@bobandbill: I got into the Sonic series because my older brother had the Sega Genesis. He moved out at 18, and I was about 5 years old. I played the first 3 Sonic games on the Genesis with my twin brother. We fought over who could be Sonic or Tails. Thus, my favorite game is Sonic 3 because I could still play and fly Sonic around as Tails. I've been playing the games fairly consistently since. Sometimes I stop playing. My high points were in 2003-2005 (SA2B, etc) and 2010+ (Colors, Generations). Overall, Sonic has a hugeee place in my heart. It was one remnant of my older brother he left behind. He was not a part of my childhood. I didn't see him again until I was 17+.

I have not played many Sonic games, surprisingly! I haven't played Unleashed, Rush Adventure, Rivals, Black Knight, London and Original Olympics, Zero Gravity, Free Riders, Advance 1, the handheld versions of Colors and Generations, etc.

@zet: Umm... idk! I have actually never been on a real date before. I may just run away if you approach me, haha! :(

@sydian: oops! Maybe. It's from a tumblr called Sonic running dumb, I think? Something like that, haha. Fans just make .gifs of Sonic running weird. Rainbows <3

On a side-note, your "sonic running dumb" avatar is really mesmerizing for some reason. I would ROFL if that animation somehow made it into a official Sonic game. XD

@Kenshin5: I haven't thought about SSB IV until you mentioned it, haha. I don't even know if I will get the Wii U and such. In addition to Sonic, I'd like Shadow to be playable. His Final Smash can be Super Shadow w/ some chaos powers involved. Shadow has a lot of toys to play with that will help separate him from Sonic's moves. He's more of a fighter than Tails and Knuckles. He's more well known than Blaze.

@Forever: I don't know Ray or Juicy very well, so I will have to decline. There is a Sonic character named Ray. He's a flying squirrel. I don't want that Ray... Haha. XD;

@AlexOzzyCake: Mac shows me more love (well, love-hate!) but you are more well-behaved... Hmm... Moms do have favorites, but it's so wrong. You both have your merits! ;)

@Mac of York: I like being able to make someone's day a little better just by trading them a Pokemon. XD; Trading is a very interactive aspect of Pokemon. Some just think oh, we're swapping bits of pixels and are never talking again... Honestly, what is making Pokemon so popular? The interactivity! Also, I like seeing everyone's shops. The kind of Pokemon they offer and the way their shop is organized says a lot about members. I just think it's a super neat section. Happy to mod it.

I like IRC's live chit chat feature. It's very easy to get to know and help others (and set up trades, but we rarely do that, huh)? Sometimes, we are all on there for too long, or say some things we don't mean to say. :(

@Kirozane: You're mostly my tigerfox! I need a little comfort and will call you mom, though. You give the best hugs! 8D

@fenyx4: I really don't like either. If I had to pick, it would be the Reshiram/Kyurem one.

Yeah, this avatar should be in a game! The Sonic series is good at poking fun at itself, though. Regardless, the Japanese Sonic Channel site features some fan-art.

@ShinySearcher01: Much of my enthusiasm for Sonic series stems from a lot of what I told @bobandbill. Sonic's my childhood. My older brother left me the Sega Genesis (and the Nintendo console). It's what I played before the Playstation and Gameboy Color. I spent my first year of school saying no words; so, I didn't exactly make friends! Video games became my pastime.

I also like the Sonic series because yay animals. I'm an animal lover. I do like other games featuring animal characters: Pokemon, Ratchet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Kirby, Yoshi, Animal Crossing, Final Fantasy, etc. I always play Pokemon and Sonic. I also played Mario when growing up. It wasn't exactly my favorite game: Mario's not a cute little animal! I would rather play as Yoshi (N64). I would fight to the end to play as Yoshi in Mario Tennis, haha.

Hmm. I do adore Contra on the NES. Human characters... but with guns! YAY.

You know what: maybe I liked Sonic and Contra and Pokemon because I can play those games with my twin brother! He was the only friend I had! :/

I just didn't make the connection with Mario as I did with Sonic... I would play Sonic games for the rest of my life. Beautiful soundtrack and scenery. <3 Some of Sonic's games would definitely teach me that the world's not perfect, perhaps dreadful, bahaha.

o a really magical moment: big brother has original NES, buys super mario bros. 3 and plays it with my twin brother! i watched some of it but i fell asleep! boys will be boys, playing games at 4 am! :P
