    Yeah I agree Chikara, some people took such a pessimistic look at the joke. Instead of enjoying april fools, they failed to have fun and became mad they got to have the title of mod for a day. A shame they couldn't enjoy it.

    I on the other hand, loved it. Got to wear that bright shiny blue badge with pride, even though I didn't have any power what so ever, I still had a blast. ;D

    It was fun, but I had braced myself for something along the lines of a crazy April Fools Joke the day before so I didn't have the privilege of being shocked, angry, or caught off-guard -_-''. I had a screenshot taken of my "mod-ness" and I intend not to let it go for the rest of my life. Precious moment.

    As for if we had the power of mods, it would be a complete disaster >_>. Most threads would probably be unreasonably locked, and things among those lines.

    haha I can sort of imagine the chaos now, if we all had regular powers things would be waaay~ out of hand.

    Though I've managed a forum like vb before, so when they just gave us the title I wasn't really surprised to not have any power. Though I did wish I could have found out which forum I "supposedly ran" even though they weren't assigned, would have been cool though.

    Nah, we're 'general mods' who have been entrusted to watch over the general forums. <--(I wish.)

    The catastrophe of having all people gain the power to lock threads, etc. would take weeks to recover from, and only from a simple April Fools Joke. Who knows, by the end of the day some psycho would have put it as their life's purpose to close all threads on the forum O_o. That would be an issue ._. .

    It just popped into my mind to advertise the Pokecommunity on other sites like the following: "Join Pokecommunity now and get a free Mod Position, no fuss required!" <_<

    Oh well. Now that I think I about it, I DO have an alternate account. So I guess that one will keep the precious Modness forever. Thank goodness. -sigh of relief-

    Wait, we can have alternate accounts? I thought that was against the Pokecommunity rules. Well hey looks like you do learn something every day. ;D I wouldn't even need one anyways, I've made a big enough rep with this account, so no matter.

    Also, yeah I agree... when the DCC get active post count seems to sky rocket. The DCC was were I got my first posts & friends. Good times. ;D

    And I thought reputation varied on the accounts I used... I mean like, people would like me more if I alternated accounts >_> Like that worked. And it isn't against PC's rules cause you're not banned...

    The DCC... brings bad memories.

    I can't be stuffed logging-out and changing accounts btw. XD

    The DCC is the main post-giving thread around. I think that most of the posters here have got at least half of them here.

    I've gotten more than just half because about 80% of my posts come from the DCCs of the past. People of the older DCCs always referred to me as the Official DCC Killer.

    That's a interesting way to use an alternate account. I probably would only get one if I felt I'd ever had a problem happen with this one. Though I think the staff should have alternate accounts, in case of anything bad we're to happen to their main one, or wanted to feel normal then I guess. (lol) I have no clue what that would mean/happen though. XD

    Yeah the DCC provided many of my posts early on. These days though, the other voting polls section is what gives me most of my posts.

    Good point but still its not an April Fool's Joke until we get our share of pwnage on the staffers. Why do they get all the fun and yet all we get is their little tricks? : <

    Well if you think about, if they gave us all mod powers this place would go insane. So many people would abuse them in a wrong manner it would take a very long time to recover from the damage. =/ Still I thought it was pretty funny though, they got pretty much everyone for some amount of time, so joke was a success. =P


    I too don't post as much as I used as well, I started here at PC on fire, and now hitting the wall. XD
