Hi! Made this account just to ask you, how is the HM situation in this game? Because I absolutely hate having to carry an HM slave around. Thanks!

Hi, i've been playing this hack a lot lately and i have some things to say:
Positive:
-Great graphics! makes the game look amazing!
-Love the list of available pokemon on every route, makes hunting for a specific pokemon really easy
-Great item selection on Celadon. Opens new strategies.
-Surprisingly the game doesn't need mega/z/dyna features to be fun.
-Just a misc thought. Some players may be discouraged to try the rom without the CFRU upgrade. Hacking has come so far nowadays that i think the CFRU is a must on modern Fire Red hacks. However, your project manages to get interesting and fun without the need for it. Keep going that way (To be honest, i was hesitant to try this hack because its not a CFRU project but i gave it a chance anyways)
Negative/Controversial:
-Why does every trainer has 4 Healing items? It's so annoying and just makes you waste PP
-Its so hard for regular hackrom or modern players to adapt to the old mechanics, like Electric Pokemon being able to be paralyzed. This took me of guard so much.
-Shiny pokemon arent as exciting anymore. Yes, i know some pokemon get cool new colors but theyre so easy to get.
-Why do you implement a lot of houses with closed doors? I keep bonking on the doors trying to enter.
-Some level scaling is just crazy. You enter the Bug Dojo out for curiosity after beating misty and then you get destroyed by a level 50 Heracross.
Weird Stuff:
-The reworked moveset is nice and all. But, Why does Feraligatr learns Smart Strike? It has no horns lol
-The new moves are really apreciated since the lack of CFRU. But some of them are just...weird
-Maybe you should update the in game text to tell the player where to use an specific field move. I just keep getting the "A new badge is required" at the wood entrances and i just learnt that you need Smart Strike to open them, by reading this whole thread.
-I know its not possible to implement, but a reworked HM system would be really appreciated. Using the old standard "teach the move" system with an expanded filed move list is just annoying.
Overall, this has been a great and fun experience, it shows Kanto fully upgraded and i would say that this is the Perfect Fire Red Enhaced experience without making the game hella hard (looking at you, Radical Red)

My game literally freezes when entering vermilion city , no matter which side you go in , I think it's a music bug or something , I'm using Delta on IOS as an emulator and I don't think bc of the only emu on iOS I shouldn't be able to play lol
Did you check the Emulator list at the beginning of the game and in the post here?

noww im just playing on MGba on my Pc , just wish the ai didnt have so many pokemon AND use healing items every time, very grindy also lol the lvls jump way too much and i only got 3 badges rn im not a caually either lol its more annoying than hard. [yt and comp player] great game tho feels like a fresh Kanto

everyone doesnt need to have 5 pokemon it slows the game down alot lol PLUS heals one or the other OR either lol.

this is a nice looking rom hack, though some features make it a tad bit annoying which i hope will be addressed in the future.
- trainers spamming potions
- trainer levels being too high in some cases, forcing tedious grinding (poor level curve)
- too many HM/Field Moves, I don't feel it's necessary to force the move on the pokemon in order to use it in the field

Why does that happen when Giovanni the 8th gym trainers have lvl 50s and then when u battle him he has level 95s😂😂😂😂😂not to mention it's no where to train then I'm hearing 19 trainers in the league 😅such a good game with terrible mechanics forgot to mention if u get his Pokémon hp down FULL RESTORE REVIVE

It is a game played on the emulator yall tried so hard to make it difficult like radical red , it's not even hard just annoying

It kills the game best thing about it is the map changes and Pokémon
If you read the beginning of the post, you would see that the project aims to bring the world of hack roms to new users or those looking for more smooth gameplay.
If you want a more elaborate challenge that allows cheat codes, you can look for other hacks, pal.
