    [PokeCommunity.com] Your most badass moment

It happens to all of us, and it can often take us by surprise.

Throughout your lives, you will experience those moments where you are put in a situation and something in your head just snaps. You are pushed to the limit; you are driven to do or say something that not even you could have predicted and for that moment, you are amazing and everybody in your vicinity stands in awe of the steaming pile of fierce that you have become.

In that moment, you were a badass.

Describe to us your most badass moment.

I'm going to describe two of these moments. Nice thread, by the way.

This one time, we were on campus and one of my friend wanted to play a prank of me, so he dropped his books on purpose. I went to help, while another friend was approaching me from behind, in order to shove me. Well I saw him through his shadow, turned around quickly and did a back-house kick which shoved him down, then stood up superior. The look on their eyes, lol.

Another time was while at class, I was dozing off and looking outside. My teacher noticed and notified the other students of my absent-mindness with a gaze (so I heard). He then proceeded to throw a chalk at me-he has that habit-and shake me back to class, but to everyone's surprise I CAUGHT IT MID-AIR WITHOUT LOOKING. I felt something coming at me so I raised my hand to catch it, simple as that. Yeah, I was feeling Batman for a whole day.

Both stories happened like 5 years ago. Middle school days were the best years of my life.

    -------

At my college prom, I did a little set up with the head boy. We both did Physics so in one of our lessons, I arranged it so that I would give a little surprise speech to my peers. Only a small handful of people knew in advance.

So he calls my name, I walk up on stage and look to my peers. I begin my speech, which I have pretty much remembered off by heart to this very day.

    "Attention collegues."

Now for some reason, the audience burst into laughter. I think it was the tone in which I said it in or something, but yeah, it threw me off for a split moment. Fortunately I recovered quickly.

"We have gathered here tonight for one reason. To celebrate the end of our college education. Many obsticles have swarmed us . . . from the Darkest abyss."

I get some more genuine laughter, which spurs me on.

"We rose against these challenges. We vanquished our opponents! Now . . . We . . . REIGN SUPREEEEEEEME!

A fairly long pause to let it sink in before my conclusion.

"I have one last thing to say to all of you. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours, whatever they may be. Thank you."

I bow and the room erupts into cheer. I outstaged the vice principle's speech, which was pretty genius. Everyone seemed to enjoy my speech and a couple of people complimented me on it too. Damn good times . . .

This would probably be one of the many times I join in a video game and start crushing my opponents so hard that I have to handicap myself just so it feels more fair... only to continue crushing them.

Probably when I completed Algebra in three weeks. Or when I won the most impossible game of Capture The Flag ever. And that's my life's version of hardcore.

Either cutting some major rug at my high school senior class prom, or completely dominating my buddies at Mario Kart Wii during one Thanksgiving. There was trash talk everywhere that day :P

I also kicked some major butt in a few Pokemon battles during an anime convention, and that made me feel pretty awesome :)

Last Tuesday, at school, I jumped from the a couple feet before the stairs onto the railing, but fell off and managed to land it by rolling. Thus marking the day I did a barrel roll

I was dressed colorful and looked like a little kid (I look really young too) and I had my backpack on. It was a Hello Kitty backpack, cause you know, it's uni, who cares about your backpack? I was walking to class and these guys were driving by me and pointing out the windows and laughing at me because I looked like a kindergartner. I gave them the bird and said, "Kindergartner says **** you."

Kindergarten in mind, when I was in K, there were so many of us in that class that they had to hire another K teacher, and she was on the 3rd/4th grade hall. So everyday, I passed by this girl that made fun of me cause I was in K. I know right. That's so bad to be a kindergartner. And one day I just said "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" The next day, this kid was like "What did you say to that girl yesterday? She was crying and she's not even here today!" I never saw her again. Either she timed her family moving schools perfectly, or she let a short kindergartner scare her off.

When I was 7, I asked why girls couldn't have their shirts off when we were taking a hike during the day at my summer day camp. I didn't like the reply, so I said "It's not like they have any ninnies to hide yet."

When I was 10, some guy on the bus was making fun of me for no reason. I scratched him. He bled and started yelling I had rabies. I was so proud.

In 8th grade, my friend said I was weak and said to slap him on the face as hard as I could. He had a hand print on his face for two class periods. Teacher saw. Didn't do a damn thing about it and said, "He asked for it, so it's not like it was a surprise attack or anything."

In 11th grade, I got mad at someone and threw my jacket off like a badass and got in their face. Road house.

At graduation, I danced in the line waiting on my diploma. Then I graduated. Which, you know, in this society, it's a badass thing. Right?

Today, I lived to tell these tales.

I struggled in science for the whole year in seventh grade, and then I got an near-perfect score on the finals.

My grades were rather low for a good portion of my high school year, but now I learned that I have 3 A's now.

Three of my moments were in P.E. when we were playing floor hockey. I'm not very athletic, and when the teams were picked, I generally ended up picked for a team close to the end. I'm very good at hockey though, but since we didn't play it much, no one really knew.

The first time was in elementary. My team didn't think I was that good, so they made me play as goalie. Our team was a lot better than theirs, so I decided to rush out of my net. The ball came rolling to the middle of the gym, and I took a shot at the other net from there and scored. Everyone stopped and looked at me, then cheered after a really delayed reaction.

The second time was in middle school, and my grade 6 class was playing against the grade 8s. We played for nearly 30 minutes and it was still 0-0, but I ended up taking a shot that I didn't think would go in, and it just went under their goalie's arm for a goal, and we won the game 1-0.

