Wow, there really are a lot winter lovers here.
Personally, I almost hate winter, but I have a good reason for that. Here where I live, winter lasts for almost six months. For me, winter means biting cold and dark mornings. I go to school before sunrise and get out only after the sun's long gone, because it rises around noon and sets four hours later. We have snow, but it's often too cold outside for us to be able to make snowballs or snowmen, as the snow just falls apart if you try. When it would be warm enough for the snow to be wet, it all melts away in a few days. So, yeah, I'm not all that into winter... Sorry, guys!
For me, the highlight of the year is when the nature comes back to life. Grass begins to grow, everything turns green again, you get rid of the blasted darkness and the freezing air. I was also born at this time of year, so maybe that affects me, too. I love the chilly breeze of spring! It's not too warm, but there's light out and way more colours than just white and gray.
Not that I don't think winter has its upsides, too. For example, winter is a really beautiful season, sometimes even more so than any other season. For me, it just has too many downsides.
So yeah, my ultimate favourite of the seasons is spring, while summer comes in second.
