I think people see Legendaries as trophies, something to boast about. Personally I see them as the same as all of the other Pokémon, because I don't use Legendaries in my team so I don't care about their abilities. (Plus the fact you can catch them puts a dent in their legendary prowess. XD)

Agreed. Kanto is covered way, way too much. Give another region a chance - preferably Hoenn.

Hmm. Before this week I would have said Emerald (I still think Hoenn is a unique world in the Pokémon mythos) but I am really, really enjoying Pokémon White. Unova is like a Hoenn 2.0. So I'll go with joint Emerald and White. =)

Bought my copy of White today. (I know, miles and miles behind the times.) Picked Oshawott as a starter and named it Ossha. Made it to the first town and defeated N. I was on my lunchbreak at work, and I totally wanted to play more :C

This thread makes me remember the day my dad pointed out that Ekans = snake backwards, and Arbok = kobra (phonetic spelling of 'cobra') backwards. My mind =was= blown.
