So a friend and I have be been playing through the hack together and agreed to have a battle post champion so there's a few things I need to ask.

Namely, does the stick increase the critical hit ratio for Madame too?

Hi, Has anyone thought about patching for the virtual console on 3ds to allow trade between 3ds consoles?

Overall Madame's critical hit ratio is supposedly increased drastically (25-33% increase from prior comments), so well worth finding and keeping on your Madame. Paired up with 'Slash' every couple hits winds up being a critical hit for me.

I just pretty much finished Gold, which in my opinion is what gen II games should have been. Quite literally. I enjoyed every single fu**ing minute of it. Amazing storyline. Very large variety of combos that I couldn't even think of possible, which is awesome too. For example, Moltres learning Sunny Day @ level 57 and Solarbeam @ level 64 makes an interesting choice for my team. Also, some changes to some type resistances and immunities got me by surprise in this one, sometimes for the best, sometimes for the worst. The exp curve is amazing as well, it just flows throughout the whole game. And I also love the fact that you can refight every gym leader after each E4 run (don't know if it's intended or not, but it's really nice). Anyway, amazing piece of art right there.

    But here comes my mind-bogglers.

    - Seems you can't use Flash outside battles ? (I assumed it's because Flash is a TM and not an HM, so it's not linked to a badge effect)
    - Is there anything good in Rock Tunnel (or so I think - the dark cave in the Kanto region) ? Since I can't use Flash, it's almost impossible to do anything there.
    - There is some items I couldn't find a use for (yet) like the Covenant Orb and the Heart Stone (I just can't seem to see what Pokémon line it can evolve - I have 175+ Pokémon completion at the moment)
    - I'd really want to know where the Miracle Seed is located (if it exists)

And from reading prior comments, there is a chance I might be using an older version, though. Didn't patch the update, not knowing if my save will still be recognized upon patching.

    Thanks in advance y'all, cheers

Covenant orb evolves the 4 gen 1 trade evos. Heart stone evolves Espeon, Xatu, Azumarril, Politoed.
You should be able to steal Miracle Seed off some grass mons, easiest probably Oddish and Gloom.
    No idea about Flash.

Thanks for this awesome hack! I like your changes, specially many Kanto restored places and fountain labyrinth.

I got the 253 pokémon! Attached is my final party, who defeated the bonus trainer.

    Bugs
    1. I can't fly to Birdon. This is annoying sometimes. If you have too many fly points, please swap with Crown City, since was easier to reach into this city.
    2. When I browse pokédex, sometimes it only shows the first pages, sometimes is the second page. When I catch a new pokémon, it works normally.
    3. Metto can't breed
    4. There two berry trees on route 105, but if I pick the berry on one, the other one becames empty.
    5. At Bug-Catching Contest, there are bug pokémon encounters even when I surf.
    6. Red and Yellow Carpets decorations are swapped.
    7. At Ryukyu City, a ledge didn't work (I can walk above)
    8. When I get 30 points on Blue Card, instead of receiving Buena's phone number, I received a Grunt: Pokémaniac phone number.
    9. When the rockets are at Westport barring the Department Store, I can pass for underground and end up inside a rocket.

    Suggestions
    1. It is too hard to get an Eevee. Even in the original Super Gold 97 you need to wait the phone calls for swarms isn't a very good method, but here there is no swarm. Please raise the chance and/or put as Game Corner prize and/or put as a gift by Bill. And make a Trainer use it.
    2. Make babies evolve at Lv12/13 like in the demo. Without this, some ones, like Tritales, takes too much time to evolve, since happiness are very hard to raise in gen 2. Maybe I can get third form starter without evolving Tritales.
    3. Since you raised the E4 levels, you should raise all postgame trainers too. For some reason the SS Aqua (excluding the first visit) have trainer with lower level.
The post-game on lvl3 isn't hard, but here it is even easier.
    4. 8 badges to get Ho-oh/Lugia and the Entei/Raikou/Suicune is too much! And its levels are a little low.
    5. Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres being Lv50 or 60. These pokémon are on a lower level than wild pokémon in the cave. This is strange.
    6. At Alloy City, I can buy Moo Moon milk, but the seller doesn't tell me its price!
    7. On floors unlockeables by Rock Smash/Waterfall, put proportionally higher level trainers and, if possible, wild pokémon.
    8. Raise Super Rod wild pokémon to Lv50, since you get the rod only at postgame
    9. Raise trainers score at Bug-Catching Contest since is easy to win with higher level pokémon than at GSC.

At least do the Eevee suggestion. I want to play with Umbreon/Espeon/Leafeon.

Where can I find a Ditto or Metto in the wild? Also where can I find the Metal Coat and Covenant Orb I need to evolve Ditto into Metto?

Playing Silver and the guy just won't activate Lugia. He keeps saying how I'm "not quite yet ready" and its pissing me off, I've tried everything. I brought Ho-Oh to him, etc.

