Homework is enjoyable, as long as there is a limit to how much.
Doing 60 Physics numericals, 2 Chemistry assignments and 2 Math assignments is not educational.

I tend to only do homework as long as it's not in huge piles. I don't care if I'm going to be scolded. I am vocal about being annoyed (even to teachers).

Anyway, I just skipped the vacation assignments, who wants to destroy their vacation?

    *Seriously nods head*

Yes, when teachers give us such huge homeworks or in particular "assignments" to complete for which they too know that we will use a guide, it's annoying.

I too have a policy like not completing my projects, but; as the school re-open day approaches I do complete in anyway to get the marks. it helps securing a better percentage.

If the homework is doing coursework or revising for an exam then yes, I agree.
Otherwise, it is completely pointless imo.

Homework is not a waste of time, it's responsibility, revision of all that you've learnt in school. I try to do all the homework I get from school, and believe me, it's not a small piece of cake. It takes me around 2-3 hours to finish my daily homework, and sometimes I have bigger loads. I don't homework is all bad, though it can be a little bothering at times.

  • Do you feel homeworks are good?
A: 50:50. I could say it's good because we can advance study the thing we learn today and use it as an advantage in case of pop-up quizz or projects. I can never forget a single thing after doing homework. On the other hand, it sometimes gets on my nerves because the homework is somewhat pointless. I mean my would we do homework on a redundant thing?

Do you submit it on time?
    A: 9/10. I rarely submit it late.

I really like homeworks though sometimes I get annoyed since it's pretty long or it's just that hard especially mathematics. XD

I submit homeworks all the time. It's part of enhancing our mind. So yeah and most importantly I won't let my grades down or else, My parents would kill me. X_X

  • I can remember always doing my homework and submitting it on time during my first few years of secondary school. I used to do it on the day I got it so that it was done and out of the way.

Then.. idk, I kind of gave up. I started procrastinating a lot, if I did homework at all it was done the night before or sometimes even on the day it was due.

So yeah, i'm similar to loliwin; I didn't hate homework as such, I was just lazy and used to put off doing it til the last minute.

  • Believe it or not, homework ACTUALLY helps.
    I know right? Shocking!
    xD
    But really, it does...
So my advice is that you do it.
Even if you don't like it.
I learn this from experience. xP
Not that I like it now, I despise it with a passion.

Homework is all I do. d(''d)

Anyhow, in the traditional sense homework is perhaps the most important part of a given class. A teacher can give an hour long lesson on something, but unless work is done, most people will just forget everything because they have no chance or reason to use it. Not that it's enjoyable, but it can be very practical. I don't turn in everything I do on schedule, but I understand why I should, you know?
