Dawn's Pokemon (Spoilers!)

People have their theories.

I for one have the strange feeling Mamoswine will be traded for Happiny (mainly Happiny) or Gliscor, tbh. But *shrug*

Others think that Froslass will trap Dawn in a cave in a snowstorm (considering an upcoming title says Froslass and the Snowstorm or something like that), Mamoswine will get hurt, Dawn will try to keep it warm, passes out, mamoswine keeps her warm until the morning, and viola. Since they seem to like repeating old things. (Ash getting stuck in cave using Charmander to keep warm after he tries to keep all his pokemon warm.)

Well, in my opinion, Mamoswine fits Brock MUCH more, as well as Happiny fitting Dawn more. Whenever I see Happiny, I actually think it's Dawn's, then I remember.

And Gliscor just doesn't really seem to like to battle, or Ash just chooses not to use him. He's battled what? 3 times total? Had a dream last night of Ash leaving Gliscor at Oak's for no reason... then I woke up cause I was dreaming about pokemon <_<

I'm glad Dawn has a pokemon that isn't considered cute by every character it encounters. I think she needs to have a pokemon that looks like it could rip someone's head off any second, and I'm sure she will try to enter it in a contest and I believe they might actually do well. Give the judges something else to look at.

Gliscor likes Ash, he chose Ash for a reason. Please don't bring up Aipom because Ambi likes contests. Gliscor has never showed interest in them. Ash has worked very hard for Gligar to evolve (heck you could have watched this morning's episode to see). Maybe in the Mio gym, Gliscor will shine. I mean the writer's may have given him fire fang for this or the next gym. Also Gliscor would probably become hysterical if he was traded. Picture the little Moe blob hearing he/she has to be traded for Mamoswine. Ash traded Aipom/Ambipom because it was what was best for her, same with Mamoswine. This really would not be best unless Gliscor started showing interest in contests.

As for both trades, what type of trainer/coordinator would Dawn be if she just through away any strong pokemon? Now last if anyone says that coordinators can't have strong pokemon. Look at May,Zoey, Kenny, Harley, Solidad, Drew, Robert, Wallace(a former champ and coordinator), technically Ash, Brock, Juan, her mom, Timmy. I mean pokemon don't have to be only cutesy for contests.

I agree 100% for what u just said that not all coordinators need cutesy pokemon, and they can be just as strong looking!

I highly doubt that will happen, but I do think that in a few epsiodes later she will show how much she cared for mamoswine and it will start to obey her once again...

Mamoswine is finally released because Dawn realized she is to pathetic of a trainer and decides she wants a wurmple instead. So she releases Mamoswine and it kills everyone...."

Okay to be serious now, again what type of coordinator would she be if she just released Mamoswine. I bet if this was about Charizard before he chilled out, then no one would say the same thing. It seems half the time, that no one wants her to have a strong Pokemon because she is
A. a girl
Or B. A coordinator.

Okay.. I haven't watched many D/P episodes, and could probably be considered completely lost as far as the story goes nowadays.
But from everything I've read and heard.
Dawn is just another Ash.
Piplup is just another Pikachu.
Mamoswine isn't obeying Dawn, just as Charizard didn't obey Ash.
Piplup won't evolve, just as Pikachu never will.
If it wasn't so late and I wasn't so tired I could probably think of more reasons why I believe this..
It bothers me that everyone says Dawn is such a developed character. But everytime I hear about her or see an episode she's just.. like.. Ash.
Except.. a girl version of Ash that competes in contests instead of gym battles.
*killed by Dawn fans* (Haha.. like Donphans... XD)

Anyway.. attempting to get back on topic:
I'm sure it will take more than just a few episodes for Mamoswine to obey Dawn. It's a powerful Pokemon, and she's just this meek little girl. If I were Mamoswine, I would just be like, "I'm way bigger and way tougher than you, and I don't have to do anything you say".

Though I do wonder this: Why would a Pokemon suddenly decide it doesn't like its trainer when it evolves. Like.. Charmander would do anything for Ash, but when it evolved, it just absolutely hated him, it seemed. It's like their personality completely changes, I don't get it... : /
Oh well.

I was really surprise to hear that Dawn's pokemon evolved so fast into a Mamoswine. I mean she just caught it in the dub. Su.

Well as in obeying her. I am thinking it is going to take a really long while. I am willing to say maybe at least around Snowpoint City we will see it obeying Dawn but maybe not. It is seeming to be the same with Charizard but it was a very quick evolution.

Still I am really hoping that Mamoswine obeys Dawn quickly. I can't wait to see Mamoswine with Dawn in a contest. I mean who says that Dawn can't have massive powerhouses. Munchlax was May's Powerhouse and in no way was he cute. May also had Blaziken and she was super powerful. So I can expect taht Mamoswine will be a massive powerhouses for the Contest Battles with Blizzard.

Yeah, I would agree with that pretty much- it will be tough at the start but something will happen and it will obey her.

I agree I thin it'll be quite someime till it starts obeying Dawn. I mean Charizard started to pull through for Ash because of Blaine, but who can make Mamoswine pull through Dawn? Maybe Nando, and thats it. I'd actually like to see Dawn work for something.
