Wow, This hack is so creative. I can see why it won hack of the month ;) I am trying out the alpha. Is this the first ever team rocket based hack? Seeing this hack made me get a new hack idea tingling in my head. But i have to finish my current hack first. xD anyways good luck on this hack there i and maybe all the fan of this hack want to see it 100% complete ;)

Yay, we've been stickied AND tagged! ... This probably means that I should get the next alpha out soon, huh? (But I've got a test this week and two essays coming up, alas... It'll be a bit.)

There have been other Team Rocket based hacks. Team Rocket Edition is a completed Rocket-centric hack of Red, and Rocket's Revenge is a cancelled hack that was pretty popular long before ToxicPurple came around. (Or is it back in production again? I think it was for a little bit and then it re-died.) And there have been lots of other hacks in the scrapbox and such that proposed Rocket-based hacks, but as far as I know none of them ever got very far.

I´d be more happy if the trade-evolution pokemon´s stay as it´s middle form than evolve leveling up (it´s unnatural!!!) but if you can make a way to have an Alakazam, ouh, you´re gonna be my savior...

on a side note, ckret i offered a few pages back to be the official walkthrough maker. How do you feel about this? I will do a good job if you permit me to do the walkthrough, id include a FAQ as well, and so when the 1st time posters ask the same question over and over you can just point and say "WALKTHRU *****!:@"
and i will do a good job on it don't worry =)

so is that a yes or no? :P

I just wanted to say that this is hands down my favorite hack. I love the beta (wish it didn't have to end so soon). I was reading through the thread and I just can't figure out why some were complaining about rattata being the starter. I actually like rattata (maybe I'm just weird like that). I even managed to catch the marowak XD. I wish I could do something to help you out but sadly my hacking skills are lacking. Well anyways keep up the good work I really hope you finish it.

Yeah, I'd have to agree, Rattata is a strong Pokemon. It is also fast. But this hack and Silvercurrent are my favorite hacks.. They're very much original, and kept some Firered Elements. Congratulations on Hack of the Month Secret2(ckret2) lol.

The alpha ends after the tower mission, so you can't get your promotion yet. You'll be able to get the promotion in the next alpha, and at that point it'll be a bit obvious who you're supposed to talk to. It'll be back in the Saffron Rocket base.

You can skip the promotion if you'd like, though, and go on the next mission through Rock Tunnel. That will also be occurring in the next alpha.

Yep! Except it won't be called "Daycare" or anything like that, since they certainly don't "care" about their Pokémon. It's just the Rocket Breeding Center. It'll be quite a while before you get access to it, though.

mmm i was thinking something... i don´t know if you thinking this ckret2 but, can we see in the rocket base or in another place the hundreds or tousands of rattatas that they raise for the newbie grunts?
i think this gonna look cool, because they don´t catch or buy their pokemon, more likely they traffic with them.

Later in the game will there be a mission where you can get a snorlax like an admin gives you three snorlax's tells you to block off the two routes and then go kidnap mr.fuji and lock him in the top room in the pokemon tower since he has the only pokeflute that could wake them up and you get to keep the third snorlax as a reward.
