday at lunch. The teachers eventually noticed and disband it immediately. That still didn't stop them to meet up somewhere and make a new video.

Those animal bracelets are starting to get popular at my school. I want one so bad.

Animal bracelets? Those rubber band things?! I thought that was just my school!! I hate most crazes. Like there's one about disfunctional families right now. >_>
Are the animal bracelets different colours and have like hope and other words on them? My friend is obsessed with them but she took the orange one for a strange reason..
I do agree with alot of you, because my school has many different nationalities enrolled each have a different trend. Like the Indians and Chinese students like going to the library and playing games, the Samoan (Sorry for the spelling.) like creating new beats and they love creating music and playing rugby ect.

No-one in the UK wears animal bracelets, but I know where you can get them (The only shop I've ever seen in the UK that sells them, plus it's tiny and no-one but 5 year old kids who are buying toy cars notice it). They sell zoo animals, dinosaurs, farm animals and symbols. And I plan on buying some dinosaurs when I have money :)

The Lati@s Craze, Back in 1st grade. It was like a kid would make hacked latios to give to the males, and Latias to the girls. and kids also wore Self-made drawings. Luckily that ended...

Oh.. Right now, I realize that there is too much stuff in my school, Like Beibier, or Jay-z or something, They adapt to that and even six years old like them.

Kates party was something got entirely out of hand.
From what Ive been told, it was an event listing on facebook that due to a temporary glitch on the social networking site actually invited pretty much everyone that has an account.
Its not really a trend or a fad, it was just something that happened.

I dont necessarily follow trends either.
I just sort of do what I feel like.
Popularity has never been linked with trends for me.

Your telling this thing invited everyone by mistake (apparently) and I STILL didn't get an invitation!? xD Self esteem just hit rock bottom right there haha.

I only remember one trend from school, it was for the boys to have their hair cut a certain way then spiked up at the back.

Lil Wayne and "The Rad Kids." Gang/Rap Crew/Dance Team my school has. Strange peeps yo. Strange peeps. :\

Also those animal or fruit ruber band things. I wear some, like a Pineapple a Wolf and a Taco. (Best three things in the world.) Best fad yet. Better than skinny jeans...oh how I miss skinny jeans.

Those headbands, the ones that make you look like a hippie? (ehh, i don't know my fashion.) Girls here are addicted to those! Plaid shorts! It's like an epidemic, all these plaids clothing, and then the matching shirt. It's horrible.

I suppose we have a few less crazes over here because we have to wear uniform for school.

Once you get past CoD nothing is insanely popular in our school.

I don't know if its a craze as such but alot of people in my class always say terrible internet phrases in real life, for example just going around saying falcon punch as they hit someone, everytime someone mentions numbers all I hear is 'Over 9000!' across the room and I dont even get that one. Rather annoying.

Yes, alot of boys in my grade love counter strike. I dont really like it, I always get killed in like 2 seconds. Haha

Counter Strike has a really unique way of hitboxs. instead of generating bullets realistically, all bullets hit instantly and the hitbox moves ahead of the player, creating the illusion of having to lead. It doesn't work very well though, so, you wind up with very unique hitboxs that don't always make any sense.

Just giving advice that may help you with playing the game. I did a lot better once I realized how it worked.

^Yeah, I played and learned to hate CS due to this.

The crazes I know of that I'm definitely not part of are...

Call of Duty
Counter Strike
Any music related craze ever
Sports

...Yeah, I'm pretty lame.

Back in Middle School, there was a day or two where it seemed like everybody except myself was wearing "The Dark Side of the Moon" T-shirts. Maybe there was some kind of re-release or something, other than that it was the shortest and most unexpected fad I've ever seen.

The only logical conclusion is that I briefly entered an alternate universe where Pink Floyd rules the eastern coast of the United States as some kind of dystopic hegemony. It's so obvious.
