Mark is a pretty tall person standing at 6'9 and he weighs 135 lbs. He is also pretty slim since he doesn't eat that much. He has lengthy dark hair, azure blue eyes and sharp teeth. . He looks pretty weak in his human disguise but when he changes form he looks pretty strong and menacing. He usally wears a black jacket with white stripes going down it, and a white shirt with some "pictures" on it. He also wears blue "greyish" jeans with many pockets and black shoes with white shoelaces.

Personality:

Mark is a pretty shy person that normaly wouldn't go up to people he didn't know and speak to them unless he really had to, beacuse of that he hasn't really got any friends. He can pretty easily get depressed, but it doesn't happen too often beacuse people often seem to ignore him. Beacuse of him not having any friends and being to shy to get new friends most of the time he usally likes to read a book to think about other things or maybe just sit on a bench and think about life. He isn't that much of a heavy talker but if he talks to someone he trusts he can really open himself and be a nice person that isn't shy and or depressed. Since he reads books quite often his favorite place is proably alone in his room.

History:

Mark was born as the only child in a family, consisting of Mark and his two parents in the youkai dimension." They lived in a pretty rural area where there were visitors maybe once or twice a month. And since he didn't have a brother or a sister he got bored pretty often, since many people didn't visit his grandmother would always come once a month to entertain Mark with her books and other things he liked. Mark didn't really train much as a kid beacuse everybody else would always call him stupid names like weakling and other stuff, and beacuse of that he didn't really have any friends, all he had was his mother and his father who he didn't really like beacuse his father always thought Mark wasn't manly enough and that he always needed to train but Mark avoided it. When he wasn't with other youkai's he would usally just read a book while watching the nature. He read books about cool explorers who would discover new places and get into fights. Mark didn't really like the concept of fighting all that much so he didn't train with his father until much later in his life.

One day a new person moved into town, since it was pretty rare that other people would move there, almost everybody wanted to know who had moved in. It was a third Lycan family consisting of four members two parents, one daughter and one son. Mark thought they all were pretty nice, but he especially didn't like the son, the son was always being calling him names and teasing him. The only problem with it was that Mark befriended the girl that was named Alexa they quickly became friends and did alot together they played games and had fun for a few years, her brother wasn't nice but they didn't meet him too much. They were best friends until she stopped being with Mark, he didn't know why but he heard some people saying that she didn't think Mark was cool enough and that he was just a weakling. Mark being hurt by that stayed away from everybody else for a while, he didn't have any friends and he just got back to reading books again. It was like the good old days again, but with more teasing and more hate than ever.

When Mark was about 14 years old the bullying had reached a really high level and was at it's peak point but it all dropped down when his dad tried to show him how to fend them off. Mark wasn't too interested in it but he tried the best he could to make his dad happy. They started training in the woods once a week so Mark could get stronger and what Mark's dad thought happier. Mark got happier that the bullying started to fade away but he got depressed beacuse he didn't have any friends at all, he was just the creepy guy in the neighborhood that would just look at everybody and never go out to play. Mark still read his books, he still trained but something felt different, and it was making him sad he felt like he could never be succesfull in life beacuse his dad always said that he was bad and that he should stop reading books.

One day when he went out to train, his dad was just going to go get some water for the training, when he was 16 years old. When he waited for dad, an Incubus walked out of nowhere and started threatening him about how if he didn't leave the Incubus's "land" he would "rip" him apart. Mark got kind of nervous but couldn't resist to think that he was strong enough to beat him up, he had trained alot afterall. Mark started to get into fightning position, it would be his first fight so he needed to concentrate alot to win this. But right when he was going to jump at the Incubus he got scared he felt a chill going through his spine, he thought. "Is this really me? I like to read books not to fight between life and death." Mark started to shake and he couldn't do it, he wanted to read books not fight he didn't want to be like his dad. The Incubus started to laugh at Mark beacuse he was shaking and took a running leap at him. Mark got really beat up, if it wouldn't have been for his dad saving him at the last second he could have maybe died. His dad took the Incubus down and a "new" battle started. It looked like his dad was having alot of trouble with the Incubus now, Mark had to make a life changing decision he could either try to save his dad or abandon him. Mark got really scared so he did what he thought was the right thing and... abandoned him, he ran and ran and ran until he came home. When he was there he felt so dumb for not trying to help his dad, he didn't say anything to mom or anyone, he would just let it stay there in his brain, he could never stop thinking about it. A few days later mom was starting to get worried so she went out to start looking for him. What she found was proably one of the worst things that had ever happend to Mark ever, his father had died. He didn't really like him all that much but he was now feeling even lonlier than ever, before he had a dad that would always support him through tough times and help him work hard to become stronger and never give up, Mark didn't really follow it that much since he was always into his books but now all of that was gone and he would proably just be like a corpse that would just lay down and rot. Atleast that is what he thought would happen.

