I did enjoy the Dive Ball in generation III. But after I found out you couldn't even dive in D/P, I was like, "... Well this sucks ._."
But yeah, it was a good ball.

My favourite Poke ball has to be the origginal. I grew up with it, so I love it!

Remember the first movie where Mewtwo had his own custom ball... If only they had it in the game then it will definitely be my favourite!

Dusk Ball- A very good ball for capturing Pokemon at night. I also caught a Giratina using a Dusk Ball!

I've never even heard of that, but given its effect that's definitely my favourite now.

Otherwise though, and for looks, Premier Ball.

Generally they are, but to my knowledge the specialist balls (i.e. Moon Ball; Net Ball) are stronger than Ultra Balls when capturing the sort of Pokemon they're created for. ;D

I'm a fan of the classic Poke Ball. I don't think I have seen these new animations however. Is it possible to change the animation in the newer games? I read somewhere that it is, somewhere on this forum.

I try and stay away from Great and Ultra Balls, and I never use my Master Ball.

I like the Master Ball, but it takes the fun out of hard-to-catch Pokémon, so my favourite two are the Poké Ball and the Timer Ball. I think the Timer Ball is pretty nice looking, and the Poké Ball, well, i like something original :D.
