    Have you ever gambled before? It can be professional gambling, such as poker, or kid gambling, like "I bet you 5 dollars you can't make the shot from half court"

    If you do, how often do you win or loose?

    Also, how often has the situation in my thread title and first sentence happened to you?

    If you don't gamble, why?
     
    I won $20 once from one of those scratchers. Other than that, I don't waste money on gambling.

    Luck is not always on my side, so gambling away my money is not a good thing to do. I would lose anyways.
     
    Yes, I play in poker and I bet I can make different shots in basketball.
     
    I play a mean Texas hold em' which involves a lot of a betting. Sometimes I don't have money on me so instead I'll play with chips or something. I usually win because I just smile the whole time. Since I'm terrible at keeping a straight face I just keep a dumb face.

    Works everytime. ;)
     
    I love me some gambling. I often play a round of poker with some buddies of mine. I usually restrain myself from losing more than twenty dollars a night, and this usually works well for me. Sometimes I win upward of $100 and sometimes I lose my $20 and get out of there. XD

    LOL no, I wouldn't owe anyone money. I don't gamble or ask for money, because I hate having to give my money.
     
    I hate having to give money, but I never have much on me at a time so I often end up having to borrow.

    It's usually only a few bucks and I pay back the next day.

    First and most importantly, it's against my religion to gamble. Apart from that I've always felt that a penny saved is a penny earned; and it's much easier in my opinion to go work and earn more money that you can keep for sure rather than take big chances and potentially ruin your life through wagering for quick money. I'd also never bet against doing something stupid, since it's bad self-discipline imo and it can really injure both your body and/or your reputation.

    Other than that though, the games surrounding gambling are quite fun. As long as you're just playing for fun with harmless chips and not real money, I'm all up for some Texas holdem.

    I have been to casinos and all that jazz.

    I play poker with friends and in tournaments sometimes. Never won one, but on advantage, I am in the top 5.
