Take the political quiz:
and post your results

sounds about right for me except I should probably be closer to libertarianism
since I support a lot of the ideals of anarchy and am extremely against fascism

February 22nd, 2010, 6:48 AM

Odd...considering that I'm a self-professed Libertarian. XD

Interesting. I'm not totally sure what i am according to the chart, as libertarian means nothing to me, but i strongly disagree with communism. It's like saying that everyone should get the same including the one who sat and ate cheese all day, so fair its unfair.

February 22nd, 2010, 8:39 AM
Economic Left/Right: -3.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.31

February 22nd, 2010, 8:52 AM

-4.12, -2.10

Somewhat left, slight libertarian. Seems like the norm among the members here. xD

I'd swear I have done something like this some years before, just with (in)famous politicians like Hitler and Stalin being on the map for examples. I don't really remember my result though.
Ok, now where I'm ready I know it was exactly the same thing.
Interesting, I thought I as a german would get auto-nazified :D

You realise how innacurate that is?

Anyway I'm in the lower left quadrant (Liberal leftist). Funnily enough most people will be there as young people tend to be more liberal and PC is mostly under 21s.

February 22nd, 2010, 10:28 AM
Hmm. Not sure how accurate this is. Some questions were rather awkward with just "agree" or "disagree". Oh well, here's mine. Perhaps it'll be funny to look back on in the future.

Economic Left/Right: -3.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.33

February 22nd, 2010, 10:40 AM

Sounds right for a guy who supports both the European Socialist and the European Communist parties.
(And ironically the only politician I have voted yet is Zapatero- find him in the table (http://www.politicalcompass.org/images/internationalchart.gif) ._.)

February 22nd, 2010, 10:41 AM

man, im great.

also, that was almost tl;dr

Seems about right, I'm middle of libertarian/authoriatian with somewhat right leanings. Although some questions should have had an "i don't care either way" option

I Laugh at your Misfortune!
February 22nd, 2010, 11:07 AM

Geez, talk about neutral XD

February 22nd, 2010, 11:30 AM

That's right around perfect. I actually consider myself in the middle, leaning somewhat right.

Granted, some of the questions were too broad/didn't offer enough options (like neutral, hello), but otherwise yeah.

February 22nd, 2010, 12:17 PM

How about that for neutrality? xD

February 22nd, 2010, 1:49 PM
Im in the upper right quadrant very close to the top.

I feel a heavy aura of loneliness surrounding me in this thread. Someone hug me! (>;_;)>

February 22nd, 2010, 2:05 PM
It was pretty accurate based on what I thought I was.
It's just me though, I had to agree or disagree on matters I didn't care about at all.

February 22nd, 2010, 2:35 PM
They must have changed their thing into something that makes no sense, because libertarianism is not the opposite of authoritarianism, it's the opposite of socialist authoritarianism.

Also, I'm somewhere in the lower right quadrant, despite the biased questions they ask.

Actually the libertarianism you are thinking of is Capitalist Libertarianism (a right-wing form of libertarianism) the left-wing form of libertarianism is usually called Libertarian Socialism

This seems about right to me.

Sure, I got near the same result. :) http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=4.75&soc=1.44

How many times did we have THIS EXACT SAME THREAD.

Chibi should just sticky it and be done. >:P

I took it and the results are~
Economic Left/Right: -7.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.64

Yup, goes well with what I thought. I really consider myself a Social Democrat nowadays.

February 22nd, 2010, 4:03 PM

I always thought of myself more to the left. Always going on about communism and all.

February 22nd, 2010, 5:08 PM
I'm jumping in the bandwagon. By which I mean, I got a similar graph to the majority of you.

Economic Left/Right: -3.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.877

Seems right, although I don't know if I agree with communism. I wish some questions had a neutral answer.

February 22nd, 2010, 5:09 PM
Economic Left/Right: -3.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.10

The questions have become too biased on a couple scales, especially the economic one. I'm not quite that far to the economic left (communism), their questions just lean that way to begin with. I've taken this a few different times before, and that's what I've noticed. I'm roughly as libertarian as I thought I was, though.

And, for fun, I'll post my results from the past since I've posted them on another site I frequent.

June 17, 2006 results:
Economic Left/Right: -1.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.82

November 8, 2008 results:
Economic Left/Right: -2.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.64

September 20, 2009 results:
Economic Left/Right: -3.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.95

My guess is that I'll continue to move closer to libertarianism and continue to shift back toward the center on economics.

February 22nd, 2010, 5:41 PM

Economic Left/Right: -4.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.51

Some questions I didn't understand, to be honest. I've never really learned too much about politics.

February 22nd, 2010, 5:44 PM

Representing the few conservatives on PC \o/

They need an "I don't care" option for these quizzes =/

February 22nd, 2010, 8:01 PM
I haven't been around PC that long and I know I've seen this come up before.

I don't even need to take it again to know I'm safely in the lower left quadrant along with all you other wonderful dirty hippie commie bleeding heart liberals <3

February 23rd, 2010, 1:05 AM
Interesting, I was taking this test right before I logged on, lol. XD I agree with the 'I don't care option'. :/

Economic Left/Right: -3.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.92

I've always thought myself as more of a moderate, but I guess not...?

(and I can't post my image, b/c I have to wait after 15 posts....)

February 23rd, 2010, 1:33 AM

I may be the farthest right out of everyone on the thread. Go me /o/

February 23rd, 2010, 2:58 AM
Well, this is me. I used to be a bit more right, but I guess I've changed lately (and hopefully for the better).

February 23rd, 2010, 3:59 AM

Neutral, kinda? I agree on the I Don't Care choice too; I side with not a lot of issues, especially the "controversial" ones.

Whether it's accurate or not, it's say I'm a:

Left-winged Libertarian.
I'm not really into Political naming, so I'm not quite sure if that's accurate or not.

Mario The World Champion
February 23rd, 2010, 8:38 AM
I know this thing might be inaccurate, but I'm surprised by my results.

Economic Left/Right: -2.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.10

I'm leaning left, but I'm just about at the middle when it comes to the Social Libertarian/Authoritarian side.

February 23rd, 2010, 7:37 PM
Not all that many libertarians here.

February 23rd, 2010, 7:54 PM

Economic Left/Right: -6.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.44

I would say that it's a tad closer to the right and authoritarian side than I actually am. :\

Though it can't be 100% right.
