    Should I play the game now? There's no chance I'm playing it again from the start in the case it updates, so is the game complete as far as content is concerned? I've been waiting for years but I also want to know.

    This particular hack is done update-wise, unless someone else picks it up to finish the storyline. Now's a good time to play it. The creator has started a new hack on RPGMaker.

    Hi, so I have four questions. First, for the provided type-effectiveness chart, what do the various things mean? I assume the red minus and green plus are ineffective and effective respectively (Edit: And Black X is obviously no effectiveness), but what about orange minus, blue plus, grey X, and grey box? Second, is there any way to reset EVs? Most of my team has pretty bad IVs so I feel like I'm gonna have to EV train at some point. Thirdly, do I at any point need to stick with Red's team? Do I need to keep any of Red's main party in my team at any point? I'm asking because during the Lieutenant Surge on the S.S. Anne arc we got thrown into the ocean until Poliwhirl evolved into Poliwrath, so I'm concerned that I may be forced at some points to get different member's of Red's party if I switch out to different Pokemon. Lastly, how long exactly is this game? The main post said that Kanto and the Orange Islands are all that are implemented, but the FAQ mentioned Alola. So, that kinda confused me, unless Alola is part of the Orange Islands in this game.
    Edit: Oh, and also, can the transforming Eevee actually transform between Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, and Eevee like in canon Pokemon Adventures, or is that not something that was implemented?

    Actually, no. All I did was change a couple of pointers and erase some space. The ROM Hack is otherwise unchanged, though some players who had already played the original 15c beta might hear more sounds because th emulator or th EZ Flash Omega is not cutting off part of the sound table.
    My change merely makes the ROM Hack compatible with any emulator, flashcard, or even the 3DS Virtual Console injection without cutting off any data.

    Thank you for this! Been trying to play this Rom on GBA using EZ Flash IV for a long time. However my game crashes when I use "Pika" in any battle after defeating Brock. Don't know if it's related with original ROM. Greets!

    Using Pika, huh...
    I feel that is either from the original hack or the ROM. I should check that myself.

    Hi. Maybe it's me, but I decided to play this fresh for the first time in a long time. I downloaded it, and tried both a Fire red file I have saved on my computer, and a freshly downloaded one, and the hack doesn't want to patch to either. I've tried multiple patchers, and it's the same for all.
    Also, I've tried this with both the version up a bit in the comments, and the beta 15C from the front page, and neither worked.

    what version of Fire Red do I need to patch this too? I've tried a bunch but i can't get the patch to stick.

    Hi! I am new to this hack and I am excited to get started I have heard many great things about it. Just curious, is there a way to change natures and max IVs in game?