A year later or so his mom wanted him to learn more things, so he could get smarter and wiser so he could potentially get a good job, house, friends and a better understanding about how everything is so he could get a good life and maybe come over hisdead father so she signed him up for Youkai Academy.

Besides the fact that your character has been magically genderbent into a girl for the day due to mage shenanigans? Not really. Most of the things to know are things your character will probably be told over the course of his first day. I imagine that PinkSapphire will mention anything I missed.

I hope to flesh out my character a bit more considering... stuff.

Anyways, I plan to dedicating myself more to this RP and all!

Name: Kakusu Mabayui Tengoku

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Species: Youko

Appearance: Kakusu is unusually short for his age, standing 5 feet tall. His slim and skinny build would suggest him not being fit but instead little to nothing supernatural. Kakusu has a olive tanned skin that is soft and smooth. To his disdain, people often assume his age based on his height. His silky, brown hair suggests cleanliness. It is long and extends down down to his waist neatly. His bangs are spread over his forehead, each at an uneven length being the only part of his hair looking untidy. He occasionally smiles and most of his negative emotions are tacit and implicit, never appearing outright on his face. His crimson red eyes seem to occasionally glow and when Ikari is in control, they become bright orange. Kakusu's eyebrows are neatly trimmed and his face is clean with no trace of facial hair.

His uniform is tidy, soft and crisp. Scars extend from his back's midsection up to his neck although hidden by his hair. Not a trace of his clothing appears outright scruffy and usually is presentable.

Personality: Kakusu is a very calm, peace-loving individual, who dislikes fighting for the sake of killing although he can be somewhat competitive, but shy around others. He dislikes using his fire and prefers to fight using other methods, but is usually forced to use his fire due to being physically frail.

Kakusu has something of a dormant personality. This personality tends to go by the name of Moretsu Ikari and is a submerged personality that embodies warlike traits. Ikari is sadistic in combat, cocky and arrogant, but he has the combat prowess to back it up. This personality arose from Kakusu's need to correspond with the world that he feels is harsh. The two have a complicated relationship although Ikari geniunely cares about Kakusu's well being. As long as Kakusu has the Magatama Necklace, Ikari remains sealed. However, when this necklace is removed, Ikari can indefinitely take over Kakusu's body if he succombs to pain or emotion.

Likes: Nature, Meditating, Creativity

Dislikes/Fears: Large Fires, Bullies, Crowds

History: Kakusu never knew his father (who died before he was born) although he knew his Youko mother. When Kakusu was born, he showed no sign of being a Youkai. He and His mother lived in the City of Tokyo for 7 years. During this time, his mother tried to keep him away from the dangers of the world and sheltered him. When he was 7 years old, his Youko powers went out of control and burned down the apartment he and his mother lived with him, his mother inside with her and Kakusu himself escaping unharmed aside from a few scars on his back. Since this occured, Kakusu was shunned by his mother's side of the family and blamed for her death. He was forced to wander the streets of Tokyo for almost a month before he was found by his Grandfather, who hadn't ever met Kakusu. During this period of time, Kakusu became more aquainted with human Society and his fire went out of control a few times. His grandfather had heard of the disturbances and had been searching frantically for Kakusu. He moved in with his grandfather (on his mother's side) at his temple out in the country.

Kakusu enjoyed living with his grandfather and his way of life. Kakusu's grandfather was generous and always encouraged his to follow his heart. Even though the rest of his family rejected Kakusu, he embraced him wholeheartedly. At the monestary, he was surrounded by nature and became very found of being surrounded by quiet and nature.

His grandfather, who is a Youko, found out that Kakusu had, strangely enough, inherited the full blown Youko abilities that had skipped his daughter and were gained by his grandson. When Kakusu started more showing more extreme and dangerous traits of being a Youkai(including moving with unordinary speed, starting fires more frequently, and his eyes became an unnatural color) his grandfather trained him to prevent himself from starting fires. Through his rigorous lessons Kakusu learned about Youko and was given a ruby magatama necklace to seal his fire ability in to an extent although his Grandfather felt it wasn't good enough so he sent his grandson off to the Youkai Academy against Kakusu's will.

Kakusu's life at the academy was solitary and most contact he made was with his roommate and his Teacher Higoroshi. He was inflicted with an illness for a while but now he is returning back to what he hopes to be an as regular as possible life.

Weakness: Kakusu's trusting is sometimes confused with being guilible. He is kind to just about anyone who does not engage him in combat and even then, he can be fairly polite. He also has a frail physical condition where his bones break fairly easily. It is unknown why, but Kakusu also seems to have a fairly unique trait... ever since he was born, a series of unfortunate events has occured around Kakusu for some unexplained reason... his massive intake of bad luck is significantly powerful.

Sorry I haven't posted, went to an anime convention on Saturday and didn't get home til yesterday. I also found out before I got home yesterday that there was a death in my family. I should be able to get a post up soon though
