Still playing Pearl slowly and I'm about to challenge the 7th Gym. I have my full team now but a couple of the Pokemon still need to evolve and I'll hopefully evolve them soon after I get this 7th Badge. So my Pearl Team is:

- Murkrow (soon to be a Honchkrow, traded in as an Egg from my Heart Gold)

- Magmar (soon to be a Magmortar, traded in as a Magby Egg from my Heart Gold)

I also started a Moon playthrough recently since I haven't played through any Alola game in almost 3 years and I actually never played Moon before since my preferred versions were Sun and Ultra Sun. I wanted to revisit the Alola region and use the only Alola starter that I never used before since it's my least favorite out of the three but I wanted to give it a chance in this playthrough and it's been working out fine for now. I "completed" the first Island and just arrived on the second Island. My Moon Team is:

My current 'franchise team' is Swampert, Salamence, Alakazam, Chansey, Scizor and Infernape. Imagine how I felt when Generation VIII came out without any of them - now it is only lacking Infernape, and I am waiting to update the team for the new generation until I can do so in a game with my favourite Pokémon in.
Meanwhile, my casual Generation VIII team is my profile picture, and I am seeking advice with my 'Champion' team over on the Competitive forum.
 
So I made the chibi team, but completely forgot about using bidoof, thats:

cleffa, farfetch'D, shuppet, torchic, panpour, & onix. I really want to add my bidoof, because its actually OP in blaze black (especially with that one move I gave mine) cleffa is a destroyer of worlds 0.o

Lilac is in the PC, since Weather Ball is an Egg Move. There are numerous Water Trainers around Sunyshore City. She and Scar are pretty good at handling them.

Lotte and Hubie performed exceptionally well when I used lots of X Items like X Special and X Speed in battle. The latter very nearly swept through Cynthia's entire team, only going down to her final Pokémon; Milotic, from Mirror Coat.
 
I am playing through Pokemon Emerald on Twitch. We are using Pokemon that my chat and I believe are under-appreciated and not used often by people. Currently we are 5 badges in and currently have:

Minun
Seviper
Breloom
Marshtomp

Beloom and Marshtomp are probably going to be replaced, as they are commonly used. Might add Chimecho and someone else. Curious to see how the rest of the playthrough goes!
 
I finally circled back to this thread and am so glad to see we're still going strong! I am FINALLY playing through Pokémon Shield and haven't even got to the first gym yet, BUT my current team is as follows:

I am personally trying to maintain a team of all Galar mons. I am thinking I will switch out Yamper for Hattenna when I can find it. I've also considered switching out Nickitt for Impidimp because I think the Dark/Fairy combo will have more utility than a dark type alone, but idk, not crazy about the design. OH, and I LOVE Cufant's design and have considered adding it to the party in place of another at some point but seems I may have to do it later. We'll see. ;)
 
I am playing a few Gens at the same time (which include Gen 2 well remake of Gen 2 , 4, 5 and 7 every now and again ) to experience my childhood with Gen 4 and experience the older Gens I missed :)

So far I beat the First Gym In Heart Gold with my lovely team :) which include :

Pear - Level 17 Bayleef
Disco - Level 3 Hoothoot
Cheese - Level 3 Spinarak
Cheddar - Level 7 Rattata
Nugget - Level 10 Bellsprout
Sparky - Level 12 Mareep

Pear and Sparky really tore through the Gym :) and Cheddar and Nugget were great too :)

I think Pear was pretty high leveled cause I was worried about the Gym as everyone says the Chikorita line gets wrecked with a lot of the early gyms and I love walking with Pear so he is always in the front when battling which gives him a lot of exp but it was still a tense match and fun :)

Playing a time Warp Challenge in Hoenn at the moment. On my way to Fortree City
Lvl 41 Perry (Blaziken). Named after Peri peri chicken.
Lvl 40 Shadow (Nuzleaf - soon to he Shiftry, about to get the leaf stone on route 119). A Ninja-esk type name.
Lvl 40 Fang (Seviper) named for obvious reasons.
Lvl 42 Kalahari (Vibrava) named after the Kalahari desert since its a ground type.
Lvl 41 Goose (Altaria) because it looks like one.
Will get a Relicanth once I learn dive. Dunno what I'll call it.
 
Haven't posted in this thread for a while but I finished my Pearl playthrough a couple of months ago with the final team of Torterra, Machamp, Honchkrow, Magmortar, Girafarig and Milotic. I also stopped playing Moon but I plan to continue a few week from now when I have more time and patience for all of the cutscenes and dialogue of this game, I'm still on the 2nd Island with a team of Brionne, Pikachu, Growlithe and Mudbry.

Currently I'm playing through Red version since the only Gen 1 game I played was Yellow on VC and I always wanted to complete the OG Red since that's where the Pokemon games started, I'm almost ready to challenge Koga for the 5th Gym Badge and my current team is Venusaur, Nidoking, Growlithe and Snorlax.

Grinding in this game is so slow...I'd actually be around 40-42 but I grinded a couple hours because fights got very cumbersome.

Just for reference: when I got Bea's badge her Machamp was lvl 36. I'm now at the front of the next gym and haven't even reached that threshold, yet. So far I'm still waiting for the Exp system to become broken. I even did some raids and used the Exp-Items I got.
