2nd Gen Your Box is Full!

In both generations I and II, you needed to SWITCH boxes if they got full, and you couldn't capture Pokémon if a box you were currently in was full. Have you ever had this happen to you while playing a Generation I and II game, and what did you think of having to switch boxes when the current box was full?

Done my head in specially if you were after a legendary and forgit to make sure your box wasnt full, one of the best changes they made was switching the box automatically

bc i played gen III before I and II (sorta), this did happen to me. had no clue it would. then i'd get mad and be like FINE I'LL GO CHANGE THE BOX and then forget again bc something else distracted me lol. at least this only happens in 2 generations out of almost 8 so it's not like it's that big a deal now if you at least know about it. and they're so old now i think people are aware.

It annoyed me because sometimes I like to load up a save and mess around with no intention of actually saving so I don't have to worry about wasting items or whatever. You can't really do that with the first two gens unless all the Pokemon you want to use are in your current party or box. At least gen 2 let you move your Pokemon around though. Organising your boxes was even more of a pain in R/B/Y.
