What animals do you want to see as Pokemon, here's what I want to see in Generation 6:

  • A Dolphin
  • A Fox that does not have multiple tails or shapeshifting powers, just a regular Fox, not a Kitsune
  • A Werewolf
  • A Kangaroo (Kangaskahn is most definetly NOT a Kangaroo, it does not even LOOK like one)
  • A Meerkat
  • A T-Rex
  • A Husky
  • A Pegasus
  • A Robot Dragon
  • A Chinchilla..... wait, WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ALREADY IS A CHINCHILLA!?

But the real question is: Will there even be a Gen VI?

However, if there was I'd hope to see nintendo design a dolphin pokemon, since I am surprised there isn't one.

Kangaskhan & Miruhoggu:P

Things I'd like to see:
An actual lion or a tiger
A Chinese dragon
Another elephant, something larger then Donphan
A boa constrictor or an anaconda
An orca
A gorilla

Jabberwocky

A guinea pig, fo' shizzle. It would evolve into a rad capybara. It's totally obvious.

@Myles: Kyogre is based on the Biblical monster Leviathan (the Best of the Sea), just as Groudon is based on its counterpart, Behemoth.

I'd like to see more fossils/dinosaurs.
I want to see more dinosaur fossil Pokemon too (Stegosaurus comes to mind in particular).

I also want to see a flying fish Pokemon (not Gyarados, but a Pokemon based on the actual flying fish species).

Kangaskahn a kangaroo!? Seriously, does this look ANYTHING at all like this, asides from the pouch, and the fact that she has "Kanga" in her name, Kangaskahn is most definetly not a kangaroo, Kangaskahn looks more like a giant armadillo mixed with a prehistoric reptile than a kangaroo, if we were to have an actuall kangaroo Pokemon, it would be a two stage Fighting type with boxing gloves, and would be used by a Gym Leader in the Generation 6 region.

I want a Chinese dragon too, every single Dragon type we ever got has been a European dragon, the closest we have ever gotten to a Chinese dragon is Rayquaza, and it's based on something Mexican.....

For the boa and the gorilla, Nintendo just gave us Jaroda and Hihidaruma, I never even knew that THAT of all the 5th Gen Pokemon was a meerkat, I always thought it was a groundhog of some sort.....

Kangaskhan is based on a kangaroo, regardless of whether or not you want to believe it. I figured this out when I was eight on my first visit to the Safari Zone. It appeared and I thought "Hey look a Kangaroo."

Considering that I was a complete imbecile at the age of 8, it's shouldn't be that hard of a concept to realize that it's based on a kangaroo. That doesn't mean it has to look like one 100%. Likewise, Ryhorn and Rydon are based on rhinos, but they don't look very similar.

Also; does this look like a chicken to you? http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:257Blaziken.png

Kyogre is based on the Biblical monster Leviathan (the Best of the Sea)
Except that Leviathan is usually depicted as some kind of serpent, looking nothing like the flat whale with huge fins that Kyogre is. Gyarados looks way more like Leviathan, if I remember correctly its French name even is based on it (I'm not exactly sure about that though).

@topic: I'd love to see a roach Pokemon. Some highly defensive bug with decent speed and access to a wide variety of Poison and maybe Dark moves. Just don't make it part Steel, there are by far enough of these by now.

I'd like to see a good elephant Pokemon(and IMO Donphan isn't an elephant, Phanpy yes, but Donphan definitly not!).
And how about a Komodo dragon, or any other monitor lizard! The closest we got is Sceptile...

- Peacock
- Platypus
- Dolphin
- Panda (aside from Spinda)
- Unicorn
- Llama
- Cheetah (FYI, the new purple cat in 5th gen is a leopard, the Japanese name even has the word 'leopard' in it. And yes, there is a difference between a cheetah and leopard, go study your ecology.)
- Arctic fox
- Emu
- Tazmanian devil
- Gargoyle
- Lion (I disagree that Shinx's line are lions, but rather lynxes. And Entei speaks more canine, IMO.)

Chameleons as well haven't been made into much yet.. they could really do a lot with that concept.
