Mine was Rattata. XD Not a very good pokemon, but I still caught it to get the experience to level up my character.

My first was a Weedle but I seem to be lucky because there are a bunch of Venonat where I live.
First catch was an Eevee. Spent ages walking around trying to track down a damn Ratatta and just as I'm about to give up, nope, Eevee showed up at random... wasn't even listed as nearby when I found it which was rather odd.
Still, not complaining.

Luckily, a Spearow appeared right outside my house, so I didn't even have to go outside to catch it.

I got a Clefairy also. My friend was looking for a Pikachu but I got it before him. Although I would've love more if I had caught a Pidgey or Pidgeotto as my first.
After picking my starter my first pokemon was a Pidgey. I had just come out of the screen and there it was waiting for me :) I walked all of a few steps away and then a Bulbasaur popped up to. Got ready for my morning run and went out and ended up catching 3 Eevee's in a row. Apparently my neighborhood is a hotspot for Eevees :)

An Eevee! It wasn't the first Pokemon I encountered since I let the Zubat in my backyard get away, but the stationary Eevee I met after dinner was much easier to catch, lol.

Mine was an Eevee. I felt very lucky until the next ten or twenty things were just Rattatas and Pidgeys.
