Yeah you're prolly right. But still, Kanto didn't have all the 2nd gen pokemon, and I think neither did Emerald. That was left to Colosseum which some people would not have had.

You have to beat colosseum first to trade Pokemon to FireRed. And I thiiink you may need to get the Ruby and Sapphire plates - cuz you need them to trade to Ruby and Sapphire on FireRed. Soo, I spose you'll have to wait till you beat the Elite Four =/

Im on Chapter 3 at the moment, and its really good so far! Havent played Colosseum in a while, so expecting some surprises ;)

You could connect FR and LG to colosseum. With the right Trainer 'sprites' too. So I dont see why Platinum wouldn't be able to. But I hope there are some more differences compared with the Emerald 'update'.

Hmm I guess not so much in this one, but there are ones I like. My Blaziken from Ruby, my Venusaur and Pigeot from LeafGreen and my Jirachi. I've always loved those ones for some reason xD And when they do well it's awesome [:
