Butters, my dog.
Until I go back to school next semester and have to turn to the dreaded alarm to wake me up in the mornings.. guaranteed that dog, 7-8 in the morning:
Jumps off the bed.
Walks to the door in my room.
Stares at me.
Walks over to the bed.
Lays his head on the bed, as close to my face as he can get.
If I ignore him, jumps back on the bed.
Stands and towers over me.
Breathes heavily.
Occasionally whines, or starts barking at me.
If I continue to ignore him, SITS ON MY HEAD! >.<
"MOM! I GOTTA TO OUTSIDE!" he says.. XP
Needless to say.. I have to wake up eventually with his little routine.
I usually go back to sleep after I let him out.. but only to repeat the waking up process a couple hours later over the same thing.. or he just wants to go outside so he can run around for a while, instead of staying cooped up in my bedroom while I sleep.
Unfortunately, he's my shadow, and refuses to be in any room other than the one I'm in.. so I can't really just boot him out of my room and shut the door... : /
It's alright though. It makes me sad to know there will be a time when I cannot wake to his adorible puppy face anymore.. :'(
