With six generations full of Pokemon and badge obtaining, there has been quite an accumulation of different gym designs. Which gym and its puzzle design did you like the most and which one just brought the worst out of you?

I really liked the design of the Dragon Gym (Iris/Drayden) in Black and White. I liked how the statues moved up, down, and to the side. I also really liked the design of the Psychic Gym (Olympia) in XY. Visually stunning!

Worst? Steel Gym in G/S/C & HGSS (Jasmine) because its not much of a puzzle. I just feel that they could have done something cool to correspond with steel types.

I've always really liked the designs of the Ice type gyms/ice theme gyms. I like sliding around on the ice tiles. So gyms like Pryce's, Wallace's, Candice's, Brycen's, etc. You get the idea.

It's not my favorite but I do really think it's cute how Whitney's gym is in the shape of a Clefairy. Olympia's gym in XY is very stunning too though, like Toshiro said.

My personal favorite is the new gym for Flannery in ORAS, the part around her with the Japanese maple trees and the entire spa vibe is just really aesthetically pleasing to me tbh, same with Norman's little dojo. All of the gyms in ORAS got really great updates compared to the originals though.

I'm with Toshiro here, Olympia definitely had one of the best Gym designs which at least makes up for the fact she herself is mostly forgettable. I also loved the lilypad puzzle with Marlon's Gym, and the fact it'd definitely be a place I'd like to go for a swim.

Most Ice and Water themed gyms... which brings me to the Sootopolis City Gym. I absolutely loved it. I like those kinds of puzzles, and to be an ice-ish themed gym to a Water gym leader was really cool. Some others I really liked...

Can't remember most of the gyms designs but I have liked most of the ice/grass type based gyms.Also the bug type gym in black/white was great for me!

My least favorite is easily Surge's Gym. The puzzle wasn't really a puzzle, but relies on luck and takes very long. Aside his, it's common the first Gym of a game is pretty boring.

My favorite designs are Candice's and Volkner's, their Gyms puzzles were interesting and in Candice's case, I love the ice slide puzzles.