You need the 8 badges and beaten the E4 once. After that, the last step is a '' rain ritual '' you have to do with Blue to restore Rainbow Island (in the post-game) to the shiny and brillant state it used to be. You need both Ho-Oh and Lugia for that. I also suggest you explore really well that island ;) There is a surprise there I was really amazed to see. There is also lots of nice mons there that are worth it.

And you find Waterfall on your way to Kanto, there is a dude standing in front of the rocks blocking the way. When you talk to him he explodes the boulders (and therefore unblocking the route to from Kanto to Silent town, basically closing the loop), and inside the boulders is the Waterfall HM. It's located on route 114.

I discovered the Game House, just at the entrance of the Westport City gate. The guy owning the place requests you to find people to join his gaming spot, since it hasn't took off. There is a guy in Birdon Town I've been able to send there, but he asks you to find more players to come in. Any idea where there could be more players to send there ?

    2-Kanto Game Corner
^Mentioned in my old notes BUT didn't trigger in v5.1 patch
^CORRECTED - not the BOARDWALK Game Corner
    3-Kume City Social House (post-game I think)

It's been a long time since I played so started playing from scratch w/ the v5.1 patch [download link needs updating] on romhacking(.net) under the account 'Cam' as of 12/24/22.

Some bugs/errors I noticed: [currently post 4th badge and beaten Sunpoint City Rocket Executive]
    - TEKNOS CITY (aquarium arc): Final Rocket Grunt doesn't have a [ ! ] bar over their head upon entering their sight.
    - BIRDON TOWN (SLOWPOKE WELL): After third rival battle, your team is healed [noice BUT the only time] and there's no healing sound effect.
^SUGGESTION: All rival battles ought to include a HP healing after dealing with your rival.
    - ROUTE 116: Aide that gives you the Everstone has grammatically incorrect dialogue [It's a handy stone when you don't a certain POKéMON to evolve.]
^IF text boxes allot: Be sure to use it for POKéMON that you don't want to evolve.
    - ROUTE 104: Officer Dirk can be passed WITHOUT a fight happening, must directly talk to NPC to start a battle
    ^CONFIRMED still present in v5.1
    - ROUTE 105: Two trees, one Red Apricorn (right of lady NPC looking for ELEC-type) and second tree downward toward Jade Forest gives a 'There's nothing here...' message
^CONTEXT: My first time traversing this area, there's no berry that comes from this tree
    - JADE FOREST: Second to last trainer (Bug Catcher Wayne) doesn't move around to spot ( ! ) you on it's own POV
    - ROUTE 109: Interaction with what should be POKéFAN JAIME (the 2nd trainer on route with a single Lv34 Ponyta) after SCHOOLBOY CHAD
^CONFIRMED: No fight during the morning - moved in front of trainer, no ( ! ) icon appeared, no battle; must fight at night
^NPC diagloue: Ufufufu... I hope it gets dark soon.
^SAILOR HARRY (before entering Route Gate) has ( ! ) upon entering their sight ONLY if directly next to him; 2 squares or more = no ( ! ) action

I'm sure I've mentioned prior complaints about movepools of certain PKM here, but I think they're worth hearing for the latest version (v5.1):

I have an old document showcasing supposed movepools of each PKM in this rom hack. I've noticed some changes for the better, but then there're some that haven't. Currently level grinding a Hitmontop, and so disappointed about it's moveset not changing since earlier versions. Can confirm how upon evolving, I've leveled it up to Lv43 where it could learn DETECT, and before that having learned RAPID SPIN (25), COUNTER (31), and AGILITY (37). So far, the trajectory shows it learning maybe TRIPLE KICK (49) and REVERSAL (52) left, as the other moves were correctly foretold in this old document.

Within the entries, it mentions learning ROLLING KICK at Lv1 (pfft), and Hitmontop being the one of two PKM to learn this if discounting egg move entries... I'm just annoyed how upon leveling there isn't a couple more FIGHTING-type moves within its movepool, or at least learning ROLLING KICK or DOUBLE KICK after evolving Tyrogue at some point. On a related note, Hitmonlee is the only other that learns ROLLING KICK, at Lv11... Unless there's a move relearner (obviously not in this generation) it's impossible to learn ROLLING KICK without trading to a future generation PKM game...

THANKFULLY there's Action Replay -> haven't tried yet, but considering this is a patched Crystal version, code '91xxe1dc' should alter your 1st PKM's first move slot, found some worth trying (replace xx with below codes):
**For the life of me I CANNOT get this rom hack to alter first PKM moveslots - maybe possible for others but I'm not wasting anymore time w/ this route

    1a = Jump Kick (for -lee) / 1b = Rolling Kick (for -top/-lee) / 59 = Earthquake / bc = Sludge Bomb / ca = Giga Drain / d3 = Steel Wing / ed = Hidden Power / f7 = Shadow Ball /
