So I was doing some stuff when I ran across a pesky 25/4 filter. And I got hit with a pang of nostalgia.


Who remembers way back when when we used to have social groups and the 25 character rule would be broken all the time with "FILLER FILLER FILLER". Ahh, good times. :'D

Damn, PC changed a lot in 5 years. I feel old. D=

Ok. Enough of the nonsense. Yes I do miss the days of Social Groups and I'd dearly love to see them restored to their former glory; not that that's likely to happen because things were so fillertastically fillertastic that we all got filled up on filler and didn't really get any of the meat if you know what I mean. XD

But ah! The nostalgia! It tickles my mind pleasingly. There's a lot about PC that does that.

Dear lord, I really miss Social Groups.

I never really got into social groups. I remember member fanclubs.. the T-Dome.. the rep system.. oh dear.. haha. The days before VMs or blogs? Good times.

Can someone tell me what the T Dome was? I keep hearing about it, but never bothered to ask till now.

PC's attempt at a "mature eyes only" forum. Was intended to be what the debates forum is now but most of the threads were about sex or masturbation and if not, everything quickly devolved into religious flamewars so it was shut down pretty quick. While it was running, it was hidden from view unless you were 13+ and specifically requested access, iirc.

I'm pretty sure it was only around for something like 3-4 months so I don't know why it gets brought up. :P

It's kind of a PC hearsay legend XD The oldies talk about it as some sort of "man such a crazy thing you missed" and the people who only know about it from second-hand just keep the legend going XD

The infamous T-Dome! Honestly, though, if you didn't know what the hell it was, it'd sound pretty damn interesting. The name alone is pretty cool. Twas a facade, sadly.
