Snivy's a great name, I really got sick of the whole Smugleaf thing, and Snivy fits much better. It's not just two relevant words tacked together, they blend together quite nicely into a natural-sounding name. Snake/Snide, Ivy... Yes. I like it, even if I don't particularly like the Pokemon itself.
Tepig is a horrendous, awful name. Not only does it not sound sensible whether you pronounce the first OR the second syllable, but it's a horribly clumsy elision of two words, plus "tepid" isn't even that relevant given that it means lukewarm - not very firey at all. It's almost as though they regretted making Pokabu so awesome in the first place - first they gave its evolutions Fire/Fighting typing, then they give it this awful name. At least its evolutions should have better names (they couldn't really be any worse) but there were so many better names suggested...
Oshawott doesn't do much for me, but it doesn't offend me either. It's a bit awkward, but there we go. I haven't really seen any better suggestions anyway, given that Wotter (the best I've seen) is a pretty daft, oversimplified name.
I'll get used to them all though, so no worries I guess.
