6th Gen Your Pokemon X and Y Team So Far?

The announcement of the Kanto starters made me consider having one on my team.
So far, I have my starter (most likely Chespin), and Charmander. The other four will be Kalos-only Pokemon.

I've also made a decision to not use any of the revealed Pokemon and instead, use Pokemon that will still be unrevealed by launch. I like the surprise factor.

Except Yveltal. I like Yveltal. I probably will use Yveltal. Skybacon is my best friend.

My Kalos Pokemon Team (so far):

Charizard

Chespin Evolution

Vaporeon

Pangoro

Raichu/ Helioptile Evolution

Honedge

so far its

1. Fennekin Evo
2. Vena
3. Pangoro
4. Sylveon
5. Salamance
6. Helioptile evo/Orroto/Lama thingie evo/mawhile

I may change it however

It's super hard to choose a fire-type this generation. First there was Talonflame, i was almost certain that i would use it. But then they announced the Torchic event. I kinda still wanted Talonflame but i also want to recreate the times when i destroyed everything with my over powered Blaziken. And now i also have the option of getting a charmander, which would recreate the days where i destroyed everything with my Charizard.

I'm still not sure which fire pokemon i want. Right now my teams looks like this:

- Froakie
- Torchic
- Bulbasaur
- TBD
- TBD
- TBD

The three starters, and I want Swirlix for that EPIC ability.
Definitely want Novern and Pancham/Pangoro too.

Am I the only person who doesn't want their team flooded with starter pokemon?

I don't really see the appeal in using old starters, especially Torchic since a Hoenn remake seems likely.

On the topic of my team, I was sure I would use Fennekin, but Chespin grows on me more every day. A great final form for Chespin could clinch it.

I don't know wich starter to choose but my pokemon team will probably be like this.

If I choose Chespin:
-Chespin
-Torchic/Fletchling
-Squirtle
-Pancham
-Noivern
-Helioptile

If I choose Froakie:
-Froakie
-Charmander
-Skiddo
-Inkay
-a Fairy type
-an electric type

If I choose Fennekin:
-Fennekin
-Bulbasaur
-a water type(neither of water type of the 6g attract me )
-a fairy type
-a fighting typ
-a flying type.

So far according to the trailers thus far:

Fennekin
Noivern
Axew
Mawhile
(???)
(???)

If my obvious-known-to-all theory of Flabebe is correct that it is going to be a dual-type of Fairy and Grass and it lives up to my expectations to be a fine grown-up Pokémon in the later evolution forms then i'll shove him/her as well in my team.

-Gaia the Chespin (Its final evo is INCREDIBLE)
-Charcolt the Charmander (Original starter FTW!)
-Muramasa the Honedge (It's a sword possessed by ancient soul that UNSHEATHES ITSELF IN BATTLE. What more do you need?!)
-Davy Jones the Malamar (It's just so villainous, and I love it for that.)
-Nimbus the Slyveon (FAIRY-TYPE POKEMON!)
-Grimlock the Tyrantrum (Uh, hello? Actual T-REX POKEMON?!)

Of course, if any newly released Pokémon decide to be more awesome than any of my choices, then my team may have to change...Goomy...

Froakie (Final Evo)
Honeedge
Chespin (Final Evo, And If I can, I'm gonna get all 3 starters on my game, just because)
Fenekkin
Squirtle.

I still have one slot, probaly gonna be a legendary, but im not sure yet.

My planned Y team so far consists of Froakie (I'll evolve him), Noivern, Pangoro, Talonflame, Malamar, and Gogoat. I'm gonna be using all Kalos Pokemon in Y version.

fennekin, blaziken, charizard, talonflame, sylveon, helioptile. though this is liable to change at times

That's a lot of Fire-types. Better hope there aren't any Ground-type specialists in the Gym leaders or E4 this time around.

My planned team is similar to Kenzen's (the first four being the same). Also we don't have to worry much about ground as much as two of them (Charizard and Talonflame) are Fire/Flying. Now Rock is a bigger worry but Blaziken can cover for that. Water on the other hand will be tough. So I need a Grass type, most likely I'll go with Gogoat as it's my favorite grass type this generation (other than Chespin), in order to cover for that.

If any of those Pokémon have moves like Gravity, then that Flying-type advantage will be null and void. Also, Ground types can commonly learn Rock-type moves, so it isn't outside of the realm of possibility that a Ground type could take out a Fire/Flying-type.

I'm now leaning towards the idea of having both Chespin and Bulbasaur. If Chespin is hopefully a physical attacker, they'll be different enough. Especially when they're fully evolved--Mega Venusaur's weaknesses to Flying and Psychic isn't very redundant compared to the possible weaknesses of Chespin's final evolution.

Assume everything will be fully evolved.

Froakie
Spritzee/Mawile
Gogoat
Clauncher/Azumarill
Houndoom
Noivern

but I mean really I'm just going to end up catching most of what I encounter and probably will find more things that I want to use. :3

Well out of the past generation Pokémon thus far only Golurk, and Claydoll's lines can learn it but that's by move tutor. However you're very right about Rock moves...thankfully they don't get stab unless if it's a Ground/Rock type, but that's where Gogoat comes in you see ;). Actually I'm starting to think I need to make my Gogoat the strongest of the team...also I plan to switch out my pokemon every once in awhile so I can use a variety of the new and old Pokémon :3. I want to use an Absol,Mawile,Ampharos, and Lucario if they're in available before challenging the league. Actually...I could use Ampharos as my electric Pokémon...used one in Johto and it's a decent Pokémon, and now it has a MegaEvolution with Dragon so it'll be helpful :3.

So far...

Chespin or Froakie finale forms(depending on kanto starter)

Venusaur or Blastoise (assuming you get them early)

Blaziken

Mawile

Sylveon

Malamar

I'm sure once I see the full dex this list will change drastically :)
