    Pokemon ONLINE

The beauty of an MMO is you don't have to socialize with everyone. You can do your own thing. I don't envision such a game as being a copy of the main games but online and with people everywhere, I see more of a WoW type game.

the more you get addicted, the more Pokémon you talk about

I am nowhere near addicted now as I used to be, back in Gen 1, and then again when Gen 4 began, but through Nuzlocke runs I learned to love Pokes I had never considered previously. I never post/talk about it though publicly since society thinks I'm too old to like Pokemon (as much as I do) but I...

    Has Pokemon changed?

The games haven't changed in style for me, but the scene definitely has. Back in the red-blue era, everyone had a Gameboy and Pokemon, so there was a LOT more real-world trading, and you actually felt like a Pokemon trainer. The physical games are all the same concept, which is nice, but there...

    Pokemon ONLINE

For years have I dreamed (literally and figuratively) about a game like this. RPG styles as a unique trainer. If anyone played Warcraft 3 Custom Games, there was a Pokemon World game, and I envision something like that, but obviously better. Oh my God was that fun. You start as a trainer and can...

What moves did you get using Metronome?

Basically every move in the book. When I got bored back in the early 2000's after beating the Elite 4, I would spend hours with a Clefairy "training" while only using Metronome. It sucked that the move only had 10 PP though.

    Riding Pokemon...on Land

Think about the episode in the anime where Ash competes in that race with Rapidash. It wasn't his own but he built a trust with it and the Rapidash no longer burned him when he rode it. I think to ride a Pokemon in the game it would have to make sense for that species of Pokemon. For example...

Before I buy-Is Pikachu's PokePark for lil' kiddies?

When you say mini-games, are we talking Pokemon Stadium-like games? Because I have played those 9 mini-games for over a decade now and I still love them.

If you could be a Gym-Leader/Elite-Four/Pokemon-League-Champion what would you be?

I used to be a "Gym Leader" in a competitive battling league/forum and I was Flying. But the rules there were that only 4 (or more) of the 6 Pokes had to be part Flying. In the short time that the league existed, I was 8 for 8 in defeating challengers (who could bring any Pokes they wanted to...

    Are cheats justified?

Exactly. Since perfect IV Pokemon do exist, 'cheating' is essentially speeding up a boring process.

    Are cheats justified?

When I battled competitively, I made my own legitimate Pokemon. My reasoning: If you want to have any success in battling, you need max IV pokes. Before I started Sav'ing, I would breed my own Pokes, get the nature I wanted, and EV train manually. I finally created a team. When I started...

    Is the main character spoiled?

I think the fact that the main character is only 10 years old and on a journey alone is irrelevant. Age is not treated the same in the Pokemon world as the real world (see the Pokemon morals thread). It's the dream of all kids to go on Pokemon journeys and meeting tons of new Pokemon, it's not a...

    Is the main character spoiled?

I like it. Sounds just as reasonable as a certain fishing rod only being able to catch one type of Pokemon.

Diffrences in Morality Between the Pokemon World and Our Own

For the first one, I mean, if I'm at a buddies house, and there's a bottle of vodka lying on the floor, I'm not going to pick it up and declare it mine. Obviously money/items found on the street can be yours, but general things that I find I try to get to the original owner if possible. The...

Diffrences in Morality Between the Pokemon World and Our Own

Some other differences: You find an item on the ground and immediately declare it yours. Even when you're in a warehouse, someone's home, etc. You can just walk into people's houses. People of very different ages being friends, engaging in the same activities, competing against each other, etc.
