I prefer moves that affect stats rather than X items. Metal Claw over X Attack for example. Though when I need to live a bit longer for when the opponent is spamming a fighting type move against my ghost pokemon.

I have to say the Zoroark Event and the Ferris Wheel during the Fall and Spring seasons. I was actually creeped out when the woman (Zoroark) attacked, blame creepy pasta.

The Ruby and Sapphire arc.

It really a pattern for me. One game I pick male. The next Game, as in moving from Ruby to FireRed, I pick female. So on and so on the more games I buy, though to be honest I always pick the female character in firered.

I usually catch pokemon I didn't catch before. Which gets annoying when my team doesn't have a pokemon that knows either Surf or Fly.

Maybe it shows that pokemon don't really need trainers to evolve in the wild, hence the wild pokemon whom evolved before they're suppose to.
