We don't see Ash 24/7, even on his too infrequent visits home. Perhaps the last time he was in Kanto, he stopped by to check on his Pidgeot. He also could have visited with Duplinka, Casey, Richie, his Primape and we wouldn't know about it. Besides Ash isn't the only trainer to leave Pokemon...

Its obvious that Ash, Brock & Dawn have never heard the expression, or they choose to ignore it, that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. You would think by now when they have a problem and an answer just drops in their lap they would be at least a little suspicious?

I think its great that Jessie won her second ribbon although I would liked to have seen more of her contest battle. She has finally gotten serious about contests, can't wait to see her in The Grand Festival next season. Now a question, many gyms have places for an audience but most of the time...