My third moment in high school wasn't quite as great, but it was one game where I was picked dead last for a team. We ended up losing pretty badly, with the score ending 9-4. I felt pretty good though, since I scored 3 of our 4 goals.

It's pretty small, but back in Year 8 maths a friend of mine was borrowing my Correction Twink Pen and thought it would be pretty funny to throw it back to me from the back of the class to the front where I sat. Somewhat she called out my name a little and she thought it was gonna hit me. Somehow I just put out my hand like it was instinct and was able to firmly catch the pen without turning around.

This moment comes from the least athletic person in the universe. We were playing indoor broom hockey in gym, and it was two on two matchups. So me, my partner and our oppenents have 10 seconds left in our mini-game and the ball ended up on the opposite side of the gym near our opponents goals. I sprint towards the ball, somehow outrunning my opponent (he was one of the members of the track team, too), and manage to score our winning goal. That was pure badassness in my opinion.

I don't really do much so badass moments are extremely rare for me but I did once chase and wrestle a dog to the ground and pry open it's mouth, which cut my finger open btw, to get a baby seagull out.
Everyone started having a go at me for tackling the dog but when I looked down and saw the little fluffy ball of feathers in my hand looking at me I couldn't care less :3

I always feel badass when I win 6-0 against my friends in pokemon battle in ubers. (It happens often too xD)

The best moment though, is this project in computer science III (was the biggest project of the year as well) that I got a 105% on. Teacher said I was the only person to finish above 100%, out of his 25 years of teaching.

Okay well these two stories are somewhat related.

There was this girl in gradeschool who was my "friend" until I found out she would talk about me (to my face sometimes, even) using a code name she came up with because I came to school once with curly hair and she thought all girls with curly hair looked like.. well it was nasty so I'm not going to say it here. (My hair is naturally curly/ wavy but I would straighten it every day.)

Well in highschool, she was trying to "win over" one of the "popular girls" by complimenting her curly hair before homeroom class started; and I announced that she shouldn't be so tactless, and that I didn't want the girl to succumb to her.. erm.. terrible backstabbing. Then I echoed the name she used for me and said "thought I didn't know this whole time? Don't turn it around and use it to your advantage against our lovely classmate." Well needless to say she turned bright red and was shocked. Then "How did you know?" and when she said that I guess she just realized she messed up by admitting to it with that statement. Then she picked up her bags and sat at the back, far from both of us.

Basically, anyways.. it happened like 8 years ago so I don't remember super-details.

Another one was when some little.. well I don't want to be offensive over PC. But she was terrible. She used to be a friend in gradeschool, too. And ditched me saying "Everything you like is dumb, I never liked it, I just used you" etc.. it was nastier than I made it sound.. and over an email too. (I liked videogames and comics.) This was right before highschool started.
She was also the one that the other girl would talk to about me right in front of me with that codename. Anyways, I figured that she did it because she can't think for herself, and her and the other girl could now try and follow the "popular girl." You know.. try to get in the IN crowd- as I would see them copy things that the popular girl would do when they got on and off the bus. The popular girl brought a book and started wearing a demin jacket, the next couple of days they'd do exactly the same. Things like that. It was ridiculous. Even my mother pointed it out and she didn't know anything about the situation. Well, I guess after a while this girl got tired of them trying to.. kiss up to her, and she "ditched them."

She THEN proceeded to join MY group of friends and tried to win them over by pretending to like all the stuff she admitted to hating only 2 years prior. (videogames etc) And "spazz" and get excited over games and things that she not only never had, but never played. Well I'm not going to tell my friends who they should or shouldn't talk to.. (I'm not that kind of person) so at times she would sit at our table. Whatever, I'm a civil person, I can handle it. But one time she gave me a simple card at Christmas and the first line was "I am so glad we're friends again."
I told her I couldn't accept it because we weren't friends again and would never be, and that she was delusional if she was trying to find genuine friends by putting up a fake front. I then dropped the card in her lap, and walked away.

By then I didn't care if I looked unforgiving, as she hurt me bad back then and I finally got to say what I felt.

I felt like a badass then because I was able to make their terrible deeds backlash onto themselves. Maybe I'm a dog for it but I definitely felt that I was finally confident enough to say what I felt and not let others affect me or brush over the things that hurt me. I stood up for myself.

It was my first prom night. I looked smokin' hot. (As some random people said. XD) There was a bunch of people trying to ask me out, but I already had a date. Then there was this popular dude, who tried to ask ME out! I was freaked out at first, thought it was a dream, pinched myself, then believed. Unfortunately, that dude ALREADY had a date! It was >Insert Meanie Name Here<, the most popular girl in our entire school. She walked up to me and said, "Terra, you just can't fit in with the popular kids, got that? Now stay away from my effin' boyfriend and shut the hell up, before I shut it for you." Then I was all, "You shut your effin' mouth up. Who the hell are you to talk to me?" and used my kick-my-enemy-in-her-stomach-routine (that I have been practicing for days XD). She fell to the floor, hitting the leg of a table which had the drinks, making it all fall into her face, covering her pink and girly dress with brown chocolate brownies and red drinks. >:D Everyone took a picture of her, and I became MUCH more popular than her. XD

For me it was one time when me and my band were playing a gig, the singer completely forgot the words to the song we were playing and we all looked at each other thinking "uh oh...", and since the crowd obviously knew what was happening inspiration struck and I improvised an awesome solo for where he was meant to be singing. Then everyone cheered and it felt great... Best moment of my life haha. xD
